We had a lovely family time, despite some dodgy weather. Great space for the two young grandchildren (and the dog!) Katie was an excellent communicator with very quick and helpful responses to any query. Really appreciated that she could be flexibie with check in/out. If you like pizzas I'd recommend La Pergola (stone baked pizzas) which is a five minute drive away and they do take away pizzas to collect. Looks very good place to eat in as well.

Rachel and Jay were really lovely hosts. They made me feel at home straight away and were really helpful, giving me recommendations for what to do on the island. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. I hired a bike and cycled around the island, which was lovely and the shop was super close to Rachel and Jay's house. I am definitely going to return 😊

Lovely clean property and a stone throw from the village high street which had lovely Pubs and shops. Lovely area to walk your dogs if you have any. Throughly enjoyable stay

We had a great stay and will return again in the future i'm sure. The caravan was spotless, in a great location and Roxanne was very helpful and responded quickly with any questions we had.

Liz and Max were really helpful and the room was just what I was expecting. Clean room and bathroom. Great value, will definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay. The barn was beautiful. The beds were really comfortable. The welcome hamper was amazing, cracking wine 🍷 🙏🏻 Alison was friendly and checks in on us while giving us plenty of space too. A really great base to explore West Sussex and Hampshire. Easy to find and tons to do locally. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙏🏻

Lovely lemon cottage! It was perfect location and the cottage was nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Mel was always friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that. The house was cozy with pretty decorations, there were lots of encouraging positive "pictures" about life. I dare say a luxurious shower. It was also very nice that I was offered cereal with milk for breakfast. I took advantage of that and it was delicious. I am grateful for this accommodation!

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment right by the sea and a pleasant 40 minute walk to the historic dockyard. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for a short stay for two people, with plenty of pubs and places to eat to choose from in the nearby area, we would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble, Hythe village is walkable and the apartment was lovely - extremely well appointed and even better than the photos.

We had a relaxing couple of nights at Jehu Tait's lovely apartment in Woolston. The location was very quiet and relaxing, with amenities within walking distance, and the apartment itself was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Jehu was friendly, responsive and prompt with communication and answering questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely few days at Eileen’s place. The apartment is large and well decorated, perfect for a family or group of friends. The bedrooms are all of a comfortable size and have great views of the sea. The living room is spacious and good for gathering. Eileen left some food and drink for us in the kitchen when we arrived which was great after a long trip. It was easy to get into the flat when we arrived, there are a couple flights of stairs. Car parking is directly outside the flat. Eileen was really communicative and helpful with any questions we had before and during our visit. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Ventnor.

This Penthouse apartment has an incredible view of the Solent and harbour entrance. The apartment is well laid out with a large lounge where you can sit and watch the shipping movements. Pamela was there to welcome us and she was flexible about our departure time. We were grateful for the grocery provisions provided such as milk, bread and breakfast cereals. The central heating kept the apartment warm despite the cold weather outside. The apartment is in an ideal location to explore Old Portsmouth. The Historic Dockyard is walkable in one direction and the other way you can walk along the promenade to Southsea castle. We can recommend The Canteen for a hearty breakfast which is only 5 minutes walk away.

This is a seaside gem. We felt so welcomed and comfortable with every amenity we might need as well as delightful welcome treats. John and Wendy are thoughtful hosts and we felt privileged to stay in their Southsea flat and enjoy the safe and walkable neighbourhood and seafront promenade. We didn't want to leave!

Outstanding! Julia and Steve’s hospitality was incredible and we couldn’t have felt more at home in their beautiful house. The breakfast was delicious and the location was ideal to explore the area and get to some great pubs. Would love to come back at some point!

We travel to the Island regularly to visit elderly relatives and usually fit the trip in to one day. Now that we've found this lovely Air BNB we will make more of a holiday and stay overnight. Pip was so very welcoming. The room was beautiful, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The pantry was well stocked and Pip had even provided us with wine for our arrival (and Savignon Blanc .. my absolute favourite!) The bed was amazingly comfortable and the shower was steaming hot. All in all a great experience from start to finish. We ate at The Vine in the village which was nice. They had live music on which made for a good atmosphere. We walked down to the beach in the morning and went back with our relatives for a cuppa at the cafe the following day. We will be back!

Great stay in a private and cosy room. Beautiful surroundings and easy to access a lot of great places in the New Forest!

Hot tub was amazing along with bbq and fire pit and there was nothing you wouldn’t do for us honestly, you were both so kind with every thing you done for us the last 2 nights, so unexpected but amazing! And those croissants were sooo good, nice and hot mmm lovely to wake you to! Will come back again soon. Hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day Angie. ☺️❤️

Liz and Steve were friendly and helpful from initial contact. They are always responsive and helpful. Even gave us heads up about weather for our arrival and daylight saving time change. Their lovely place is just as described. We cycled from there to New Forest and to West Quay. There’s everything you might need close by. Super and we look forward to returning!! Such a wonderful, inviting and accommodating couple. Ellie was great, such clear communication and very helpful. The way to the room is quite narrow so something to be mindful of but if you don’t mind a squeeze the room is well worth it and such lovey hosts. Breakfast was lovely!

Had a lovely stay. Melissa and Jonathon were very welcoming, the room and shower room were up a little staircase so it felt private and that we weren't disturbing others. Jonathon gave us an excellent recommendation for food in town and showed us the way through the beautiful groto that is their garden all lit with fairy lights. The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious and set us up for our Coastal Path walk perfectly.

It was a last minute panic for us to find somewhere to stay due to a weekend event taking place and we needed to change our accommodation. We found Briar Glenn and the price was very reasonable for such a busy weekend. It did not disappoint. The accommodation was a family room and was superb for us in every way. Everything from hosts who were warm, friendly and helpful, to a superb full English which is served at weekends in their kitchen. Jane and Graham treated us like proper guests with a bit of chat and banter whilst cooking breakfast. It really was a B&B experience that makes you wish more of them could be like. Thank you Jane and Graham. Sorry you didn’t get to see the ISS this morning!
