Sainte-Lucie : locations de vacances en bord de mer

During my stay the villa was very quiet and didn't have many people staying. I had the pool to myself everytime I used it. The island isn't much for walking, plan to use a taxi or rent a car. There were a few restaurants, the ferry is very useful to get across the bay. The accommodations were exactly as shown and expected other then the fact I had turn down service where day which I wasn't expecting. Staff at the reception were beyond helpful.

Our stay at Ginger Cottage was incredible! The cottage is located above the beach and has a beautiful view of the bay, and very nice for watching sunsets. When we arrived, we met George, who helped us get across the bay in the ferry and showed us the way to the cottage. He was very helpful in getting to know the area! The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable, the only thing to keep in mind is that there are no actual window panes, insulated walls or A/C so the temperature largely depends on outside weather. When we stayed there, it was high 70s, low 80s so this was not an issue. Multiple fans are also provided to cool down if that’s a little too warm for you. The only problem we ran into was that the WiFi didn’t work properly as it didn’t reach into the cottage very far, but Lucretia was very communicative and explained that it was a new router and it didn’t have the same reach, so she would install a new system after our stay for future guests. Highly recommend this place!

Beau petit logement cozy, très propre, sécuritaire et il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour notre séjour. La vue de la terrasse est sensationnelle. Nous avons bien apprécié l'espace lounge et la piscine. L'hôte Patricia est très réactive, répond rapidement à toute question et son conjoint Justin qui était sur place était toujours à l'écoute des besoins de ses locataires et tellement adorable, de même que Keizah, la gestionnaire immobilier. Je vais aussi m'ennuyer de ma nouvelle amie, Polka Dot, une mignonne petite chatte. Sainte-Lucie est vraiment une île à découvrir et ses plages sont magnifiques. Il est préférable de louer une voiture durant le séjour. Je recommande vivement la Ville Flamboyant. ❤️

Maggie's place is truly wonderful. The views of the ocean are incredible and access to a basically private beach is unbeatable. Since you are on the Atlantic side of the island, there is some risk of seaweed buildup on the beach but there are still parts of the beach to lay on. There was some bad planning on the hosts part for some construction happening right beside the house which disrupted on of our days, however when we mentioned this, they rescheduled the construction to a later day when we left. This was much appreciated and a sign of a great host. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time away from the tourists on the West side of the island and relax in a home with a nice ocean breeze and some nice wavy waters.

Stephen was very responsive anytime I had a question. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend.

This was an amazing house. The location was fabulous and our host Esther was top notch. She was able to provide all of us massages in our balconies, make dinner reservations and placed our orders, and book excursions when needed.

This has easily been one of our favourite Air B&B stays. The studio is surrounded by a lush garden where you can watch hummingbirds and butterflies from the very comfortable veranda. It's clean and has all the amenities you need. You are about a 25 minute walk from either the town/shops or the beach in the opposite direction. There's a very good restaurant directly opposite but note that it is mostly only open during the day. What made the stay really special are the hosts Ellen and Jimmy who were the most welcoming and helpful hosts you could wish for! Would definitely recommend this place 😊

M&MCanada: so impressed with the kindness & generosity of the people of Laborie, including Carlyle and housekeeper Loan. It is a poorer fishing village, which requires some adjustment. The beach is "ok" & nicer spots enjoyed at the end. Anything we needed - met with an immediate response. The apartment can be described as a cottage vibe with an outstanding ocean view & cute decorating touches. As a Caribbean island, subject to humidity, salt air, maintenance is a constant challenge, and practically everything has to be imported at higher costs. We always bring some food/snacks. The pool was far nicer than expected & kept very clean - pictures should be posted - it is very much a bonus with an outdoor shower and lovely sea view! Laborie has the most friendly beach dogs ever! Stewp and Tripod hung out at Azur & walked with us. We rented a local taxi for a great island day tour. Car rental: not necessary for us. We wanted a peaceful, chill vacation. Loved our stay! Hope to return.

Do yourself a favor and book. Our stay was exceptional—romantic and beautiful. Charles and Charmaine were amazing, and we were so pleased with the apartment. Can’t recommend it enough!

Ma Villa is without doubt one of the loveliest villas on the island. For a quiet holiday, set in a stunning location, it ticks all the boxes. We spent many happy hours relaxing in the pool, from where we could enjoy stunning views of the garden, pitons and ocean below. Evenings were spent on the terrace watching the sun go down, eating locally caught fish and listening to the ocean below. Although not located in one of the more ‘touristy’ areas, this property allows you to soak up the culture of real St Lucia. The people, countryside and local amenities are all a delight. Thank you Danielle and Noelita for sharing the magic of your island and going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If returning to St Lucia in the future, we would without doubt be choosing Ma Villa.

