We loved Pablo’s place. Everything was neat, tidy and clean. Super flexible check in and it was on Easter Day which makes it even more amazing! I would definitely recommend it and stay again next time in Newark!

This was one of the nicest AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. If you are not English this is s classic English country home. Beautiful y done with more than a nod to tradition. If you are English this is the above but also as nice as s spa. We loved the claw foot bath tub and the 4 poster bed with luxurious bedding. This is a place to relax. Nikki was delightful and the breakfast was luxurious. It was a great experience

We was there as my son had his graduation. The place was lovely felt home from home. Both ladies Jamiee but I forgot the other lady’s name (forgive me) was absolutely fantastic and professional. Very patient, courteous and very attentive. The home cooked breakfast was exceptional and very filling, we were spoilt for choice. The rooms were very cosy, super clean and comfortable cannot fault it. Definitely would recommend this guest house, a wonderful stay. Didn’t want to go home! Thank you so much.

Beautiful house in a lovely village. Very close to the racetrack and the town with ships and everything in the area. Beautiful surroundings and garden. Wonderful host, welcoming and helpful, made the stay great. Highly recommend and will be back to visit!

We booked this last minute and we were blown away by the beautiful room, attention to detail like blankets and treats for the dogs, homemade cakes on arrival and delicious breakfast that was cooked for us early as we had to leave by 7:45am. Nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding are peaceful and a countryside delight. The en-suite shower room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back.

Everything is splendid about this place. The setting is magnificent: a hilltop above the lush Derwent Valley, with a family of deer frequenting the estate, mist rising over the Derwent River, lush groves of birch and other trees extending across rolling fields. Owner Peter Kay and his family have done a remarkable job renovating the old gabled mansion, filling it with tasteful furnishings and fittings and an array of antiques that conjure up its days as the summer estate of the Nightingales -- Florence, her sister, and parents- during much of the nineteenth century. Peter is a fount of information about the legendary nurse and social reformer and her life in rural England, and, following an excellent breakfast prepared by his wife, he led me on an invigorating morning walk, both along the river and on the carriage trails that Florence's father had constructed in the surrounding forest. For both those with special interest in Florence Nightingale and those seeking a serene and beautiful retreat in Derbyshire, I can't recommend Lea Hurst highly enough.

I only stopped here for one night but it was perfect for what I needed. Lots of lovely little touches, such as a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, along with hand sanitiser and shower gel. Richard was very welcoming after I arrived slightly later than I had planned and gave me all the information that I needed for my stay. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area!

Jackie and Richard's place was as described and pictures are accurate. Jackie met us on arrival and explained everything to us. Made an excellent recommendation for dinner. Everything very clean and tidy. Would recommend.

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie’s residence for 2 weeks. She’s one of the best hosts one could hope for, as she’s very responsive and kind. The place was as advertised, private and peaceful. The breakfast spread was a delight as the jams and honey were organic. Marie and her husband were wonderful hosts and I look forward to seeing them again.

It was an incredible experience, and the perfect get away. The wife loved the room, the window view, and the fact it's a working farm too. We only met Charlie who was really welcoming, genuine and made our stay personal. We will definitely go again. Thank you Sarah and James

Great stay in the "pig sty". Spotlessly clean, bed was very comfy. It was quite hot when we stayed so was very grateful for the fan that was provided. Sweet treats and stuff to make breakfast was nice addition

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay. So very kind allowing us to check out a little later too. We have finally found where we are going to stay when we come up to visit family. It has been hard to find a quiet, peaceful relaxing place until now. The perfect place and thank you so much. A&P x

Newly renovated Old Pub done with nice taste. Lovely room and bathroom with great shower. Breakfast included was great, good atmosphere in the Pub and local community. Would not hesitate in re booking!

I loved my stay but if you are not horsey and/or aware of their requirements eg evening and morning feeds then you might want to think about a stay here - you are literally in the Stables - what is not to love and the hosts are very up front on this. The facilities are lovely, clean and very comfortable with excellent wifi. I don't eat breakfast but was on a course where we needed to take our own lunch. Charlotte provided a lunch instead and a good range of tea etc in the room. It is a really lovely setting, can't state on breakfast and if you are very tall you might find it a bit restrictive but I am an absolute shorty and it was like a home from home. Thank you Charlotte

Absolutely lovely place . Really recommend. Staff and food amazing. Room so clean and cosy. Location perfect . I’d like to mention one special person in the pub downstairs … was a guy behind the bar (Barry? )really helpful and we’re totally impressed by his hospitality and kindness 🫶❤️Definitely will be back in the future. From the moment I pulled up besides the pub I knew I was in for a treat ! The locals were very friendly and I immediately felt at home! Checking was easy and I followed a couple of guys up a couple of flights to my room ( they worked there and the football banter was good) My room was…. Wow very nice and ever so clean! I had a great stop over and I didn’t want to get up ! When I came down for breakfast , I was greeted by a very pleasant young chap and as I ordered he couldn’t do enough for me! My breakfast was excellent! And finally I bumped into the lady whom keeps the rooms in tip top prestige condition! I could clearly see by her atire and attitude that she was on the ball I believe her name was Kate Thank you all ! Glenn
