The accommodations were not only beautifully furnished but also incredibly comfortable. The added amenities, including the pool, hot tub, and gym, made our stay even more enjoyable, offering plenty of options for relaxation and fitness. We also loved how close the cottage was to the local restaurants and the beach—it was the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. We recently spent a week here & had a wonderful time. The house is private & somewhat secluded, and the location is convenient for shopping and/or going to the coast. The house itself was clean and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, bakeware, and pots & pans. Rocking on the front porch, the hot tub, and the fire pit offer great relaxation with a nice view of the lake. We'll most likely stay here again next year.

Lovely one night stay at this sweet little cottage! Grounds are well-kept, enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. AC kept it nice and cool. Convenient location close to a great donut shop- Congdon’s and our favorite ice scream spot- Scoop Deck. Chloe is a gracious host and even granted us a late check-out!

Place was beautifully designed for guests. The kitchen and living area were even bigger than photos, and everything was new and functional. Four private bedrooms comfortably fit us all, and the rest of the amenities were perfect (we used the hot tub in the snow), played board games, had a great time. Local Kennebunk restaurants are just a mile or two away. Awesome spot!

Terrific stay! The cottage was modern, clean, convenient and lovely. The pools are great for kids, and the cottage is near to restaurants, beaches etc. Great place for a holiday.

Dierdre's place was perfect, just like described: a lovely cottage for a family or couple's vacation. It is quiet, clean, and close to Portland with many amenities. It exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return soon. You will also love her amazing place!!

Skye’s home is just delightful. We were there during strong winds and very cold weather but it was a wonderful place to stay! There are tons of things nearby to enjoy, Portsmouth is a very short drive away. We also visited several light houses in great towns! Skye’s home has everything you need and Skye was extremely responsive! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. Another wonderfully relaxing stay! We really enjoyed the new screened in porch for morning coffee, late afternoon snacks, and evening games. The rainy days were just as lovely as the beautiful ones. We enjoyed the cozy gas stove on the cooler days, and we just couldn't have been more delighted by the welcome note and gift upon our arrival.

We felt right at home and Rick allowed us to bring our dog and two cats, a bonus not easily found. The rental was cozy but big enough for the two of us and 3 fur babies. The shower was nice and hot, the Wi-Fi was excellent and we had a great Roku TV that we easily streamed our services without issue. The furniture was very big and comfortable with throws available for added warmth. The bedroom was perfect with plenty of space for our clothes, a nice bed and new fresh bedding. The absolutely only challenge was the narrow, curvy driveway! Luckily, we had a good back up camera and the street wasn’t very busy. This minor issue is not enough to deter us from returning for another stay!

Elizabeth was a wonderful host and her home is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The house was spotless, well appointed, and very cozy. The short walk to the beach and town market is really convenient. Her rental is a perfect home base if you’re visiting Portland or exploring the Maine coast nearby.

We loved our stay at the Gull Cottage!! Karen and Steve were great hosts, incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The guide book and guest book were great touches as well, and we would happily stay again next time we come up to Maine! We could not recommend the Gull Cottage more if you’re looking for a great and cozy place to stay near Portland!

We have been coming to Ogunquit/Wells in the summer for about 10 years, and this was our first time trying Summer Village, and it was a truly fantastic stay! The cottage location is situated between Ogunquit and Wells and is easily accessible to both of those beaches and destinations nearby. ‘A’ could not have been a nicer, more responsive host and it made the logistics of planning very easy. Know going into it that you are bringing your own linens and towels, and there are some standard rules about the larger property, but the cottage has everything you could need and it was very welcoming. In A’s cottage, you have easy ability to sleep a family of 5. There is a fully stocked kitchen and gas grill. But the biggest unexpected perk was all the amenities of the Summer Village property. 3 pools, bocce, tennis, a rec room with games, and a free on-site trolley to get you around every 20 minutes. The stay was incredibly relaxing and I would highly recommend this for young families!

Beautiful location, perfect stay with amazing hosts! This was the perfect getaway for our family and we cannot wait to go back! The location can't be beat and Kate and Barry went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The location was amazing. Just a few steps to Crescent Beach. I actually took my coffee down there and watched the sunrise in the morning. So beautiful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Kristin was very responsive and helpful. Don't miss out on the clam chowder at the Lobster Pound less than 100 meters away. We'd definitely come again.

Don’t tell anyone about Shelley’s place! We want to be the only ones to be there!!!!! We had a beautiful time ! Me, my daughter and her 2 yr old son. The lake is soooooo clear and relaxing. Canoed every day. Loons in the lake everyday. Went and picked blueberries and went to the children’s museum😃 Close to Portland! We’ll bring the Daddy next time! Thanks Shelley

Such a beautiful spot--Christine's house has gorgeous views, a dock and many kayaks. We enjoyed our stay--sitting on the deck, seeing the Northern Lights (!!)--thank you Christine for the heads up! Harpswell is a special place and this beach cottage is special as well. Loved the view from the spacious bedroom. Great hiking and local seafood.

Really enjoyed our stay at Samantha’s place. Very accommodating and went above and beyond to assure we were comfortable for our vacation. House was comfortable and worked well for our large family. Super close to everything! Hoping we can make it back next year.
