Beautiful cabin! Close to great hiking at Daniel Boone and Natural Bridge.

This cabin was a great getaway! I loved the open but cozy feel of the space. We only had two people staying, so there was plenty of space for sitting by the fire, around the table etc. Might be a bit cramped for more than 4 though. It wasn't clear from the pix, but one BR and one BA are upstairs, which is really nice to give people their own space. The roads are a bit of a challenge, so do heed that warning about 4WD if there is any sort of inclement weather predicted! Even the "paved" road is extremely steep and gravelly, and we had to take two runs to get up the driveway! On the other hand, the location is great if you want to just explore the Gorge. So many great hikes are just a few minutes away, and every drive is quite scenic. Really loved the experience here and would highly recommend.

This is my second time staying at one of Amy’s cabins. They are beautifully crafted and super cozy. We loved sitting in the new hot tub and listening to the creek. I couldn’t get the hot water to come on the first night but I stopped by the main house and the maintenance man greeted me and said he would fix it up. It was fixed within the next hour or two before we got back from our hike. I didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly. A couple small additions that would be helpful: An extra towel per person so you can have one for bathing and one for the hot tub. A bedside lamp. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and plan to stay at the Red River Gorgeous cabins again in the future!

The place was very nice and private. Not too far from local parks and perfect spot for a nice campfire. Host was responsive and helpful when needed.

We are in the farrier business and had been traveling in the area for work. It turned out to be one of those days when nothing went right and we found ourselves in need of a spot to stop and get some rest for the night. I sent Lisa a message and she agreed to host us on extremely short notice. She was an absolute lifesaver and we appreciate it so much! Our stay was great and we would definitely recommend it, and we would for sure stay there again if we find ourselves in need of accommodations in that area.

We loved our weekend here. It rained 5+ inches during our stay so we unfortunately weren’t able to hike much (or check out the sky net), but it was so nice taking it easy and chilling in the cabin! Really cozy spot, secluded, beautiful views from the huge windows, and a good selection of games. I’m going to miss falling asleep + waking up to the rain on the roof now that I’m back home. We’d definitely come back!

Stayed in Cabin 3 for a week in October 24. The cabins and property are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Lawn is maintained nicely. There is a fire ring with chairs waiting for you! Paved road and designated parking space / area. Cabin looks exactly like it does in all of the pictures. There are no stairs / steps to Cabin 3 which makes it really nice if you have mobility issues. Squirrells and birds abound in the peaceful quiet area. It is at the beginning of a dead end street so there isn't much traffic or noise. There isn't a dresser or closet here nor any storage / counter space in the bathroom - so just be aware of that. Futon was comfortable to sleep on and so was the bed. Elliotts Pizza (turn right onto 801 and then right on 60 at the roundabout and it's on your left} is close, priced right and delicious! Kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Cabin is competitively priced for the area. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with.

One large house and two apartments was perfect for our four families. Massive yard and small walking paths made this a great place to use as a home base

Two adults and two 13 yr old girls. We didn't read the listing carefully, but that was on us. We arrived at about 10 pm. It was dark but the directions were excellent. We found it. The last part of the drive on the gravel road was an adventure, but we made it. We all decided to roll with it. It is pretty much a sleeping porch. With the added adventure of an outhouse. It was chilly last night but warm under the blankets. All in all, we had a fun time and a unique experience.

Such a cute place to stay with a great kitchen! I would definitely recommend this space for your next vacation.

We had a great stay. The space isn’t huge, but had everything we needed for a great stay. As a bonus, our friends were just a short walk away at Deena’s other place. That house was much larger. The combo worked out very well for our two families to share a wonderful rock climbing Friendsgiving vacation.

The cozy cabin was a great place to stay. My family really can’t wait to return. One thing I would mention for others’ to be able to plan accordingly is that the cabin’s internet connection was not very strong. We were not able to stream video with it. Thankfully our phones’ signal was good enough so our tired kids could watch something at the end of the day to wind down. There is so much to do in RRG outdoors that this was a minimal issue.

My husband and I had a great time at the Soul Sister Cabin. We especially enjoyed the stocked kitchen which made cooking meals very easy. The cabin was close to the main road, but we were not bothered at all by traffic as some other reviewers have said. My favorite part of the stay was listening to the rain on the metal roof and watching/listening to the creek. Our only tip for future renters: This home does have well water, which is found in the description, so come prepared if that might bother you. We just brought a large pack of bottled water which we used for drinking, making coffee, and cooking :) Thanks so much Stay Over Cabins for our great stay!

This was our third stay at one of Colby and Angela's cabins. Second at this one. We absolutely love it there and can't wait to get a chance to stay there again

Lovely cabin. Beautiful view and surroundings. We stayed here with my parents and sister for my daughter’s graduation at Morehead. The kitchen is well appointed. Clean. The cabin does have a bit of an awkward layout as you pass through sleeping quarters to get to the small living room and from one bedroom through to another bedroom. We’re family and so it was fine but if it was a couples retreat, that might not be ideal. The front porch is a great gathering area with a view to the hatchery. Beds were comfortable. Overall an enjoyable stay and would recommend.

This was a last minute booking and they were very responsive. Very nice, very clean, peaceful location. I had stayed there before years ago, and everything was just as I had remembered…. PERFECT! Great location for a great getaway at the lake!!
