Beyond our expectations. Beautiful house in and great quiet neighborhood. Could not have picked a better place for our stay.

Oliver’s place is very clean!! The beds were comfortable! A snowstorm had moved in and Oliver cleaned the driveway out right away. It was a really good stay, I would go back to Oliver’s anytime.

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

This was our third stay in three consecutive years at Frank and Nadia’s beautiful chalet. You can see my previous reviews also on Airbnb. The chalet is huge and beautiful. One of the en suite bedrooms is located on the ground (main) floor and this was great for us travelling with an older family member who has some mobility issues. Saint Michel des Saints is a magical, beautiful, immaculately maintained small town in gorgeous surroundings. The golf course is absolutely stunning and the management so kind and welcoming even if you aren’t pro and don’t have all the right ‘golf wear’ ! Very refreshing from most other golf clubs. We played twice. We also rented a pontoon from the town which was a lovely experience and highly recommended.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

The cottage feels like home! It is fully stuffed from beer in the fridge and teas selection to Apple TVs connected to all TVs with Netflix accounts. Has everything you need for your stay and more. You can park right next to the entrance, so easy to move your stuff inside.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I’m unsure why I didn’t picture the lake being covered in snow for a February stay but it certainly was. Which didn’t ruin our stay at all as the view was still beautiful. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. I would have liked if the deck was completely shoveled so we could go outside with tea some mornings but I guess with how much snow there was this was not feasible. The hot tub only got warm to me even at 105 degrees it wasn’t burning hot just rather warm. I think that’s simply due to how cold it is in Quebec. The house layout was different I’m not accustomed to sleeping on different floors from my children so that was an adjustment. I checked on them multiple times throughout the night. Lastly we were presented with an offer to extend our stay at a discounted rate but did not hear back from the host as he was traveling, which seemed like a missed opportunity considering how much we enjoyed the space. Beautiful location, with everything clean upon arrival. Easy to get into and Kristen was always available to answer any questions we had before arrival and during. If we come back to Pittsburg we will stay again!
