My stay at this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. Though I never met April and Derek in person, they were incredibly attentive and responsive to any enquiries, making everything seamless. The house itself was stunning, well-equipped with great amenities, and set in a peaceful, scenic location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

The rental property was absolutely fantastic! It was impeccably clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. The privacy offered was a huge plus, allowing us to relax without any disturbances. Plus, the beautiful scenery surrounding the property was breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for our getaway. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Margarets hospitality is beyond anything ive witnessed in my life. We stayed during hurricane Helene. Not only did she take care of every possible need in the beginning days before the hurricane, but when we escaped via helicopter and made it to her hometown she even offered up her own house for us to take refuge when all the hotels were booked and cooked dinner for us. Not saying you will have the same luxury, but this is the highest caliber person you could possibly do business with. The property has the most beautiful views I've ever seen in my life and the house is so immaculate, there is nowhere I'd rather be in the midst of disaster or a relaxing vacation. I literally experienced both. I will be coming back with a quickness as soon as the town is rebuilt, and the property was very resilient and mostly undamaged through the brutal storm, the elevation allows for protection against any flash floods. But yes the house is incredible and hosts very attentive to needs

Beautiful view of Chimney Rock from the boat house and wonderful swimming spot. It was so nice to relax in the hot tub for a bit then jump in the cool lake. Kayaks, paddle boards, and noodles were an added delight. I hope to return next summer.

Do not think twice about this cabin rental. The home is absolutely perfect! The kitchen has everything you need (spices, oil, tools, space, keurig, drip, all the things you hope it will have when you show up) The couch is incredibly comfortable. The beds too are amazing. Main bathroom has a very modern shower and toilet. But most of all the deck and the view are worth every penny. We spent most of our time reading and drinking coffee from the chairs on the deck. And it was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a brief issue with a power outage but a) they have a generator that automatically turned on and b) the owner was proactively communicative to let us know and kept tabs that we were okay and when the power went back on. Wish we could have stayed longer. Rent it for a day or two longer because you won’t want to leave. Thank you to Susie and the team who hosted us, we had exactly the trip we needed
