Frank was excellent about the whole trip - arranged parking for us, offered an early check in when he understood we’d be arriving in Whittlesey earlier than the listed check in, very fast response to a question about where to find an extra duvet, and very friendly throughout. Staying at the bottom of Sue's beautiful garden felt very private and peaceful. Table and chairs to sit out and enjoy sun and comfy country cottage style inside. The property has a lovely bedroom with comfy bed and ensuite, the sitting area and kitchen are combined and the kitchen is very well stocked and spacious (not a small kitchenette like in some small properties). Location is amazing, a beautiful village with multiple thatched cottages. We enjoyed short walks along the river and across the fields (to the Black Horse pub which has good food menu and great outdoor beer garden looking over the fields). Sue was very friendly and happy to help. A great find for a last minute escape from London.

The cottage, situated in the centre of the lovely village of Great Bowden, was absolutely perfect for all our needs. Extremely well equipped, warm and very welcoming. A wonderful kitchen/dining area…..just right for our family. The sun shining on the glitter ball, in the garden, gave an amazing light display ~ our granddaughter was absolutely mesmerised! Many, many thanks 🤩

Danny is a very friendly and proactive host. I received all instruction how to find him in advance and he was very flexible and responsive all the time. I had a private bathroom and my tea in the morning. Highly recommended.

A lovely hidden gem, my partner and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Comfortable bed, super clean, quiet and lovely views. Sarah our host was very accommodating and just great! We appreciated the complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and butter! Just the perfect touch!

I booked Gary's place for a overseas work colleague who enjoyed his stay very much. The property was as descricesd and Gary was a very friendly and responsive host. We would recommend.

I stayed for two weeks whilst on business in Peterborough. Great flat, perfect location and restaurants and shops close by - highly recommended. Would definitely book again if need arises.

Alex is a fantastic host the cottage was outstanding very cosy and extremely peaceful beautiful views from the cottage. Alex has thought of everything you would possibly need for your stay. Very enjoyable.

This is a gem settled in beautiful country side where all you can hear is the birds. The cottage is of high standard, with everything you need, really beautifully decorated & a lovely feeeling of calm,the only regret is, I didn't book 2 nights. Will definitely being going back.

We had a lovely time at Jane's place. It was very peaceful and everything was very comfortable. Jane and Phil were very friendly and went the extra mile to make everything run smoothly. Lovely to see a working farm and the great open spaces.

Another lovely stay in a really comfy room. Nice quiet location. Parking by the house was full but it was easy to park on the main street less than a walk up to the house. Warm comfortable bed and super fast WiFi. As always with booking a room in a house it's a gamble with who is staying in the other rooms, First time I stayed everyone was quiet at night this time one of the other guests was watching TV quite loudly at 5am. overall pleased with my stay and I'd be happy to come again.
