A great house, well laid out with great amenities and ideal location to get in to Buxton and surrounding areas.

A lovely place to stay. Really good value. Superb location. Kitchen is very well equipped. No parking in front of the house but only short 50m walk to the car. High chair and cot and kids bowls in the kitchen make it helpful. 2 minute walk into town.

Had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Will definitely be back as we loved it so much. The lodge was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! Stunning lodge, big private garden and beautiful, quiet surroundings. Easy check in and check out too. Host is helpful and responsive. 10/10 stay!

My entire family absolutely loved this place! The house is spacious & modern. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and there was plenty of closet space in each bedroom, making it perfect for a comfortable stay. The living area was a highlight, with incredibly cozy couches and a huge TV that made relaxing even better. Having a bathroom on each floor was a fantastic convenience- especially for my mom & toddler. Dani was a wonderful host—warm, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful. She even stocked the fridge with milk and bread, which was such a kind and hospitable gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this place! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s even better in person! If ever I am in Leeds again, I will be staying here.

Stayed for my mums 50th birthday, the views are amazing & the house is stunning! Beds are really comfy the place had everything we needed for our short trip away, would love to stay again!

The perfect place for a romantic week away for rest and relaxation. Everything we needed, plus a lovely log burner for cosy evenings. Loved the chickens, despite being bullied by them several times a day! Bridget is lovely, quick to respond while never being intrusive, the ideal host. If you are wavering about whether to book this cottage -don't! You won't regret time spent in this beautiful part of the country.

An amazing few days away, the cottage nice and warm, spotlessly clean,tranquil and the tonic we both needed, the EV charger a winner, made it so easy as we got back each night to charge, beautiful location with great onsite amenities, a little community and close to all the places we wanted to visit, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Matlock, Chatsworth - kitchen had all the mod-cons and although we didn’t use the honesty shop, well stocked for the items you’ve forgot - a big thankyou, hope to return, next time we’ll have more time to climb the mountain !

Such a great place to stay. The lodge is lovely and absolutely spotless. The views from the hot tub are amazing. We didn’t know if we’d left the hot tub on the right setting so when informing Pip, she came and checked this for us and didn’t mind to do so. And only a short walk to Marsden village which is a lovely little place. Would definitely come again, thanks so much!
