In the churchyard, neighbouring the award winning and brilliant Railway Inn, this 18th century Ketton stone cottage is a very special place to come and stay with friends and family. We have the Rutland Vineyard, a village stores, it is near Rutland Water, there are fab local walks, a great food scene, and there is Burghley House in Stamford, “England’s most attractive town” according to John Betjeman. For me, it is like the Loire and Cotswold towns, but friendlier and with fewer Range Rovers.

The Shepherd's Wing Rural Retreat

The Shepherd's Wing Retreat is a self-contained, independent, first floor apartment within the main farmhouse. Accessed via an external spiral staircase, its rooms command some of the finest views of the farm across the rolling hills of Rutland and Leicesterhire. This is a generous and comfortable space. Although it has no dedicated outside space, there are long walks to be enjoyed and of course our wonderful Farm Shop is nearby full of great treats to be enjoyed here or when you return home.

Comfy Modern APT - Sleeps 4

Located in the centre of the Historic Market Town of Uppingham. Based in is heart of the small county of Rutland. This apartment is a stones throw away to the gorgeous town centre, with markets every Friday, great places to eat and drink and some really cute little shops. A quick 10 minute drive to another Market Town of Oakham and not far from Rutland Water where you can enjoy some beautiful scenic walks. The apartment offers an allocated parking space and communal paved garden.

Idyllic Thatched Country Cottage - a hidden gem!

Situated in the picturesque village of Wing, this adorable thatched cottage is nestled in the grounds of beautiful Cedar House. The property was fully renovated in March 2021 and is the ideal getaway location to explore everything that stunning Rutland has to offer. The cottage is only 5 minute drive to Rutland Water, Uppingham and Oakham, so you have everything you wish to experience during your stay on your doorstep. Historic Stamford is also only 20 mins away.

Townhouse - centre of Stamford

This lovely quaint house is in the centre of Stamford, on the doorstep of shops, cafes and restaurants. It is comfortable and well equipped for four people; one bedroom is a double and the other can be made up with two small singles or a kingsize bed. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and separate shower and the kitchen is well equipped with all usual appliances. Stamford is known for Burghley House (and horse trials) and is close to beautiful countryside.

Self-contained Studio annexe in Oakham.

Lovely studio, has its own entrance at the front of house and access to back garden through the patio doors in the room. Recently added a shower in the studio so it is completely self contained now. Small kitchen area with sink and a full size fridge, and a washing machine if needed. There is one double bed in the studio, but also a self inflating single air bed with bedding if required. Smoking is not allowed throughout the property .

Cosy stone cottage 5 minutes walk from town centre

This delightful 200 year old stone cottage is a short walk from the centre of Stamford with its pubs, shops and beautiful stone architecture. It is listed for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, but has an additional convertible bed settee, allowing a maximum of 6. The tv has Sky and Amazon Prime. Beautiful Conversion in Rutland Countryside

Come and stay in our lovingly converted barn in the middle of the Rutland countryside. Perfect for a quiet get-away with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. Set in a 3 acre plot of our family home, you will have access to a private garden at the rear of the property plus our orchard should you wish to bring 1 small - medium sized dog with you. Unfortunately, the property is not suited to large dogs.
