Nice place with awesome views of the mountains. The host was friendly and responsive.

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

这是我整个斯里兰卡行程住的最有情调的房子了！到的时候刚好是落日时分，站在大露台上可以看到灿烂的夕阳太阳缓缓落下！晚上对面的山上灯火辉煌，我们在躺椅上抬头可见看到满天的星星，简直不要太美！房间超级大，无敌干净，当然还有更加热情加热心的房东，开车带我们去逛超市！我们还在超大厨房做了晚饭和早饭。推荐给所有小伙伴，这就是feel home. This is a highly recommended place to all the friends. You can see the sunset here，you can see the bright lights in the evening,you also can see the stars in the sky. The room is big and clean. The host is hospitable.This is a gorgeous place.

I stayed at Riverside for 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The apartment is situated a few km out of Kandy in a small village, which is great as you get to experience real Sri Lankan life, I found the villagers very friendly, often stopping to chat to me. The bus to Kandy is just 10 mins walk away. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and with a wonderful large balcony perfect for eating and working. There's an outside plug so you can plug in your laptop. Hiran and family are lovely, Hiran is happy to help with any problems and the breakfast cooked by his wife is delicious and different most days. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and I'd stay again also being a solo woman traveller I felt safe at all times.

A lovely apartment with an amazing view! Spacial place, that has all that you need. A great place to stay. A wonderful family that helped us out, incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. Then to make it even better, Dayan is a wonderful person and guide. He showed us the sights of Kandy. Gave us some excellent advice and then based our tour on us. Thank you to all of you, for making our stay so memorable.

He made sure we felt at home and all our needs are met. The house is beautiful and spacious. The security was also very nice and helpful. If you’re looking for a safe and cozy place, this is it. We rented this place for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Place is very clean and all interior and furnitures were very comfortable. Situated in a very clam place perfect for long holiday with family

Monti en zijn ouders zijn zeer gastvrije mensen! Mijn vriend en ik hadden problemen met onze volgende accommodatie en ze boden ons aan om nog een nacht te blijven! Wij aten een avondmaal en een ontbijt hier, deze werd klaargemaakt door de ouders. Dit was echt een super lekker!!! Je kreeg ook wanneer je wou thee of koffie (gratis). De plek zelf is een verborgen parel, Monti gaf ons enkele tips over wat we konden bezoeken in de omgeving. Wij bezochten dan ook op aanraden van Monti een super mooie waterval! Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden zeker nog eens teruggaan naar hier!!!

We had such a delightful stay here, the host was very accommodating allowing us to book last minute with the help of the amazing house keepers. Felt very well looked after with all of our requests! The place has everything you need, filtered water, amazing views and air conditioning to name a few. We would highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed! Thanks again

Ein super Aufenthalt in Kandy. Ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom See entfernt und ca 10-15 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Sehr liebe und nette Gastgeber :) und ein super leckeres Frühstück! Für Tipps in der Umgebung steht der super liebe Manager Nimal zur Seite und die Hausdame, die mit im Haus wohnt versucht alles möglich zu machen, damit man sich wie Zuhause fühlt. Ganz lieben Dank! Stuti! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, sollten wir Sri Lanka nochmal besuchen. Liebe Grüße von der ganzen Familie :)

The apartment is really beautyful, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Located in a very rural neighbourhood, yet really close to Kandy it's a good base for exploring the city. Drivers beware that you need strong nerves to get the car into the Garage on a very steep slope.

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

Very nice place not far from the main road. Appartment was clean, spacious with interesting details. Two rooms with huge beds, big living room with dining table and terrace. Our host was very responsive, waited for our arrival and even woke up very early morning to say goodbye. Outstanding thing i liked the most were ,,jungle sounds'' i enjoyed getting asleep with. I recommend!

The place is very beautiful, it is in a quiet and safe area. It is also close to the bus station, there is a very good supermarket, a stall where you can buy very fresh local fish. The accommodation is superlative, it's like a 5-star hotel, clean and spacious rooms, hot water in the bathroom at all times, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook. You practically have a house at your disposal with everything you need. And the view from the balcony is superb, where you can see all kinds of brightly colored birds and many squirrels. As for the hosts, they are friendly and very hospitable people, who helped us in everything we needed (information about the place, tourist routes). I had all the privacy. We felt at home. I highly recommend, if you come here you won't regret it. It is a place where I will return if I visit Sri Lanka. I can say that everything you see in the presentation is real, it looks even better than in the pictures.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room is fantastic and really large. Also a big bathroom. Breakfast was great, we went for the Sri Lanka option. Really friendly and helpful. Top stay.

The place was perfect, the location was excellent, very easy to walk down to the city via the walking road shortcut. The view was amazing, all of the amenities were as described. The only thing to note is the host is not onsite so needs 20 minutes notice of your arrival to meet you. No big deal as long as you’re aware of it

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft, sie ist wunderschön und liegt am Fluss. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Außerdem ist sie sehr groß und sehr gut eingerichtet, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine und sehr viele Utensilien für die Küche. Der Gastgeber und der Hausmeister sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und immer per Handy oder persönlich zu erreichen. Wir haben Tipps für eine Anreise mit dem Bus und weitere Aktivitäten erhalten. Fußläufig gibt es einen Supermarkt und Restaurant.
