What a beautiful stay in the idyllic Indiana country! We loved the home and the location. The home is cozy and has everything you need. Just an FYI: if you’re traveling with multiple people just be aware that the home is very open concept and the extra beds are all in the same area together so there is not a lot of privacy if that’s what you require. But if you need a home base as you explore rural Indiana it is a perfect stay!

This was hands-down one of the most charming and comfortable stays I've ever had! The house was absolutely adorable—with thoughtful finishing touches throughout, extra space in the cupboards, and the cutest patio and hot tub to relax in. The shower? Probably the nicest one I've ever used—truly spa-like! I kept walking around just gushing about how much I loved the place. The neighborhood had such unique character and charm, unlike any small town I’ve visited before. It felt safe and welcoming, which meant a lot to me as I was traveling a long distance with my two pre-teen children for a wedding. Karen was the kindest and most accommodating host—so warm and responsive. I can't recommend this stay enough!

Very nice place. Exactly as described. Brenda was great to work with and allowed me to check in early when a snowstorm canceled my job for the day. Appreciate the hospitality!

There a some folks that might over-look a place like the Country Cottage but I am sure glad that my country-girl radar spotted this diamond in the rough. It was tranquil, with modern amenities of WiFi and cable. We appreciated having family together for a few days to enjoy the outdoor BBQ (We got the gas grill cooking!), the space to sit around a family dinner table and watch movies. Laundry was an added bonus too to clean and pack back up clothes and the ironing board came in handy for a semi-formal family affair in nearby Rushville. Our dog Floyd had everything a dog could want; a big yard to explore, creek to splash-in and all the smells of nature to sniff out. I truly hope to return one-day to visit our family again or to add it as a stop on our next motorcycle excursion. Thank you to our hostess and family for making it feel like home, we hope you enjoy the lovely floral bouquet we left behind as they were certain to not make long twelve hour trip back home.

Wonderful little getaway! We went for the Airbnb itself, and really enjoyed the arcade, hot tub, smart TV, snack bar, popcorn machine (which has directions printed on it in case you don't know how to operate one), and spent a lot of time making fun recipes in the kitchen. There was also a well-stocked Keurig coffee bar, filled ice trays in the freezer, and plenty of cooking and baking tools. The decorations and furniture are very fun and colorful. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic! (Even though the outside temperature dropped below freezing during our stay.) The beds were very comfortable, and there were extra blankets and pillows to go around. And lots of little lamps and night lights around if you want them. There was also a lovely little vanity in the master bedroom that was a pleasant surprise. Sean was extremely responsive, and responded immediately any time we had a question about something. 11/10 would recommend, and maybe even go again!

We loved spending the weekend here! We did a girls weekend getaway and loved the place so much we'll be making it an annual thing. We plan to bring our kiddos in the summer so they can experience the water toys and hottub! Loved how close to Hagerstown town it was and the hosts were wonderful to work with. Overall a really great place and experience