We had an amazing 5 days at Simon’s apartment. It really has the WOW factor! When you walk in and see the beautiful decor and furnishings along with the panoramic views all around the bay. You will find everything you need it’s just like home from home. The bay is a hive of activity, we really enjoyed sitting on our balcony people watching and seeing the beautiful boats come in and out. There are a few restaurants close buy which you can get to by water taxi which is fun. The little beach across the bay is not the best as it’s not the cleanest and the water is quite murky. However we did visit it a couple of times as it has lovely sunset views on an evening. Would highly recommend The Villa restaurant which is situated up the hill. When you make a reservation they send one of the staff down to pick you up in a buggy and take you to the restaurant. Food was excellent the Lobster was great as was the champagne! Overall I could not fault a thing,it really is one of the best! Thank you

We had a lovely week at Sea La Vie. Simone was a great host; quick to respond before we arrived and met us at the apartment to show us around and answer any questions. She then checked in with us and was quick to respond to any messages. The apartment is well located, a couple of minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the Rodney Bay Malls, restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment itself is thoughtfully equipped, with beautiful towels for different trips out eg. the beach, sulphur pools, beach chairs and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is labelled so it is easy to use. There is a lovely pool area, which we largely had to ourselves. There is currently some construction work taking place during the day. I would recommend a stay here, a very comfortable home from home.

My wife and I stayed there with my son and we really appreciated the privacy of the two master suites separated by the living area. The pool was great! The location was convenient halfway between the airport and Soufrière making it easy to see a variety of places within 30 minutes driving. We particularly would recommend Michelle’s Villa for the privacy it afforded us.

Wonderful place!! The location and views are absolutely stunning. They recommended Simple Transfer for transport, incredible as well. Go to the grocery before you get there because you will not want to leave!

Paradise, gorgeous, beautiful, tranquil, remote, safe, priceless- does not do this place justice- John was great, and his place created fairytale memories for us. Our property host, Noeliesa was awesome, she showed us around and had cold Piton beer and other staples in the fridge upon our arrival. We used Randy as our driver, recommend by Noeliesa and he was great! Highly recommend doing this! They also offered plated meal service, delivered fresh and hot on real plates- presentation and taste were that of a high service restaurant- get the octopus! Plan some days (most days) to just stay and enjoy this paradise property. At night the stars were stunning. We hesitate leaving this review because we want to book again and be able to find availability. Our entire stay we counted 6 people on the beach, it’s basically yours. The ATV tours pass by, but quickly and do little to distract you. Thank you again, John, Noeliesa, and Randy! We will be back, for certain!

Our stay was a delight and a great warm holiday away from the cold English weather. Suzette was very accessible and quick to respond to a variety of questions, including arranging a car seat for the taxi from the airport which was very helpful (especially for 90 min taxi ride). Location was great, 5 minute walk from the beach and a very safe outdoor space for a family with two boys under two years old. Rodney Bay had everything we needed and the marina, Pigeon Island and Windjammer Resort are short taxi rides away. Jacques is a restaurant walking distance away which is really recommended, especially for the ambience.

Très beau logement, résidence sécurisé et paisible. Les salles de bains sont très grandes. Il n’y a aucun défaut. C’est une pépite rare à SteLucie. Kimberly est une hôte très sympathique, toujours prête à aider, très arrangeante ! J’espère vite refaire un séjour chez elle.

We had an amazing time at the Still Beach Resort! Excellent location - you can get on the beach in 30 seconds! The space was clean, nicely appropriated; the bed was very comfortable and the deck area spacious with a nice breeze. It was super walkable to town, and just down the beach there were lounge chairs and shade huts for rent ($20US/day), food and drink vendors, etc.. The restaurant below the condo (separate ownership) was a nice amenity; 2 out of 3 meals were great. Roads are mostly well paved but very curvy, be prepared if sensitive to motion sickness. Taxis worked out well. There is AC in the bedroom but it was hot in the living space. The portable fan was broken. The bathroom is open to the bedroom at the top so no sound privacy. The view of the PiIton from the deck was mostly obstructed by vegetation but amazing ocean views. We needed a few things; Melicia and her team were very responsive. A few more utensils and kitchenware would be a good addition. Highly recommend!

Angela and her family are VERY kind, quick to respond and helpful. The Apartment was Beautiful, with a stunning view over the water and very well equipped. Everything we needed was there, especially the ceiling fans worked really well and quietly. The beach can be reached by foot and is very nice and was surveilled by security guards whenever we were there. You can also walk to the capital of St Lucia or grab a Taxi to another place.

We had a phenomenal stay with Shelba- such a kind, thoughtful, and responsive host. She even went as far as to leave us fresh veggies by our door one morning and helping us arrange meal delivery after a long travel day. And so many thoughtful touches in the room! The photos don't do justice to how truly gorgeous the Pitons view is. We stayed 4 nights but wish it could have been longer! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at Carolyn’s condo. It is very modern, clean, quiet and safe while being in close driving proximity to everything the north side of the island has to offer. The condo is fully equipped with anything you may need. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the condo and is very quiet and private, the sargassum is removed every morning by tractor so the beach is very clean. Our young son really loved the beach and huge pool that is right beside the apartment. This is a great place to stay if you want the cleanliness and amenities of a modern resort without the crowds and noise. We only saw two or three other families in the entire condo complex during our time here - so we had everything to ourselves. Cleopatra and Carolyn were extremely helpful and communicative. This is definitely a 5 star property and one of the best finds on the island.

We had a great time at Marvin Villa. The view is amazing and we found ourselves sitting poolside (alot) just to stare and relax. Heather and her sister Brenda were very responsive - even to the point of delivering water and flashlights, extra batteries when the power briefly went out in the neighborhood. We cooked some light meals in the kitchen which had what we needed. Lots of great restaurants, some within walking distance. We took the Carnival Sailing Catamaran tour (recommended by Heather) to see the Pitons and experience the mud baths. Definitely worth our time and money and recommended to future guests.
