Saint Leonards : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Jo and Peter were superb hosts, friendly, informative with a delightful continental type breakfast too, we never felt rushed and they were very unassuming with their flexibility. We would definitely recommend a stay with them and intend ourselves to stay again.

This was the perfect place for our NYE trip with friends. We were 3 couples and a dog and it accommodated us perfectly. For us the open plan kitchen, dinning area and lounge were what made it. Perfect for hanging out, cooking, and chatting. We enjoyed lots of muddy walks, including a nice trail to the pub in Clayhill, which we also loved. It was a proper traditional, old school pub. Would definitely love to come back to stay in Boxwood again. Thank you, Tim.

Lovely relaxing weekend at the coast out of season. Very cosy place. Very short walk to the beautiful beach. Lots of thoughtful touches and very clear and helpful instructions prior to arrival. Sunshine even came out for us too!

We were a family of two couples, two children and a baby, plus a grandmother. Anna was a great host, always available both before and during our stay. Her place is lovely, warm and welcoming. The walk to the beach is easy and at low tide we found lots of shells. For those without a car, there is a regular bus service from the train station in Rye that take just a few minutes, and there is private parking for two cars. This was our second visit, and it was just as good as the first. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely couple of days, Linda was there to greet us when we arrived and answered our questions about the area and where things were. The room was clean and more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast items supplied made it really easy in the mornings and the flapjacks on our arrival were delicious with a cup of tea. It is in a quiet area but a short walk from the beach and shops. If we were in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Great cottage in a really nice area with lots to do around. 15-20 minutes to a lot of great sightseeing, minutes away from a cute city center with pubs restaurants and shops. Great host, flexible and very clear. The place was cosy and clean. Really enjoyed as a family and a sweet touch from Tess to provide some ginger bread and basics dairy and eggs to get us started in the morning!

Liebe Jeannette, wir haben uns bei dir sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück wurde uns gerichtet und serviert, einfach aber vollkommen ausreichend, und dazu noch ein nettes Gespräch. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

Wir hatten als Familie (mit Hund) einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Adrienne und Nick. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, sehr gemütlich, mit Blick auf das Meer und einen schönen Garten. Das Haus liegt zentral und zugleich ist es sehr ruhig. Vor allem ist es ein wunderschönes Haus mit Charakter, mit toller Kunst und vielen Büchern. Adrienne und Nick sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Danke dafür. Beide hatten tolle Tipps für St Leonards, Hastings und die Region drumherum. Man kann vom Haus aus direkt los spazieren zum Meer, ein paar nette Restaurants sind direkt in der Nähe und noch viel mehr gibt es in Hastings.

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle who stayed in Alex's bnb when I was getting married last weekend. They were delighted with the accommodation, it was lovely clean and cozy and filled with treats! Alex herself was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for them during their stay. They wanted me to send their big thanks for making this exciting weekend extra special! I also wanted to say that Alex was really great with communication and directions provided perfect details of where to go and always made herself available. This is our third time staying. Place was clean and welcoming. Hosts are responsive and very kind in dealing with our messages as we had to shorten stay. Will definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at the Design House. The house has fantastic interiors, whilst also being very welcoming and cosy. Marshall was an absolute gem and allowed us to store our bags at the house before the official check in time and also gave us extra time on the Sunday, which was much appreciated! She also gave my dog the warmest welcome, so definitely a dog friendly stay! Would happily stay here again, as the location is so close to the beach and great restaurants.

Tam and Ed were absolutely wonderful hosts! very helpful and went out of their way to assist us couldn’t have been friendlier! The place is beautiful and in a wonderful spot would highly recommend it. We are definitely going to come back well worth the trip from Sydney to go there!

We had a great stay in a lovely apartment perfect for our long weekend. Nice private road in easy walking distance of town and seafront and used as a base for the Brighton Marathon weekend. Would definitely recommend it if looking to stay in that area again.

We had a lovely stay at Kate’s Airbnb. The room was well presented and above the garage at the end of the garden. It was extremely peaceful. All the boxes were ticked for how I measure an Airbnb. Good shower, comfortable bed with decent pillows and a very attentive host who had arranged some fresh flowers for the room and thought about what to leave for breakfast. I would be happy to recommend Kate’s Airbnb to anyone and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kate. Bill Herbert

It was a treat to stay at Simons place, interesting history which made the stay a bit special.

Lovely place. We stayed over on a break away from the kids. It's not as close to the beach as we thought but still managed to drive there. A few rooms in the property and we had a lovely sleep on an amazing mattress. The shower was tops! Darren was on hand for whatever we needed and the place was lovely & clean. We made use of the sauna and hot tub which was definitely needed to relax us. Thank you for having us.

Caroline and Gary gave us a very friendly and informative welcome and their lovely black Labrador! The house is in a beautiful area and is full of character, very clean and gorgeous comfortable bed. Only a five minute car journey to the beautiful town of Rye with many nice restaurants. Home cooked bread for breakfast and a brownie on arrival were a delight.

Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The place is in such a lovely setting along with the space being cosy and inviting! We hope to return again to explore the beautiful area further!

I would absolutely love to stay here again. Lovely couple and a really lovely place to stay. It was a perfect location to stay after a wedding in Ticehurst. The room was absolutely spotless! Lovely comfy beds to sleep in and fresh linen. It was exactly what we needed. The breakfast was best Ive had in a long long time and lots of choice! 10/10 Worth every penny. Lovely place , weekend stay right on a farm lots of wildlife from cows sheep horses birds and bats , and not to forget Mac and Bumble the hosts dogs always there to greet you when returning back from a visit out , Host lovely friendly and helpful very relaxed stay did us a treat , Jane even stoked up the stove (fire ) for us , it was a lovely weekend .

We had a great stay at Melanie’s B&B. The house and room was clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and water was provided free of charge. The breakfast was buffet style with a great variety of options (including vegan option). All foods were high quality. The beachfront, hiking trails and the city center are in walking distance. Melanie is super friendly and made us feel at home straight away.
