Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso donde compartimos un fin de semana acompañado de perros y naturaleza, un lugar acogedor para ir en grupo o en pareja muy espacioso en la cocina equipada para preparar lo que nos gusta... Aun siendo pequeño para explorar, la compañía de los perros y lo hermoso de la vegetación hacen muy amena la estadía en un clima donde aunque hace frio la casa conserva muy bien el calor... Nos encantó el lugar

If you want a beautiful, tranquil place to stay, Cabinas Orosi is for you. I have stayed elsewhere in Orosi and roosters and motorcycles have woken me, but at Fredy and Franziska's cabina, street noise is not a problem. They have created a lovely oasis set just back enough to make you feel you are in a private garden but close enough to the center of the city to walk to grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants. The cabina itself is charming, clean, and tastefully decorated. Great hosts and a great place.

La estadia perfecta,tanto la llegada como durante la estadia la anfitriona siempre muy amable y atenta. La ubicacion muy centrica con paradas de bus cercanas y el residencial seguro. lo recomiendo

El lugar cumplió con lo que ocupábamos, un lugar para poder descansar, también tiene varios pluses que no hicimos uso, pero para alguien que tenga más tiempo son muy funcionales para entretenerse.

This place was much better than expected. The rooms were incredibly clean. There was a great pool and jacuzzi on the property as well. This place is also well gated which made us feel very safe. Wild definitely recommend staying here for a place to stay if you’re going through the airport!

We enjoyed staying at Cat’s and Yolanda’s home. Even though there is shared common areas, we felt very comfortable and private. Afternoon swims in the pool and lounging in the hot tub was relaxing. Quiet mornings in the upper deck were peaceful and you could hang out and enjoy the gorgeous valley view. We are fairly active so walks into town were very doable. Atenas has a good mix of tourists and locals and is a friendly town.

Lugar tranquilo y acogedor ! Hermosa vista

This is a great place to stay for the money. Walking distance to the center if San José, 10 minute walk to bus station to the airport, bus station to Nicaragua, bus station Pullman to Liberia. Walking distance to Parque Sabana. Isa is a wonderful hostess. Very peaceful energy in the house. Furia and Bruno are adorable dogs and very friendly (make sure you bring dog treats for them). Highly recommend Casa Nova. My room gives to a busy street but other rooms are to the back of the house. House is a charming 1960's construction.

It is a wonderful place next to a River. I really enjoyed my stay. Marianela was a great host. She even went shopping with me on my first day because I had no car. The property is located off any Traffic noise… but since it is quite close to the airport you hear the airplanes starting around 4:30 am. The hot tub only gets to 35 degrees C and takes a while to get warm . But it was still nice to relax in the horrible. I would come back!

Excelente ubicación, el trato de Leo muy amable y servicial. Un lugar súper lindo y tranquilo para relajarse sin ir muy lejos de San José. Y la propiedad hermosa en cada detalle, muy agradecidos por la atención.

Enjoyed my weekend stay at Luz’s. I loved all of the natural sunlight that the guesthouse receives. Very quiet neighbor and convenient location to the National University!

Luis’ place was just the right size for my husband and I. The place is so clean and modern and uncluttered. My hubby and I both have bad backs and the bed felt great! Luis and his wife and wonderful people and we enjoyed some great conversations with them. We hope to come back some day!

Excelente lugar, privado y pequeño pero cuenta con todo lo necesario y con unas vistas mu bonitas. Todo muy bien ordenado y con instrucciones bastante claras para ingresar al lugar y demás.

I had an incredible experience staying at this Airbnb in Alajuela, Costa Rica! The host is truly one of the most welcoming and hardworking people I've ever met. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. He went above and beyond to share local tips and ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does—running both an Airbnb and a mini market takes a lot of dedication, and it shows in the level of care and detail he puts into everything. His love for lovely cooking made the stay even more special—definitely ask him about local dishes! He speaks Spanish fluently, and his warm personality made communication easy and enjoyable. Plus, if you're into motorcycles, he's obsessed with Enduro biking and has some cool stories to share! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. I really appreciated how committed he was to helping out with anything I needed during my visit. His goal is clearly to make guests feel at home!

Even though we stayed only 1 night, we really enjoyed Dani and his wife's property, hospitality, and the stories they shared with us at the outdoor patio under the moonlight. Kids enjoyed watching the soccer game, then spent few hours playing in the field right at the property. The property is well maintained, clean, safe, and in a good neighborhood. He and his wife took few of us to the wholesale farmer market at night to hunt for the tropical fruits, especially the soursop (guanabana) per our request. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. One side of the property has 4 rooms with AC (6 single bunk beds in each) and 4 bathrooms. The other side has a kitchen and dining room; and few more rooms with fans only (and bunk beds) & bathrooms. Weather is cool down at night in March. Overall, everyone enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer. It will be our first choice to stay if we are back to San Jose. Thank you so much Dani and the Wife!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the mountain house. The indoor garden is beautiful with the open sky above it. Marvi was fabulous and so helpful! Vicky and Jorge made tómales for us one night and went above nasty beyond the call of duty!!! Thank you for a fantastic time. It was like part camping with great amenities!!!

We had an incredible visit to Costa Rica, and staying here was an absolute highlight! The design and interior of the casita, along with the layout of the deck and grounds, provide amazing views. Spectacular views of all of San Jose. Like 200 degree views! It was easy to just “take it all in”. We especially enjoyed afternoon snacks overlooking the city. The whole unit is super comfortable and serene, with a modern and warm Pura Vida vibe. We went to the neighborhood just down the hill for pizza dinner, and late morning coffees. The location felt super safe, quiet, and a good start or end point for visiting Costa Rica. Or heck, it would be great to just make this home and do shorter visits out and around the country. It would be amazing just to go back there each day for the peace, quiet, comfort, and of course, the views!!!

Alexandra is a super host and a very kind person. Her apartment is cozy, clean and we'll equipment with ever you need. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for some privacy. Alexandra's son Nicolas is super helpful and kind just like her as well. They made us feel righ at home along with her friendly dogs and one cat too. if you choose this place as your stay, you won't regret it.
