Two retired British couples, one new to Barbados and one more used to staying in hotels around the island. We had the most amazing holiday and stay in Jasmine Villa. It is in a wonderful location and is elegantly and luxuriously furnished. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and everything we ever needed was there on hand. We prepared three quarters of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen and the others we took in restaurants on the West and South Coast. Sugar Hill Club was great for the pool and the restaurant, which we appreciated especially on the night we arrived. We also made great use of the Beach Club at the Fairmont Hotel, included with the house. We took taxis to/from the airport and rented a small car, delivered to the property, to explore many of Barbados' attractions and for shopping in nearby Holetown.

We stayed at Tennyson’s rental for 8 days in December. Just outside of Holetown, it was a convenient location to walk to the beach, restaurants, super market, banks and some great amenities. The walk was about 15 mins to Holetown but the beach access was closer about 10 mins. It’s very close to the bus route so hopping on a bus to other parts of the island was very easy. The yellow reggae busses were convenient and the drivers helpful about getting us to our locations. There was also a lovely yoga studio very close and the spa at the Barbados Club was very nice. Tennyson’s apartment was clean and comfortable. With 2 beds and 2 baths and a large common area and kitchen, it was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials. Towels were provided too which was a bonus! And it is true, there are monkeys! We saw a family of them and one was up on the patio steps. No complaints and would definitely stay here again!

Second visit! It was just as wonderful as we remembered the first time. There is plenty of storage for a week’s vacation and a fully stocked kitchen with ice in the freezer. We loved the view of the water/vegetation and the monkey family that stopped by during breakfast. John, the house manager, was very responsive and helpful with questions and local recommendations! The baby gate for the pool was a huge plus because the kids begged to go in the pool daily. You will want to bring a sound machine to tune out the rooster next door. It is a short walk/ drive to the beach where you can find a great drink and friendly locals. This is a must stay place and everyone was comfortable.

We have just came back from an amazing week staying in West Rock. The cottage was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Location wise you are close to all the top restaurants and beaches but would advise a car. Paul was exceptional and happy to help with anything, he recommended a car hire and transfer (Shirt car hire) it was seamless from collecting us at the airport and the car being delivered to us at the villa ready for our stay. Would highly recommend using as you can trust the working relationship they share. We couldn’t recommend West Rock’s enough and will certainly be back 🏝️

Superb stay in a beautiful villa with two spacious rooms. The property was as advertised in all aspects, clean and welcoming with a workable indoor and outdoor space. We received clear and friendly communication throughout our stay on behalf of the host and took advantage of the airport transfers offered before arrival. The bedrooms/bathrooms are well laid out and air conditioned whilst the outdoor areas offer bbq opportunities and a quiet evening in. Location was perfect for our needs, a two minute walk for an outstanding beach which is quiet and has the luxury of restaurants such as Lonestar or Jumas, both of which serve some great fish. The bus stop is located just down from the gated street, which we took full advantage of to either pick up groceries or go out into Holetown, Bridgetown and Oistins fish fry. I would be more than happy to book the property again on a future stay in the best place on earth - Barbados!

Loved my stay at Rosie’s place, exactly as described with a few special touches like the gym, and the use of washing machine. Communication was always prompt no matter the time of the day. Would highly recommend and look forward to one day coming again

The house is absolutely beautiful & so close to Mullins beach & some fantastic restaurants & bars. The house has everything you need, it is clean, tidy & very spacious! We loved having the house pool & the main pool is great with a bar area & comfy sun beds! Marcia & Peter were both lovely & easy to contact. Great stay!

The pictures don’t do this property justice, it’s fabulous - perfectly laid out and minutes from everything including the beach! Mike and Pam were wonderful to deal with, responsive from the very beginning and shared important information while we were there. Andrea met us at the porperty and was lovely, she was very thorough and we didn’t have to wonder about anything. The entire property was clean, well stocked, and super welcoming. We were a short walk from the beach, restaurants, bars, grocery store, medical center, etc. We will definitely be returning!

Hi Sarah We have had a wonderful time with our family and grandchildren at Mullins Bay House. The privacy of the location and support of staff Andrew and Oneta was amazing. The house plan, pool and size of the lot does not get better. We would recommend this location to people who enjoy relaxation and privacy but are still close to the ocean, local restaurants and amenities. We wish you and your family all the best. Our stay at Westmoreland Hills was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the impeccable decor. Every detail of the home was thoughtfully designed, making it both luxurious and inviting. The villa was exceptionally well-stocked, ensuring we had everything we needed, and the arrival starter package was such a thoughtful touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect night’s sleep after long days of exploring and relaxing. A huge highlight of our stay was the level of hospitality. The host was remarkably responsive, ensuring every question or request was handled swiftly. And then there’s Shanny, the house manager—an absolute gem! Her warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care made our experience even more special. The location of Westmoreland Hills is unbeatable. If you're looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and stress-free getaway, look no further. Westmoreland Hills is simply exceptional!

Our stay was amazing. The villa is beautiful, we had some days chilling at the Villa and the BBQ and dining areas were perfect. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Ruth's place! The property was beautiful- a brand new house with upgraded finishes and beautiful pool with a great outdoor living space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Full laundry capability was helpful with young children. The AC kept the entire house cool when we needed it. This is important because Barbados is hot and humid even at nighttime. We appreciated the groceries that were provided on arrival, which is helpful after a flight when you are too tired to venture out to shop. Housekeeping was provided twice during the week and the pool was cleaned several times by staff when we were there. If we come back to Barbados, we would love to stay at Ruth's place again!

