Excellent property! Had 10 men stay for a fishing trip and we had plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay again. The bathrooms were top notch, excellent walk in showers with great water pressure, light up mirrors. Large common area to cook, visit, watch tv, and play pool. Great screened in back porch for grilling and hanging out! The ping pong table was a nice touch as well. Would definitely recommend!

couldn't ask for a better place to stay. any questions I had, were promptly answered and if she didn't know the answer she found the answer for us. definitely made my travel less stressful. everything we needed and then some. definitely without a doubt accommodating to our needs and will check with her before I make another trip down there to see if it is available.

This is a wonderful spot on Toledo Bend. Really nice home with a fantastic view of the water. The afternoon sunset, framed by cypress trees along the water's edge, is beautiful. Spent both of my evenings on the deck. But what I really appreciated about the place was how welcoming it was. The house is generously stocked with everything you need. We honestly felt more like guests in the home, rather than renters. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

Our first time staying with Natalie at Lake Record Lodge, absolutely won’t be our last! The property was everything we could have hoped for. Beautiful fully fenced backyard with more than enough room for our dogs to be comfortable. Sunsets from the swing on the dock were magical. We had some light showers during our stay, the covered portion of the patio made for a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the rain. Interior was clean, well put together, and the kitchen had everything utensil and dish wise we could possibly need. Literally the only challenge we had was figuring out the split AC units. Not at any fault of the property, it was our lack technological expertise. LOL! Natalie was great, she was very responsive leading up to check in. To be honest everything was so good we never needed to message her during the stay. After checking out she responded right away to my thank you message. 5 stars across the board.

Very spacious. We had 8 -10 people the whole time and no issues with sharing bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of linens. Plenty of room to spread out your things. Having 2 kitchens was awesome. The fire pit was great as it was cool in the evenings. We brought a boat. Parked under covered dock but we used public ramp which was a few miles down the way. It would be fine for a smaller boat. Being on a cove the water level questionable. Bait & tackle/gas/grocery shop about 5 miles away. Plenty of parking. Nice for large family or friends gathering with plenty of space inside or outdoors.

Nice decor, comfy beds and beautiful sunsets! Would love to return someday.

This place was phenomenal. The house is beautiful, with plenty of space to spread out. Being at the back of a small cove, there was no through boat traffic. This led to very peaceful mornings and evenings down at the wharf. The large yard and downstairs game room give ample space for kids to run and play with endless fun for all ages. If you bring your own boat, being able to keep it in the water tied to the wharf saves a lot of time instead of having to launch every time you want to go fish. No boat? Fish from the wharf. I would recommend this place to anyone, and look forward to go back. The hosts were fantastic to deal with and very friendly.
