Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful scenery and cozy cabin. We had all the amenities we needed. The host was friendly, helpful and always responsive. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

We had a great stay. Everything was clean, and it was the perfect place just to get away for the weekend.

We loooved this cabin! Even being next to the house, you wouldn’t know it. It was nice and quiet! I told her this but I need you all to know too: there was a plethora of ice and plenty of towels, two things that may seem small but are very much appreciated!

Theresa and Mark are the best host. They always make us feel right at home. And you can't forget about Harley. He is the best little beagle and is always around to welcome you upon arrival. We would recommend this place and any other place hosted by Theresa and Mark.

We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay. The hot tub was wonderful and so was the view. We were so comfortable.

We had a large group and the place was perfect for what we needed! Look forward to visiting again next time we are in Steelville to float!

Absolutely loved this place!! We booked dogwood cabin last minute and were very happy with our experience. Very, clean and plenty of room. Jessica was also very helpful and responsive!

This is hands down the nicest cabin I have ever stayed in. It is somehow small and cozy, and open and spacious at the same time. The kitchen had all the things you need to cook up a meal, and even make yourself some waffles. They add nice touches of adding snacks and waters, breakfast items etc. The bed was not just a comfortable cabin bed, it was the most comfortable air b&b bed I have slept in. The only thing to worry about is the neighbors dogs. they chased our car when passing by since the neighbors don't keep them fenced in. They don't come to the cabin at all, but we worried each time that we would hit them, and they definitely didn't seem friendly. But as long as you don't wander down the road they won't bother you (I don't think). Highly recommend Joe and Cindy's cabin... book it, do yourself the favor!!

Beautiful and Private. The home is clean and as described. The interstate is nearby and can be heard from the front porch but not at all from the inside. The view of the stars was amazing and the property was well kept. Other reviews also mentioned the driveway and it is a somewhat steep gravel road with turns. It was a little bit of a challenge in an 2WD SUV pulling a light trailer, but doable. It really should be mentioned in the main listing, but other than that the description and home matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend and will be giving 5 starts.

We had a wonderfully peaceful visit at the cabin! My Son wanted a weekend trip for his birthday and he picked this cabin himself. Everything was as described! He spent hours fishing, didn’t catch anything but there’s always next time. The cabin was warm and comfy and had everything we needed and more ! We plan to go back soon.

The cabin was great! It was VERY clean, comfortable, and spacious. The space was modern, set up nicely, and the bed was very comfortable. Pictures accurately represented the accommodations It’s in a beautiful and quiet area of Rolla. Joe, the host, was very accommodating and friendly (Linda was out of town so we’ll meet her next time). The working farm added a fun element with some farm animals around. We will surely stay at the cabin again the next time we are in Rolla.

I couldn't be more grateful for this place and Sue, I was here for the last 2 months of my pregnancy waiting for my husband to graduate from FLW. I was extremely comfortable here, anything i needed or had concerns about Sue made sure i was taken care of,Blue jay farms will forever have a place in my heart.

We loved our stay. The privacy, the closeness to caves and streams, and the ease of our stay made it a great time. My one concern is that we didn’t understand the different levels of the house that resulted in steps up and down between areas. That was doable for us but could make a stay difficult for others. I have no hesitation staying there again but it is a consideration if you have mobility issues. Thank you for your hospitality!

Jenna was a great host, very responsive to questions. Her place is very secluded and peaceful. All of the farm animals came to visit every day! 😊 The internet didn’t work, no cell service and no TV but that was a blessing in disguise, we were completely disconnected from everything! If you want seclusion, peace and relaxation this is the place!!

The cabin is comfortable and is exactly as described and pictured. Entry to the property and the cabin was easy, and Theresa provided clear and timely instructions. The grounds are private and peaceful. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful cabin that met and exceeded our group's needs for the weekend. I give this place 5 ⭐️. The only note I would give to parties interested in renting is that the backyard (from the house to the firepit area) is very steep. If you and your guests are able-bodied then this is no issue, but if you have guests that have disabilities or are older then this hill might present a bit of a challenge.

My boyfriend and I brought our dog for a quiet relaxing weekend and to be in nature. We loved the place!! We wish we would have explored her property more but we didn’t find the map until we were cleaning up to leave. Overall we loved the cabin and horses being so close and friendly.

We came for my son’s army graduation and we couldn’t be more happy with the place that we picked to stay! Shelly made us feel right at home, even invited us to her house for my grandchildren and my daughter to play! When we got snowed in, she made sure she brought us food! She’s an absolutely amazing person and if we ever come back, we’re definitely staying with her!!!! our state was absolutely perfect because of her!!! The kindness she showed my family was absolutely unbelievable!!!

This was our second time at one of Jessica's properties, and we loved them both. Beautiful rural surroundings, private, very clean, and rustic. There are towns close by but you are far enough away to defuse. This property is also easy to find. Since the property is part of a cattle ranch we have also purchased beef both times, and it is outstanding. The TV was easy to use and the kitchen had whatever you needed to cook. Exactly what we were looking for.

There was a big storm that came through as we were driving in that knocked out the power and Theresa updated us as events were happening so we knew what to expect. We didn't get in till after midnight so having a responsive host was amazing. Mark came down to the cabin the next morning with an update on the power and Theresa continued to keep us in the loop as we got out an explored the area. Our cabin was fantastic with the perfect amount of space for our family of four plus our dog. The instructions were simple and reasonable. We made several meals in the kitchen, watched a movie and played a board game and put a pin in their map showing where we came from. The beds were comfy and the WiFi was good. All in all, we spent some great family time in a beautiful wooded setting with big windows to enjoy the outside without having to be out in the crazy spring weather! Thanks for sharing your home!

We loved our stay in the cabin - very peaceful and comfortable and well-equipped. Word of warning that the kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes, etc, but is missing a few items we hoped for - cooking oil and a big pasta pot, for example. We figured things out and didn’t consider it a huge drawback, but thought it would be useful for people to know when they’re grocery shopping! We loved having the fire pit for some camping-style dinners.

Aunt Phoebe's Cabin was everything my husband and I wanted it to be and more. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind from our busy lives. "Living" off-grid isn't for everyone, but we loved it and it allowed us time to unplug and focus on one another. Kathy and Heather were kind and helpful and quick to respond when we reached out with any questions. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.
