This home was super comfortable, roomy and clean. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay and would return to Peaceful Corner again. A plus was getting to bring our dog! Great time.

Review for The Muir Valley Overlook House, Campton, KY I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Muir Valley Overlook house, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Nestled in a beautifully serene setting, this spacious and impeccably clean house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the fabulous hot tub, which was nothing short of a blissful retreat after a day of hiking adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. There’s something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a hot tub under the stars, and this one did not disappoint. The expansive living space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime. An unexpected bonus was the selection of video games, which added an extra layer of fun to our evenings. Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, this house is equipped to keep everyone entertained. Thank you Breck and Linda! 🙂

Terry’s place was the entire house on a corner that was very comfortable and accommodating. Everything was Everything was accounted for in terms of needs. There were included snacks and a separate ice machine and the king and queen beds were comfortable. Parking was easy both in the house’s driveway in the back or on the street in front. All in all, a very nice property.

This house is fantastic! Very comfortable. Great outdoor spaces. We made several meals at home using the cookware/utensils with no issues. Brought our dogs and the back deck was gated and perfect to let them out to relax but not have to worry about them running away to explore. Was notified that they were able to turn the house over for us to check in early without us even asking! Would recommend and stay again.

This was a great place to stay and a very good location to all the activities at Red River Gorge (only like a 15 min drive)! Of course some of the hiking trailheads are further away any resturaunt, store, etc... you can easily get to within 15 mins from the Airbnb. The place was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable! Sarah was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. Her list of recommendations was also super helpful and all the resturaunts that we got to try were amazing! We will definitely be booking here again if we return to the Gorge!

Cute little cabin! Perfect location. kitchen was stocked for cooking (pots & pans) . Towels for showers, and lots of blankets through out the house. Very clean house.

We came to The Red just to enjoy the outdoors and the sport of climbing. The weather almost made us miss out on the whole week but Jim helped us make the decision of coming anyways. Since he lives close by to give us a better weather and area report. The house provided activities too for the kids. They loved the pool table and hot tub.

This place was absolutely amazing !! We had an awesome time here. We came down to go to the lake and this was the perfect spot. Overall we had a nice relaxing trip - just remember to bring your bug spray !!!

We LOVED our stay!!!! This place is truly a gem and I am so glad I was able to find it for my husband’s birthday weekend getaway for our family. We had peace and quiet plus great amenities to take advantage of. We went on an adventurous hike and even tried a local restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful and if there were any questions or needs they were on top of it. Michaela was readily available and very reponsive! The outpost owner was amazing as well! Super friendly and was great to chat with and taught us a lot about the area! Definitely made our stay memorable! Book today, you won't be disappointed!

The cottage is in a lovely location, tucked away behind a big house on top of a hill (the glorious 8 seater hot tub is on the big house porch, about 50ft through the grass from the cottage’s door). Sonya was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The cottage was lovely with everything one could possibly need, and very clean and welcoming. She has five dogs who are all sweet little balls of mischief and fun who kept me company during my visit. This was probably my favorite Kentucky Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, highly recommend!

Staying at the cabin was amazing! It was easy to find, super clean, and had plenty of space for all of us. The fire pit was a highlight—we had so much fun hanging out and making memories together. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable trip!

We spent the weekend for my twin daughters 10th birthday and had an amazing time. We practically spent thr whole weekend in the pool but still plenty to do in the house due to rain. We truly had a stress worry free weekend. This house has all the amenities you could think of and then some. Perfect location and privacy yet still close to the gorge and scenery and all the stores. Would definitely stay again, hoping to in the future actually.

Sonya was an amazing host! She was welcoming and laid back. Her tiny home made us feel AT home. We enjoyed the hot tub and the many visitors aka dogs:) We had literally everything we needed and kicked back at the fire many nights. She kindly supplied wood, which was huge! Would recommend.

This venue is wonderful in a community with very little hotel options.. It would be a great venue to have a wedding at!

Our hosts were kind to allow us early entry as we were hosting family our first evening due to the loss of a beloved family member. We were gathering to celebrate his life at his funeral in a nearby town the next day. The property manager was kind to drop off toys soon after our arrival for our grandkids to play with in the large open yard. Our four grandchildren had a blast playing together in the yard. She also told us about a playground nearby. We loved sitting on the covered porch sharing reflections about our family member as well as hosting extending family to share a meal that first night. Because we were allowed early entry I was able to put the bulk of the meal in the crockpot so it would be ready for us all after our airport run. We really appreciated the kindness shown to us during this sad time.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is cute and comfy. Even without a cooktop and oven, cooking was a breeze with the air fryer. The beds were a dream, so comfortable! The property is amazing, the waterfalls were such a beautiful surprise. It was very peaceful and private but is probably a lot busier in warmer temps. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan on returning.

Kitty & Meredith made accommodations for my kiddos and I last minute when our hotel reservations fell through. Our stay was fantastic and the outdoor playground and patio were awesome for the kiddos!

If you’re torn on where to stay and are looking for a peaceful get away this is 100% where you should stay. The cabin is the perfect size if you’re not the tent camping type. The view of the sunrise is beautiful and the ducks are there to greet you and keep you entertained. They are adorable, and Liz and mark even have corn under the deck for you to feed them. There is enough hiking on the property to keep you busy for several hours (there are even two waterfalls!) I saw deer in the morning out of the cabin windows and turkey in the woods. It is in the middle of nowhere and was perfect. Liz and Mark were both very friendly and helpful. I was worried I wouldn’t have cell service but had 1-2 bars of extended service on most of the property for anyone who is curious (I have Verizon) but lost service when leaving the property at times depending on what direction I went so just something to keep in mind. Will definitely return.
