Jenny came to the property shortly after our arrival and spent considerable time talking about the short history of the house and the area and surrounds. The house, which is off-the-grid, is easy to get to but once there you feel peacefully isolated. An ideal escape from the city. The kitchen-living area is very spacious and well laid out. The master bedroom with ensuite and walk in robes is very functional. Highly recommend.

The house was just perfect for what we wanted. We enjoyed the outside balcony with BBQ and outdoor table. With sheep, cows and a Shetland pony staying in the next paddock. The view was beautiful. The train track that ran past was of interest and now in anyway annoying. House was very tidy and had everything that you need from shampoo, conditioner, plenty of toilet paper, towels, all the kitchen gear you would every need. Big TV not that we turned it on at all. There was wi-fi but we didn't use it as the area had service. We felt secure in the property as it was behind a gate. We were visiting Puckapunyal so it was nice and close. Nearby is Seymour and it's a well serviced town with supermarkets. Karen and Darryl met us on site for check in and were really lovely people and we chatted for a while. Karen showed me around the property and pointed out what we might need. We didn't see them again until we were driving out of the property on Sunday at 10am. We will stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at Belinda’s place! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable time. The location was perfect, and we loved being able to explore the area with ease. Belinda was an absolute pleasure to deal with – she was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful, quiet weekend away at Daniel’s place! We booked last minute, and Daniel was quick to respond, making everything easy. The place was spotless, in a peaceful spot, and we especially loved watching the horses out the window. A perfect weekend escape—highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Shona's thoughtful touches. She had the aircon running before our arrival, which was a refreshing welcome. The bread, milk, and kitchen facilities were perfect and made settling in so much easier. We didn't have to worry about getting supplies right away. Highly recommend!

We had a relaxing break away and felt right at home at Tayla’s place. The beds were comfy. The house was spacious and there were 7 of us. Plenty of room for all! The kitchen had everything we needed for making dinner. The house was clean and tidy and a walk from to the center of town. The air con’s in the bedrooms were hugely appreciated as it was a hot weekend. Tayla was a fantastic communicator - we would love to stay again. Thanks so much for having us!

What a beautiful place to disconnect from the busyness of life and connect with nature. The cottage is fascinating-beautifully presented and felt cosy and welcoming. We saw lots of kangaroos, wallabies and rosellas which delighted the kids. Kate was a great host- very organised, responsive and the instructions were excellent so we found it stress free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again.