A really lovely 4 bedroom home with stunning views from upstairs balconies. The housekeeper was also excellent and waited up to meet us on arrival when we were delayed. It’s location is perfect just behind Mullins Beach and also felt very secure. Highly recommended and hope we can return one day.

The villa was a great for our family. Lots of room for cribs . Kitchen was well supplied with lots of glasses , plates ,bowls and cooking utensils. Monkey shows in the morning were entertaining for us all. Outdoor dining area was large and comfortable . Lots of outdoor furniture variety. Pool was just the right size . Lots of micro fiber beach towels that were very useful for taking to the beach. The beach club access was a huge advantage. We spent many days at the beach club watching the sun go down. Grocery stores are close, within walking distance. Bus service is fun and efficient for visiting other beaches . The local contact Sandy was very helpful and gave us lots of advice on places to go. We would choose this Villa again if we go back.

The property was lovely and great value for the area. We generally walked to the beach or used the yellow buses to get around but the taxi’s are cheap enough and come quickly. I wish I’d read the information more closely before we came because we’d have arranged to have shopping done for us before we arrived (which was offered hit I missed it), as we arrived late and had to wait for shops to open the next day before we could eat. Also, make sure you read the information on how to get to the property before you go (also provided), as our taxi driver didn’t know the address and we needed to calling to get instructions. There were only 2 of us, but the property is plenty big enough for 4. On our last day, our flight was quite late, so we booked a day pass at the Hilton. Another option would be to get a private tour of the island and dropped off at the airport, I wasn’t organised enough to do this but I think it would be a good idea. Lastly, Speightstown is lovely, definitely go.

We arrived late at night due to a 4 hour flight delay but had no problem finding our accommodations and getting in. It's a great house. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom with shower so no waiting ever. The front porch and covering on the side of the house with seating and table was great. There's a nice selection of books and games available. The walk to the beach is literally 5 min or less, glad about that. Overall very quiet and it felt quite secure. Highly recommended.

My family and I had an amazing time at this house. Beautiful home in a beautiful area. First morning there were green monkeys in the back yard but they disappeared after that day. They were not aggressive and. it was cool for the kids to see them right in the back yard. Laundry facilities are great. Home is as described and so worth the money. Michael was always very responsive and even gave us a bit later check out since our flight was a bit delayed. Pool was fantastic and I would definitely stay there again. The bedrooms all have AC and ceiling fans downstairs but it was still very very hot during the days downstairs. One Ac unit in the tv room would help immensely. Other than that we all loved it. Mullins beach is a 10 minute drive away. Will definitely be back. Thanks Lee and Audrey and Michael for all your help.

Richard is a super host, he’s communication was exceptional. The space is to view for, a view of the beach and only 7 minutes drive to Sandy Lane and the shops of Holetown. Book this and treat yourself to peace and tranquility.

The search is over...you've found the best Airbnb in Barbados! Little overview: The property is beautiful, spacious, secure and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances. The aircon in the bedrooms is fantastic and provides a welcome relief at night. The gardens are stunning and the pool is such a bonus, our kids loved it. The location is perfect, we hired cars and got around the island easily. Mariam went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Amanda met us at the property with our pre-ordered shopping (an absolute blessing) and had cleaned the house until it was spotless. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. Desmond, the neighbour, brought our boys a football over. I can honestly say it was the most welcoming property we have ever stayed in. We felt well looked after. We are already figuring dates out to come back. If you want a real feel of Barbados then look no further, you've found the place!

Highly Recommended. We had a tremendous family holiday at Giggles, a wonderful location and tremendously well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of local amenities such as great supermarket, fantastic restaurants, beaches, shops etc, also well placed to get the local buses or taxes if you want to get out and about more. We had a car but still enjoyed getting on the local buses now and again. The property is really well managed, great communication with Sarah and Jeanine (in charge of housekeeping) was always available for everything we needed. We found the arrival instructions really helpful and the guest book is full of invaluable tips and recommendations to help us get as much out of our trip as possible. Big shout out to the cleaners who do a great job ensuring that the house was perfect upon our arrival with everything organized and easy to find. We also thoroughly enjoyed visits from the local wildlife, including green monkeys and a variety of birds. Thank you Sarah

We had a fantastic time at the Sweet Spot villa. Between the easy access to the beach and private pool, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. The community is beautiful and there was ample space for our family of 11. It was also a huge plus to have bathrooms in each bedroom when getting ready each day. Todne was very helpful in getting our questions answered. Unfortunately, internet is spotty (which caused delays in communicating in general). It would have been helpful to have had some instructions regarding the house earlier (re: how to get ‘hot’ water, work the door locks, registering etc.) but we figured it out eventually. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful villa! Spent a few days here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 28th birthday and it was everything we could’ve imagined! The view is amazing, barbados is such a lovely place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Thank you for helping me put together a personal chef for the birthday girl! The villa was so amazing we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location with only 7 units in the complex- felt private and as if we were at a resort location for handful of people. Three couples travelled together and location offers lovely bedrooms and ensuites for all. The three different dining areas were great and we used them all. Plunge pool was lovely and the large pool was terrific and often unused. We used the bbq and cooked a few meals. Daily housekeeping was fabulous. Several restaurants in walking distance and main grocery store a 10minute drive south. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend Merlin Bay if you want a beautiful beachfront location.
