This place was outstanding! Even though it’s in a small city that is rural it made us feel right at home. It was far away from a few things, but the people surrounding us were nothing but friendly and helpful. The house itself was a beauty and definitely gave a vintage feel, just like described. They even have site recommendations of places to go around the area and with a drive, on the kitchen counter! The hostess was very responsive and friendly as well :)

you will enjoy sun soaking on the upper balcony porch, kicking back. there is a 70s funky vibe inside. orange cabinets, eclectic wallpaper. I would definitely return here. no hassle. and there is a friendly neighbor woman who was planting seeds and feeding her cat outside (lives in the Victorian house) who gives helpful instructions on things to do in town if you run into her.

Perfect spot to spend the night on the way to Colorado! The house was so clean and well organized!

We had a great time here! Everything was clean and organized, and it had everything we needed! The batteries in the tv remote went dead right when we got there, and she sent some over right away, and we were good to go! We will be back!

My work team came to town for a retreat, and we spent the week in this beautiful home! It was absolutely lovely, extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The hosts were very responsive and so helpful! Looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful place if you want peace away from busy life in city. You can see 28 miles to horizon that is mostly empty. There are several wildlife refuse around, great for enjoying nature. We had mostly cloudy days but one night was clear watched spectacular night sky. Host was great. They built the house themselves, awesome job. The place has all that a couple need for few days of tranquillity. We will go there again.

The stay was just what I needed for refreshment on a business trip. There were lots of teas, fresh filtered water and multiple beds to choose from. When I forgot my hairdryer, she was gracious to bring one to me and I found her and the home to be both accommodating and welcoming. I look forward to the next time I am in the area to book another stay.

We booked The Goode Home last minute as we needed a place to stay as we were passing through on our way to Missouri. It is exactly as described, beds were comfy and everything was neat and tidy. Very affordable and accommodating for our family!
