Melanie was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful right from the very beginnig. She welcomed us as soon as we got there and we felt right at home. The whole home is absolutely stunning, just like the pictures and we had everything we needed there. Me and my partner stayed in the barn and our friends stayed in the cottage right next door, nice that we wasnt too far away from our friends but we also had our own privacy aswell. Though we had rainy weather whilst we were there, we didnt let it stop us from using the pool and hot tub. It was a great way to unwind and relax after the driving around and busy days out. Melanie would check up on us during our stay which we thought was very kind of her, she also left us cute little cornish treats which were super yummy. We wish we had booked longer and are looking forward to coming back again hopefully with a lot of sunshine! Thank you again Melanie, we loved our holiday x

We had a lovely family stay and Mel was friendly, helpful and all communications were clear and provided in plenty of time before arrival. The house itself was smashing, comfy, clean and spacious with wonderful views from the balcony across Meanporth Beach and the sea. The 3 bedrooms were also great and we all slept well. The main bedroom also has an outside space with a table and chairs outside the patio doors. The property is part of Meanporth Estate which has a main building with swimming pool area as well as a pool table and table tennis. You also have The Cove Restaurant and Meanporth Beach cafe near the site entrance. On a practical note, there is plenty of car parking on site, the kitchen has a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and all the utensils you'd need, the main downstairs bathroom has a lovely overhead shower and there's a separate upstairs loo too. In a nutshell, a wonderful place, close to Falmouth and I'd happily visit again and recommend to others

Fantastic house, great location. The house is really comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed as a family of 5. The pool and spa facilities are a minute walk away and made a great addition to our stay, especially when the rain came. The woodburner was also a bonus on a rainy day. When the sun shone we took the train ‘park and ride’ from St Erth into St.Ives which was a real treat. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Fiona was excellent with communication in the lead-up to our stay, responding quickly to any queries and making us feel welcome before we even arrived. Walking into the property, we were greeted with a beautiful bunch of yellow roses on the coffee table—a lovely touch! After a long drive to Cornwall on a cold and blustery day, we immediately lit the log burner, which made the whole apartment feel super warm and cozy. The thoughtful extras, like scones with clotted cream and treats for our dogs, made us feel truly at home. The hot tub was a brilliant addition—spotlessly clean and the perfect way to unwind. The entire place was impeccably maintained, cozy, and well-equipped. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation for a relaxing getaway and will definitely be back again soon!

This property was absolutely stunning. We were delighted as soon as we checked in. High end kitchen appliances. Quality modern furniture. The outside space was incredible. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and the bed linen extremely high quality. I would highly recommend this property. It’s better than the photos and we are now planning to book it again. This is a luxury property but well worth the price. Lots of space and easily accommodated our party of 8. Can’t fault one thing

We had a fantastic stay at the Retallack Resort. Close to Padstow and Wadebridge and lots of activities nearby. 8 of us went and ages ranged from 11 months to 74 and there were things for all of us to do! The onsite restaurant was very nice and we used the pool every morning which I booked slots for the week before we arrived. The house is right on the river so we had visits from ducks, geese and even some goslings every day. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Any questions were answered quickly even if they had already been answered previously and I missed the information. Melanie was very patient and kind and would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone wanting to stay in Cornwall.

Very clean accommodation with everything you need. Beautiful gardens, excellent pool and hot tub. Short walk to very pretty beach and views. Would highly recommend
