After a delayed flight & very late arrival we were happy to meet Fabio who conveniently lives next door & took the time to show us the accommodation. Very modern/comfortable, with everything we needed. He even left wine from the Valentina label for us as we arrived on Valentine's Day! Nice touch & very tasty. Throughout our stay Fabio was very communicative/helpful. There is large shopping mall 10 mins away & beautiful beaches 20-30 mins away. But the best thing was enjoying the peace/quiet & beautiful views at the house. Just what the family needed. There are roosters living next door, but thanks to all the electric shutters they never woke us up too early. We all slept great! I would definitely return to explore more of the region and cutting the winter short with some Portuguese sunshine was a great decision! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Ótima estadia na casa da Joelle e do Fernando. Muito boa localização, num sítio calmo embora perto de um supermercado e de restaurantes. A casa em si é muito confortável, espaçosa e com todas as comodidades. O check-in foi muito simples, e a Maria foi muito simpática e prestável. Correu tudo muito bem, recomendo vivamente!

Petit chalet paisible, à seulement quelques minutes en voiture des commerces. Malgré un problème de chaudière nous avons passé un agréable séjour grâce à la réactivité de José ainsi que sa gentillesse.

Beautiful home, perfect location for us as surfers. Alex was on hand if we needed him for anything, super helpful and friendly. Will be staying again and recommending to friends :)

Un super séjour, Le logement était très bien, la résidence sécurisée le top pour les enfants . Hôte très réactif et sympathique dans les échanges .

Ein echt schöner kleiner Bungalow. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die Kontaktperson vor Ort extrem nett und zuvorkommend. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, zufuß geht da nichts, das hat uns aber garnicht gestört. Alles was man braucht ist innerhalb 10 min mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Wow! What a beautiful place! We could have e stayed much longer! It was so homey and lots of space for everyone. We like the location as well, close to the square and restaurants, water taxis… one of our favourite places so far! Jonathan was great - super helpful and very quick to respond. We were also received so warmly by Sandra. Highly recommend!!

Die Casa war sehr schön zwischen Orangen- und Olivenbäumen und total privat gelegen. Ana Maria und Jorge haben eine große Schale frischer Orangen und eine Flasche Wein sowie Kaffee bereit gestellt. Das Obst war köstlich 😋. Die Gastgeber sehr freundliche und herzliche Personen. Anfangs war es etwas kühl, was dem schlechten Wetter vor unserem Aufenthalt geschuldet war, jedoch konnte man mit der Klimaanlage auch heizen. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Die Hauskatze hat uns gleich begrüßt und Streicheleinheiten eingefordert. 😼 Wir haben es sehr genossen, dort unsere Privatsphäre gehabt zu haben.

We have been in ~20 airbnb appartements and this is one of the best we had. Very clean, all comfort available, all is of good quality (bed, kitchen, tv, ...) and everything works. Really nice place. There is a little shop just a few steps away. And plenty of bigger shops in the neighborhood. It was easy to reach the beach by car. We tried multiple places, all were fine. Conclusion, lovely place!

Joao&Lenia's house was a lovely quiet house and a short walk to the town. Although it is small it has everything you need. The view is amazing and lots of lovely walks in the area I would highly recommend it. Thank you Lenia for all your help.

Fabulous house for a group or large family. Everything is so beautifully done and Melina is obviously an interior decorator because the small things mattered. Same single problem as every other reviewer is "the bells" {of the church, Igrela de Mexilhoeira} but Melina cannot do anything about that. Great accommodation, great location, great hostess.

This house was 10/10 - We lived here a group of 7 friends for a week. The view from the house is so beautiful, and there is an amazing pool area and tennis court! We borrowed rackets from the house and played every day. The rooms were beautiful and also the bathrooms. The hosts were easy to get in contact with and very kind. We are definitely coming back!

Great communication, extremely helpful and a well detailed welcome pack. Gorgeous retreat in a quiet spot and 5 minute from Caneiros beach. Met all our expectations. Clean and well equipped. Would recommend 🥰

Prachtig, authentiek portugees huis, met een schitterend uitzicht. Het huis heeft een fijne, goed uitgeruste leefkeuken, die vanaf het terras bereikbaar is. Toen wij er zaten, was er een nestje zwaluwen in het hoekje van het terras, dat moest leren vliegen, en waar we iedere dag van hebben kunnen genieten. Vanuit het huis zit je gelijk op een mooie wandelroute die goed is aangegeven. De route is ongeveer 17 km, maar kan gemakkelijk gehalveerd worden. Je moet wel voor alles (boodschappen, restaurants etc) minstens 5km rijden, dus even lopen naar een restaurant kan niet. Er is geen airco, maar het huis is door zijn dikke muren goed koel te houden. Helaas veel muggen in omgeving, dus vergeet de DEET niet 😊 Tip: in Alte is een heerlijke praia fluvial, bij de Fonte, om aan het eind van de middag even lekker af te koelen.

