Fantastic villa with beautiful views, spacious, serene & comfortable. We went as a family of four, (2 under 2), and the place was exceptionally comfortable for us. Even though the house does have stairs, there was plenty of space for our toddler to play and roam the balcony etc. Amanda has a delightful villa manager who looked after our initial shopping needs, extra baby equipment that we decided to rent (bedrail) and was on hand to deal with any queries we had. The rooms were very comfortable, super king bed ensured we didn't miss home one bit with AC in the bedrooms. The showers were great, spacious, clean and with good pressure. The kitchen was great, with pretty much every utensil we required and a large american style fridge freezer. The views from the balcony transport you into an idyllic place and I could sit there for hours enjoying the cool breeze. We did not use the pool on this visit however we did use the hot tub which was lovely and ready for us to use. Highly recommend.

An excellent location for easy beach access, great restaurants and incredible sunsets. This is a wonderful property with super amenities and very comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed the layout of the house and the ability to sit outside in the sunshine and relax. The pool and tennis courts were steps away, but never noisy and the community was peaceful and a great place for a vacation. The monkeys wandering around were a real bonus! Carl and Marcia were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this location for spending time in beautiful Barbados. It was our first visit but will not the last.

The Cottage was as great as the location! The pool and hot tub were our favorite amenities. The rental has all the necessities; two rooms were air conditioned. The kitchen is small but has everything you will need for preparing meals. Bring coffee supplies, espresso machines are rare on the island! There is gated, off street parking for a rental car and the beach is a 3 minute walk where you will find a gas station, which has lots of essentials and a few groceries, restaurants and bars. The location on the island is ideal if you’re looking for a quieter, west side beach spot with a local feel. Speightstown, our favorite spot, is a short drive or taxi / bus ride and has a grocery store, shopping, great restaurants (Local and Co), beach bars with music and a small town Barbados feel. We’ll be back!

Lovely place just as described. Lost in translation was the Hot tub, whirlpool bath rather than a jacuzzi, but no problem. Well set-out and designed. Has all you need to live comfortably, and would reccomend as a place to stay.

We had the best stay at Sugar Hill Resort, the apartment and all furnishings were of a really high standard with absolutely everything you could possibly need. All communication was perfect and we thought it was great value. The location was so peaceful yet just a few minutes drive from the beach and restaurants. If we had longer we would have made use of the Fairmont but enjoyed the resort pools too much. We would definitely come back. Thank you 😊

Jeff and Vicki's place was perfect! It is on the slower side of the island so it was great for relaxing and enjoying each other's company. They were extremely responsive and left some snacks and a few beers to get our vacation started. Amazing views of the ocean! Looking forward to staying again when we return.

What can we say “what a beautiful home you have “we can’t wait to come back, we loved everything above it , thank you for sharing , the decor is such a delight and the complex is so beautiful the pool the clubhouse the tennis and of course the icing on the cake the padel .

As we had stayed in Vuemont before we knew the location. The villa was clean and comfortable, but a few scatter cushion would have been helpful. Great deck, very breezy and shady, which is great, but only 2 lounging chairs, not a problem for us. It is probably the best Villa we have stayed in. The house manager was very responsive and the cleaner was very thorough and on time. The kitchen was fully equipped for all our needs, we self cater nearly all our meals. The local supermarkets have all you need at reasonable prices (for Barbados!). There was a brand new dishwasher, which is rare in Barbados and we looked after it, by adding salt and a little rinse aid, but rinse aid is hard to come by in Barbados, so you might want to bring some with you. Remember the water is 'hard' so needs all the help it can get! You will need a car but some of the best beaches are only a 5 minute drive down the hills. Will be returning to have our winter sunshine fix.

Where do I start! I had an amazing time here, with memories to last a lifetime. Engrid and the family were the perfect hosts and made me feel like part of the family. The location and accommodation was perfect and just what I need during my 3 week stay. Engrid went above & beyond expectations and the warm welcome I received was amazing. Engrid arranged a taxi from and to the airport and even arranged a car for my 3 week stay that was all reasonably priced The Lodge was clean and had everything I needed with a beautiful terrace where I would eat my meals every evening. Very private accommodation but Engrid & family members are at hand if needed. If you are looking for a peaceful country side retreat that is no more than 30 mins away from most attractions & parishes, then this is the place. I can’t wait to go back and stay here again and enjoy the peaceful views & sounds of nature once again. Thank you Engrid!

Jason and his family were excellent hosts. Great communication before check-in and always on hand to answer any questions throughout my stay. The room also has everything I needed with some very thoughtful touches I did an adventure hike through the rainforest with Jason as my guide, which was absolutely unforgettable and I’d definitely recommend doing this. The area is very secluded but there’s a few small convenience stores selling what you need. I found the local people are amazingly friendly and there’s a great sense of community in this small village. Is definitely recommend visiting this part of Barbados.

We had a very enjoyable stay with beautiful views. A lovely Villa, clean with lots of space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The host was very responsive and dealt with any issues very quickly. We certainly recommend it.

We had a great stay at the WKD beach lofts! The beach across the road is beautiful!The rooms are spacious and there’s plenty of communal space on the rooftop, Daniel is super friendly and is always happy to help.

