Sahel : locations de vacances dans des maisons organiques

Un merveilleux endroit ... Séjourner chez Frédérique c'est être bercée par le bruit des vagues, se laisser guider pour les excursions ( très bons contacts avec locaux), partager des moments chaleureux, conviviaux, drôles autour d'une cuisine maison ( ah les oeufs frais le matin !!) jouer avec ses chiens adorables... L'hébergement est très confortable, très bonne literie, un bel espace, une piscine fort agréable. Vous l'avez compris nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cet endroit !! Et en partant on se dit quelle chance d'avoir fait cette belle rencontre humaine et quelle chance d'y avoir séjourné plusieurs jours. Merci pour tout.

We were a group of six people and had such a great time at Ellis’ place. The atmosphere is very special and peaceful and the feeling of being in the jungle, surrounded by nature and hearing the sound of the waves all the time was simply amazing. Ellis prepared wonderful breakfasts and dinners for us and meeting the other guests we all became like a family. It was only a short 1 minute walk to the beach - the coastline is amazing and good for jogging or yoga and there is a restaurant not far away to spent the day. The accommodation was very basic but provided everything we needed. We hope to be back one day.

Je recommande fortement. La chambre était spacieuce ainsi que la salle de bain. Le jardin est grand et remplie de différents arbres, vous pouvez vous abritez du soleil sous les nombreux manguiers. Le village est paisible, et les gens accueillants. Pape et Lamine sont des hôtes très chaleureux avec qui vous pouvez parler de tout, ils m'ont aussi aidé pour la suite de mon séjour. Je suis resté 2 jours supplémentaires tellement je me sentais bien.

Good Vibes Eco Lodge is a truly magical place. The location is amazing- it's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You are surrounded by beautiful nature, lush garden, birds, fruit trees, baobabs, and the nearby river. The lodge is beautiful. We felt extremely comfortable and cosy, it had everything we needed. Most importantly, Ami and her family are the best and kindest hosts we have met during our travels. They made us feel like a part of the family. Ami's food is delicious - probably the best we tried in the Gambia, and her place has become the highlight of our trip. We only wish we had booked a longer stay (5 days was not enough - I can guarantee you will want to extend your stay once you are there). We left feeling like we made some truly beautiful friends and I hope we will have the chance to come back one day.

Loved that the space was unique and the host responsive

Notre séjour chez Oumy a été à la hauteur de nos attentes et encore plus! L’endroit est impeccable, comfortable et très bien décoré; Les photos n’y rendent pas justice. La localisation est excellente et il est facile de s’y rendre. Oumy et Asta on été à l’écoute de nos demandes et très disponibles pour nous. Un vrai plaisir que de séjourner chez Oumy!

Perrine was an excellent host and we had a fantastic time! I have stayed here twice in the past and I just love coming back each time. It is a very peaceful area with a shared pool, though the pool feels private because no one else was out there both times I was there. What I really loved is that there were no planes flying over, despite it's close proximity to the airport! I heard from a local that it could be because the President owns a residence close by, and therefore no planes can fly over. The nearby restaurants were delicious with beautiful views, we ate breakfast at Sobo Bade every morning, as it is less than a five minute walk from the Airbnb. There is easy access to the beach to go on walks and shop at the local markets. There is also a small convenience store located on the same road, so you can buy snacks and waters. Overall, I had a wonderful time and I will definitely be returning again!
