My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

Judy’s cabin was a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and great location. It was spacious for our family. It’s right across from the pool/gym, a short walk to mini golf and the beach. Judy was very attentive and responded quickly to messages. Thank you Judy! We look forward to staying again 😊

Gayle and Lee were amazing hosts!! We were greeted by the hosts at check-in and they had already set-up for us the woodstove fire place. The room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and spotless floors. What really stood out to us was all of the personal touches from the freshly baked sourdough bread with butter and jam to a folder full of recommendations to build your own personalized itinerary. Unfortunately on the night of check-in my partner got the stomach flu. We informed the hosts and they leaped into action to help us in every way possible. They provided us with medication and disinfection to prevent myself from getting sick as well. They also graciously offered us an extra complimentary night for my partner to rest. We can't wait to come back!!

Sandra's place was perfect. The reviews about how well set up the kitchen is are accurate. Sandra provides a coffee maker for drip coffee, pods, and a French press. The house is clean and beautiful. We loved the hottub the fireplace. We really enjoyed our time there and will rent again.

The perfect place to go for us and an incredible host. The property has everything you need and then some! Lovena, the host, is an amazing chef too!

Willos place was great. Very homey and comfortable, felt like staying at a friends house. Super cozy for our winter long weekend getaway. Loved the wood fire stove. Was definitely a rustic environment and felt like a cabin, which was perfect for us and our dog. There was no full oven, but used the cooktop and BBQ lots and has some amazing meals. Great place to decompress for a couple days, was super quiet and private.

Very nice play to stay.

Doug was quick to respond and very friendly. He greeted us at the front door and gave us a tour of the property. The property was just as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and Doug gave us a fair warning about the rain, however it made it even more magical. It was a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend, and will be back again.

We were very happy with the location and the property was absolutely beautiful. She had fresh flowers on the table also it was very clean and relaxing place to stay. We will be staying again next time we are in the area!!

Raquel was an amazing host! She is so friendly and very easy to communicate with. I felt like home at her place. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful location, perfect for those who love nature, ocean and lots of hiking. Everything is within a walking distance from the place. I managed without a car and I absolutely loved it. I’ll definitely come back. It was one of the best airbnb experiences for me! I highly recommend to rent this place if you are single, or a couple travelling with your lovely pet companion.

Perfect cozy place. Brad shared the check-in instructions and address which were super helpful to locate the stay. If you are planning to drive at night then make sure to download offline maps and instructions. The washrooms well maintained. Note: this is not for people who are looking for spacious room. It can fit two suitcases and place to walk.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Very comfortable bed, good projector for watching movies at night with a beautiful view into the forest behind it when you raise it up. There are 3 dogs on the farm, who are working hard to protect the animals and family, they will bark but they are good dogs so dont be scared. Owner is very friendly and accommodating but also gives you your privacy. Very easy to find and owner provides directions aswell, I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Powell River

We have a 15month old puppy! She was completely welcome at Darren’s. The property is surrounded by woods, making dog walks a truly lovely experience. The property is 15 mins from everything in Parksville so easy peasy in that regard. We loved our visit!

Absolutely magical stay “ photos don’t do it justice!” This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The space is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by lush, green rainforest through large windows that make you feel totally immersed in nature. It’s warm, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, with lots of comfy blankets and towels, and everything was clean. Everything worked perfectly. The house has this amazing, peaceful energy that’s hard to put into words, you just feel good being there. Great, quick and polite communication. It’s also just minutes from one of the best walks on the island, the stunning killarney lake. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Neo & Sky's place is a great small oasis in the Forrest, with lots of love for small details and cozy cabins. We had a great stay! The open kitchen concept and showers give it a natural touch, though I guess when it gets colder it could be more inconvenient. hence, perfect place for the summer months!

Mary was a lovely host — friendly and easy to communicate with. The Miner’s Cabin is in a quiet spot with a great setup and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient, and the place has a nice, laid-back vibe. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay!

This place is so relaxing right at the ocean and it's so great to watch the wildlife an listen to the ocean!!!

Patti & Corrine’s place was exactly what we were looking for. You have a wonderful view of the ocean through the trees. Though there are other houses around you, it felt very private. There cottage is surrounded by trees & open grass to walk around. Waking up & ending the day to the sounds of birds was beautiful. We even saw a fawn on the property. They do have two cats which we only saw once & they were very friendly. The beach is a 2 min walk down a quiet street. The cottage itself is my dream home. It’s simple but homey. We loved the personal decor & book selections about the area & wildlife. We slept with the windows open to let in the cool ocean air. In the mornings I stood in the living room watching the sunrise through the giant window. I could have moved into their cottage if it was allowed. It was perfect. Patti was also wonderful at giving suggestions of things to do & explaining the ins & outs of the cottage. I highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it!

Perfect get away for my fiancé and I! Very private area surrounded by a beautiful forest and a great view of the cove. Vlado was very responsive and helpful, even recommended places to grocery shop in the area and an amazing Mexican restaurant! Great cabin with modern amenities including a bath. Looking forward to visiting again.

My dog and I had a wonderful stay at Cheyenne's for the weekend! She was super friendly and welcoming. Even though the space is on a property with Cheyenne's home and other cottages, it felt private and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable! And the infrared sauna was such a nice treat. As it was winter, the trails were so quiet which was lovely. We will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the local lakes :)

This log cabin was amazing!!! We were shocked at how beautiful the cabin itself and the surrounding area was. Margaret was an incredible host— she was so kind and provided lots of blankets and coffee and snacks and wood for the fire place which was a nice treat. The cabin was super cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom and kitchen specifically were stocked which was very useful because we were coming from out of town without many things. The property was beautiful and we saw deer and lots of bunnies, and there are dozens of trails to check out within walking distance. Some of the prettiest sceneries I’ve ever seen!! Would definitely recommend this cabin, it was a lot nicer than it even looks in the photos :)

Incredibly well appointed house! It had everything we needed, and I really appreciated the condiments in the fridge. We each slept extremely well on the comfy beds, and linens were really nice. I will definitely try to stay here again next time we're in the area. The only tricky thing I can comment on is pretty minor: backing a truck down the steep-ish driveway wasn't the most fun 😅 Overall, absolutely lovely place. Thank you!!
