Beautiful condo, would highly recommend! We have stayed at this complex before, first time in this unit, and absolutely loved it. The host was great to work with and very responsive. The condo was beautifully decorated and we love the location as it’s right across the street from the beach. The beach was not overly crowded for a holiday week and the complex was very quiet. Can’t wait to go back.

Great place to stay. Great access to beach. Comfy beds. Very clean and welcoming. Host was responsive whenever messaged. The frontage road can get a bit busy so could be an issue with families with small children but we didn’t have that situation. Would absolutely stay here again.

This place far exceeded my expectations. It was exactly what we needed. Brittney was extremely responsive throughout the process, and very helpful. As soon as the door opens you know you're in a well maintained and sanitary space. The 5 minute walk to the beach was perfect. The pool and hot tub were well kept and a nice retreat from the beach. You are 35 minutes from just about anywhere, so be comfortable with limited options for dining, or plan to stock the fridge and cook, which was perfect for us. Mexico Beach was a really nice change for us; life is a little less busy here versus Panama City or Destin. We had a great time at a great place.

I’m don’t know what to say about this place that hasn’t been said, it was amazing! Plenty of room for both our families and awesome views of the ocean. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins jump. The ocean was beautiful and the access was easy. Not super busy, almost felt like we had the beach to ourselves. There are many great restaurants and you are right next to a state park with great biking. We had one minor issue and the hosts were right on top of it. I could go on and on, book this place if you are in the area!

The condo was very nice and clean. The balcony was wonderful. The walk to the beach was super easy.

Stayed in Condo 402, was absolutely perfect for us and a our friends! First time staying in Mexico Beach, so peaceful, not a tourist destination.

Spent two months at Drift Away. The condo is very large/spacious, clean and centrally located in Carrabelle. Michelle was very helpful during our stay. While visiting I suggest St. Port Joe and the town of Appalachiacola. We spent time at Harry’s Bar and found the locals charming. Morning Bite for breakfast was a regular stop for us! Definitely recommend Drift Away!

I would like to say that the hosts location is very convenient to Carrabelle and all its fishing and beach offerings. Our host went out of her way to rectify an issue upon check in and was in constant contact with us throughout until resolution was found. Would not hesitate to book one of her properties again! Great place for the affordability. Very clean and across the street from the beach! Easily fits four people.

I really enjoyed my stay—this is a fantastic place! Every inch of the home feels fresh, with stylish and interesting finishes that give it a modern, welcoming vibe. It was super comfortable and had everything I needed, from thoughtful touches to well-stocked essentials. I especially loved relaxing on both the front and back porches, and the entryway made a great first impression. The host was responsive and everything was exactly as described. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place.

Only wish we had known about all the steps but my legs feel great (lol) after our stay! Loved location and dog friendly places in town! Great food and friendly people! Recommend some hooks and a landing location inside the unit. Very quaint and comfortable place!

It was a great place to stay- steps away from beach, everything that you need is provided! Only wish I would’ve known that Mexico beach is NOT dog-friendly. Had to travel a mile down to Gulf county line where the beach is dog-friendly. But it still worked out and we had a great time with our family of 4 and our pup.

Great place to stay! Host is very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Well appointed, clean condo in a great location-just a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views and so peaceful. This condo was perfect for our family of 3. We appreciated the elevator, very functional kitchen, balcony with patio furniture and the clean pool and surrounding grounds. We love that we didn’t hear or see the traffic from our balcony, though the traffic in Mexico Beach is minimal compared to other parts of Florida. Mexico Beach is truly the best kept secret in the state of Florida. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This was a great place to stay! Everything was just perfect. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Easy walk to the beach and a great pool area. We will be back!

This place is amazing! First, the location is wonderful. Right across the street from a peaceful, beautiful beach. Easy access. The view from the balcony is unhindered and gorgeous. The place itself was clean and filled with all sorts of goodies like coffee and creamer, toiletries, extra towels (beach towels too), and so many other things. Hayley was easy to contact and quick with responses. We had a lovely time and hope to return.

We had a wonderful time at Julio‘s condo. It was quite spacious and perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I was just a short distance from the beach and on the quiet end of the island.

Loved the screened porch area and being on the water. Fully equipped and inside is very nice

We had a great time here! We loved that we were right by the pool but it was still quiet! The location is great. It’s close Port St. Joe/Cape San Blas or PCB if you need more touristy things to do one of the days (we did a really fun pirate cruise in PCB). Just be aware that if you have young children that you do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach and unfortunately not everyone slowed down or acknowledged the crosswalk flashing lights. There is also construction directly across the street to walk around too but I know they are rebuilding so that didn’t bother us at all. We never heard any noise from it either. There is definitely plenty of room and we felt safe staying here! We brought a lot of beach stuff with us but it was nice to have an extra umbrella. There are also plenty of beach towels and chairs and floats! It had plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with which we did most days we were there. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

First time to SGI.. won't be my last. I took my parents that are in their mid 70s and everything was very accessible. Just a couple minutes walk and you're on the beach. Our last morning's walk on the beach we were thrilled to see a momma turtle had laid a nest right at the end of our path to the beach..BUCKET LIST ITEM!!! I you want to unwind and just enjoy nature.. this is the place for you!!!