As a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers we really enjoyed our stay at Lion Castle. The apartment is spacious and has great views from all sides especially the rear balcony where Polo horses graze and you can see the coast which means great sunsets. The estate is spacious a d well keptand the pool area is a beautiful setting. The pool was a great bonus for our kids. The driveway to the estate is majestic and you could never tire of the site of the palm trees that line it as you approach. Elizabeth was a great host and extremely helpful and attentive as were other family members also within the grounds. The location is peaceful and beautiful and ideal for exploring the whole island as it is centrally based. How was others have said you do need a hire car but I would recommend that for anyone visiting the island who really wants to explore its beautiful beaches and scenery wherever you stay. Overall we had a fantastic 2 weeks and would definitely recommend Lion Castle and host Elizabeth

My friend & I chose to stay at The Tree House for a couple of days when we first arrived at Barbados. Delroy was easy to chat to prior to the stay & very responsive whilst we were there. He arranged a local taxi to meet us at the airport & Romel was brilliant; taking us to a supermarket on the way & welcoming us to the island. The Tree House is wonderful; so clean, beautifully designed & a great place to stay. We hired a car from our host to drive to local beaches, and walked through the sugar cane fields in the local area. The whole process was smooth from start to finish & Delroy really is the perfect host. Thank you Delroy you know I’ll be back 🙏

Peter is a very generous and thoughtful host. He went above and beyond to make our stay unique and special, with many surprises and special touches along the way. It was a stay unlike any other we have had in Barbados and we would highly recommend to anybody looking to experience the wilder side of the island. The estate is a lush, tropical paradise, with an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty all around. The accommodations have a harmonious 'indoor / outdoor living' quality, where you feel at one with nature right away. Our toddler loved roaming around freely, collecting flowers from the ground, looking out for monkeys and swimming in the pool- especially when the dogs came to visit. Thank you Peter, for such a special experience. We very much enjoyed your company and hope to come back for longer next time!

We had a fabulous 8 day stay. The cottage is well equipped and is perfectly placed for shops,beaches,bars and restaurants. There is a short cut to the supermarket which we found priceless when carrying groceries. The sunset crest club was minutes away and has excellent facilities for a day round the pool. We ventured out along the beaches which were beautiful and empty. Shopping centre is close by also. Lizbeth and Patrick very helpful and lovely owners even helped us out with some milk which was hard to come by. Would definitely go again but I’d go for longer next time.

Janlyn and Gary where so welcoming. The apartment is in a great location . It is in walkable distance of fantastic beaches , great for swimming and snorkeling . It was great to come back from the beach and cool off in the swimming pool . There’s a wide selection of restaurants and bars nearby . We loved ‘ Happyness’ and The Fisherman’s pub . Caboose is also great for Fish Cutters and rum punch . It’s our 3rd time at Janlyn’s and we look forward to returning soon .

Marcia the host is fantastic - very responsive and helpful. We stayed at the villa for the second week of our vacation as we had 2 kids (3 year old and 4 month old) and our family friends were joining us with similar age kids - the place worked very well for us - leveraging the communal pool, the garden area and tennis courts daily. The private plunge pool was also a hit with the kids. The beach is within walking distance though we preferred to drive back down the coast (10min) to explore other beaches and restaurants. Gated residence gives an element of security and privacy though Barbados is typically very safe.

Great village in a tranquil location. Amazing terrace, very good equipped, clean villa with everything you need. Great value, just a 5 km away from Heywood beach or Nikki Beach. Just remember to have a car for moving around the island. Faith was very helpfull. Thank you once again.

Roseanne is a wonderful and gracious host who made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. She checked in with us through the app within minutes of our flight touching down. We got a little lost, thanks to Google Maps taking us down every secondary road possible to supposedly save us time. If I had just stuck with Rosannes directions we would have been fine. The apartment was clean and tidy and looked just like the description. Comfortable furniture, a television with a good selection of channels, a beautiful dining table and chairs, several outdoor seating options and of course the good sized private pool. We even had a few Monkeys come by to say hello when we we're sitting on the pool deck or swimming. Beaches and shopping are less than 10 minutes away if your up to renting a car. Roaeanne is an absolute pleasure to deal with, and is a lovely person to get to know

Super emplacement, très belles vacances à 4 couples nous étions très confortable. Béatrice la femme de ménage était une vraie perle attentionnée. TOUJOURS à l’écoute de nos demandes, tellement que J’aurais voulu la ramener au Canada LOL Je recommande fortement cet endroit. Un petit paradis avec les belles piscines, la plage tout près et d’excellents restaurants. Merci pour ce superbe séjour dans votre île paradisiaque

Lisa was friendly and very helpful from the point of initial contact and throughout our stay. Apartment is in a beautiful location. Although Port St Charles is a sizeable marina, it always felt private and was peaceful. All staff onsite were professional, friendly and helpful. Complimentary water taxi service was very much appreciated, between apartment to beach, pool and restaurant areas. Saying that all were within walking distance too. Both of Lisa's housekeeping ladies were friendly and did a superb job. Would certainly recommend this property.

This would be my second time staying at the same house (different floor/listing) and it was just as expected. My flight came in very late and Jan was awesome with directions on how to get in and even had a few things to start us off for breakfast. She communicated during the trip very well. If there were any issues (very rare) someone was there the next day. I would highly recommend staying at her listings.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It felt very spacious and comfortable with a lovely deck overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. The house keeper and gardener were very friendly and helpful. We loved being within such close walking distance of Gibbes beach, which was a very manageable few minute stroll with a baby and toddler.
