What a beautiful and peaceful place. We're definitely coming back. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of Joburg. Tajbeir is amazing! What a great host. We felt right at home.

Our group had a fantastic long weekend getaway at this lovely house! The location was perfect for a relaxing escape, offering a truly tranquil environment that allowed us to unwind and recharge. Access to moderate hiking trails right from the property. These trails were not only beautiful but also very well-maintained, making them enjoyable for everyone in our group, regardless of hiking experience. Overall, the combination of the peaceful atmosphere, the excellent hiking trails, and the warm hospitality made this house a perfect choice for our weekend retreat. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

Staying at Tranquillity Lodge felt like visiting family—the kind of family who actually makes you feel welcome. From the moment we arrived, Melanie made sure we were comfortable, like we were old friends rather than guests. She didn’t just hand over the keys and disappear; she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, even running out to grab a few essentials we’d forgotten. The lodge itself was spotless, well-organized, and had everything for a self-catering stay. But what really made it special was the personal touch. Melanie gave us a full tour of the property, making sure we didn’t miss the best parts—especially the Rock Pools (seriously, don’t skip them!). She also loaded us up with recommendations for places to explore when we come back. And we will be back. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is it. No stress, no fuss—just pure relaxation and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel right at home.

Lovely place with a nice outside shower. My friends and I enjoyed our stay and the house had everything we needed in terms of catering. Would recommend.

It was our second stay within a few weeks. We stayed in Puschka Writers Cottage this time. I have already booked our next stay for December can't wait. We simply love this place it's a definite YES everyone has to go and enjoy Linda's wonderful hospitality.