Maison de village pas si évidente à trouver. Les places de parking sont compliquées à trouver dans le village. Maison exiguë ne correspondant pas tout à fait aux photos : est en réalité plus petite et plus vieillotte. L’escalier est extrêmement abrupte et dangereux, ne convient pas à tout le monde, il est obligatoire à emprunter pour atteindre la terrasse La deuxième chambre a l’étage ne possède pas de porte Caroline est très amicale et disponible Nous avons tout de même passé un excellent séjour

We had a lovely time away for my daughter's first holiday, the weather wasn't great but having a lovely villa certainly made up for it! Helder was very helpful and the villa is so beautiful and clean, lots of space too. We will definitely be back again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Orange Villa. It was made all the more fun by the pool outside. After having a small problem with the downstairs bathroom, Larisa was quick to come and fix the issue within the hour with no fuss. Excellent area to stay in 10 minutes from the main town area with plenty of restaurants nearby. All the rooms are fitted with aircon which made it easier to sleep at night. Would highly recommend to any groups of people who want a relaxing stay away with easy access to shops and amenities. Host Larisa was amazing and very responsive. Thank you soo much for a great experience.

Wir bedanken uns von ganzem Herzen für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Wir Erwachsenen und Kinder haben uns alle mehr als wohl gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war schnell, freundlich und auf den Punkt gebracht. Die Strandnähe ist unschlagbar, die Lage zentral aber trotzdem ruhig. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, praktisch und toll ausgestattet. Auf Anfrage wurde uns sogar noch ein Sonderwunsch für die Ausstattung gebracht. Wir hätten uns nichts besseres vorstellen können! Nice house with an absolutely gorgeous view in pictoresque, quiet surroundings. Well-kept pool, nice terrace to the south. Useful fireplace with a good supply of firewood for those chilly early-Spring evenings. In terms of supplies, be prepared to bring just about everything with you. The only things provided were dish-washing liquid, tablets for the dish machine, and two rolls of toilet paper. No salt, pepper, oil or any other usual Airbnb-leftover amenities.

Had a perfect stay for a full month in December - can only highly recommend it. Luz is a lovely little town, with beautiful weather, light and bars/cafes/restos even in winter. The apartment is a perfect base and beautifully equipped with everything one could need. Kate is a formidable host with great recommendations that go beyond the usual. WiFi is fast and steady, so it also works for remote working. Would love to come back.

Wir haben 12 Übernachtungen in dem Haus gehabt. Dies zu Ende Dezember/Anfang Januar. Die Lage des Hauses war für uns perfekt. Wir haben die Ruhe gesucht und gefunden. Ein tolle Strand ist in unter 15 Minuten erreichbar. Ein Restaurant (O Sargo, welches wir ausdrücklich empfehlen möchten!) ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben zwei Wanderungen vom Haus aus starten können, die beide viel Abwechslung geboten haben. Alle anderen Aktivitäten wie Einkaufen etc. müssen jedoch mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad erledigt werden. Das ist zu Fuß nicht möglich. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war sehr gut. Die Küche hat alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Evtl. wäre mehr Besteck und Gläser wünschenswert. Die Betten sind äußerst bequem. 👍🏻 Da wir im Winter vor Ort waren, mussten wir abends ins Haus. Dafür dass das Haus auf bis zu 6 Personen ausgelegt ist, gab es unserer Meinung nach etwas zu wenige Sitzplätze im Wohnzimmer. Aber auch hier konnten wir uns behelfen. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft.

Magnificent Manifesting! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. Outside area was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Lovely outside cooking and dining area which we used a lot and the sea is much closer than appears in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped and the local shops are an easy and beautiful walk to pick up any additional extras. Close to lovely restaurants and bars filled with friendly people and staff. Luz is a wonderful location to explore the Algarve however a week is not enough as there is much to see and do 😉. Just a note that the access to the pool area would not be conducive to someone with mobility issues but is beautiful. Something that everyone really appreciated was the very positive water pressure 😂 seems like a small thing however weirdly it matters. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this villa to friends and family. Ideally located, with charm and character in a beautiful location, sea breezes and with a fab host 🙏

Casa excelente e espaçosa, com todas as comodidades - como uma cozinha super equipada. A localização é muito boa, perde a vista maravilhosa com as obras (e certamente com o condomínio que está a ser construído) mas está a 10min da praia e dos miradouros!
