Our stay was absolutely just what our family needed. We cannot recommend this home and our hosts enough! From the relaxing views to the amazing amenities to the fully furnished kitchen with everything and more one would need. The perfect place for people with a big group with plenty of space to stretch out and not be on top of each other. The game room, movie theater, hot tub and outdoor lounge areas were our family favorites. In a perfect location for all different kinds of adventures, activities, and hikes. We would definitely book again!

My girlfriends and I stayed at this beautiful NC house and we loved it!! It was a nice way to get away from the city and have a relaxing weekend full of board games, baking Halloween cookies and treating ourselves to an in house spa night. The house was so beautiful and we were obsessed with all the themed rooms. The hot tub was of course a hit! The house is also near great hiking spots. We did a hike inside the neighborhood and we also went to Chimney Rock State Park, which isn’t far from the house. We ended our weekend at the neighborhood restaurant which had plenty of yummy food options and beautiful scenery to take lots of photos at! We absolutely loved in and would go back again!

This house is absolutely incredible. Tucked high in the mountains near Catawba Falls, but just 20 minutes from Black Mountain, it is secluded and peaceful with all the amenities you could need. Our group of 7 has lots of room to spread out, with multiple balconies front and back for admiring the sweeping mountain views. We made liberal use of the pool table and loved the large kitchen for family meals. They really thought of every detail, with plenty of essentials like paper towels and dish soap as well as nice touches like a large stack of towels for the hot tub. I would definitely stay at this property any time I'm in the area!

We had such a great time at Jennifer's Top of the Hill property! It is in a charming location, just a 15 minute drive from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure but also tucked away enough to feel secluded. All three buildings were well-equipped with supplies as well as comfortable and easy to access. We spent every night around the firepit and enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal around the large dining room table. We attended with 8 adults and 4 kids and felt like there was enough space for everyone. Jennifer was kind enough to allow us early check-in since our flight arrived in the late morning. We hope to come back again someday!

Beautiful property and stunning views. My husband and I enjoyed every second of it. My dog loved all the freedom, none of us wanted to leave.

Great beautiful home , with amazing surroundings. The lounging area and amenities were top notch and very relaxing by the waterfall. We will definitely book this property again when we return to Lake Lure. So convenient to get to.

Wonderful time with family…Plenty of room to sprawl out in this lovely home…with porches and game room and family room and the large dining table for games….with lots of seating. The hot tub was hot and clean…We loved sitting in it at night and looking at the stars. Our hosts were super…checking in on us. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans and cookery needed. Also we appreciated the various spices left for our use. There are a lot of steps, so beware!

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

My family and I had amazing time celebrating our birthdays at Jon’s cabin. Not only was the cabin prefect, Jon was very helpful with check in and all the help we needed during our stay. Time to time check ins during our stay was also very thoughtful and helpful. It was perfect place for our family and we felt right at home.

Beautiful cabin - everything was picture perfect and we felt welcomed from the moment we drove up. Home was warm and inviting. Everything was ready to go, and fully stocked. The views were gorgeous. The decor was beautiful with attention to detail. Our kids loved the loft in particular. Unfortunately, the roads to Lake Lure were still closed, but we still found so many wonderful hiking opportunities. Kaitlyn and Blake were extremely responsive. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this cabin.

We had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The space was incredibly clean, well-decorated, dog friendly and equipped with everything you needed. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Will definitely return!

Words can’t begin to describe these incredible and amazing people. My husband and I were at Chimney Rock celebrating our honeymoon at Brett and Pam’s place when Hurricane Helene hit. Unprecedented isn’t the right word, but all I can think of. This cabin was literally our shelter from the storm and Pam and Brett were there for us every moment as they were going through their own devastation. The people of Chimney Rock are the most special community you will ever meet. We will do everything we can to support them and will be back as they begin to rebuild. We were just visitors as the whole town went through a catastrophic event, but feel forever connected to and invested in the town of Chimney Rock. Brett and Pam, thank you for opening your beautiful home to us, and for creating a sense of safety, community, and care. You are forever friends and will forever be a part of our lives.

Thank you, Shealy, for a great stay! The house was not only spotless, but beautifully decorated as well. We felt right at home with all of the thoughtful touches like the fire starters and wood for the fire pit, the sound machine by the bed, and the dog bowls for our pooch. We also appreciated the recommendations for local attractions and really enjoyed the ones we tried. All in all, a great place to stay!

Toni was responsive and accommodating at all times. The property is very pristine and private. Absolutely gorgeous in the winter so I’m sure even more impressive in the spring and summer months.

I stayed at this house with some friends for a rock climbing trip, and it was the perfect location. Only a 6min drive from Rumbling Bald, this spot was very well located for our climbing desires. The view from the deck and hot tub were amazing.

Wonderful view, clean and super relaxing. Loved the separated king rooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. Great for two couples. If you had kids with you the downstairs had two more bedrooms that would’ve been great for kids. Hot tub was great. Only downside to the place is the distance from things if you want to go out at all. We decided to be relaxed and stay in a bunch so it was great. We had rainy weather but did the short waterfall hike in the subdivision one day. It was easy and enjoyable. Took less than an hour. Katrina was very responsive. Overall a great Airbnb!
