Every step of the way - John was a a great communicator, making sure we had all the information we needed for our visit and the surrounding area. His cozy get away, is surrounded by beautiful nature, very private and yet only 10 minutes from the town of Annapolis Royal with all the amenities. The open fireplace, with lots of DRY wood and kindling was a bonus as the weather was stormy during our visit. John also checked in with us a few times to make sure we could get in and out of the driveway during the storm. 2 lovely balconies would be perfect in the summer for sitting out and looking into the trees - and which we were able to use this trip for barbequeing in the snow storm:) Very dog friendly as located off the main road and km of trails right out the door for walking off leash or snowshoeing. Would absolutely return at any time of year!

The view from the home was absolutely stunning! We had a wonderful few days here. Karen was very helpful, even suggesting things we could do in the area. We went to The Launch Party and it was worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to visit the surrounding area such as the local Wineries, Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. At the end of the day, the log home was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunset on the lake. We made great memories this week. Thank you for sharing this beautiful log home with us.

I would highly recommend this location and booking with Kara! She was a great host who was very responsive and very accommodating. The place was very clean and was exactly as advertised. It was even decorated for the holidays which game it an at home-like feel. It was a great location for a large group with a large couch in the living room and a large dining table which could accommodate everyone in the group. If I’m ever looking in the area again, I would definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. While there was a sight mishap, Tracey was very responsive and resolved the issue no questions asked. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were looking to host a family Boxing Day dinner for 14 people and then stay and relax for a couple days afterwards. Tania was receptive to our plans. She let us know there may not be enough seating for that many people to sit down so we came prepared with an extra table and some folding chairs. We had tons of room. The living room was very spacious with comfortable chairs and couch. The wood stove made it very cozy. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. We couldn’t have found a better place for our get together. I highly recommend this place and Tania as a host. Happy New Year everyone. Dean & Cindy Magarvey and Zola.

We had a great stay at Celina’s! Communication with Celina leading up to our stay was fast and fabulous, quite possibly the best I’ve experienced! She was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Check-in was smooth and easy. The place was as advertised and pictured in the listing, with nice big windows and lots of natural light. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The entire setup was perfect for us and our 3-year old. The street and neighbourhood were very quiet. We loved being within walking distance of the trail along the river - highly recommended - and a nearby playground for our little one. No problems encountered at all during our stay; would definitely recommend Celina’s place!

I couldn't find a complaint if I tried! Definitely exceeded my expectations and is at the top of my list of favorite stays. Judy thought of everything and is an incredible host. I'll be back!

We were looking for a memorable experience to celebrate our 50 th wedding anniversary! This beautiful gem was everything we wanted and more. Quiet, serene, beautiful and the hosts were delightful. Friendly and welcoming. We could not have wished for a better experience.

An amazing and peaceful escape to the woods. The cabin is perfect with a beautiful deck and view. Has just the right amount of comfort while allowing you to enjoy nature. Tina and Graham are fantastic hosts, kind people, and take pride in their perfect cabin in the woods. Our dog was welcome and comfortable with lots of space to explore, they even loaned us their visibility vests and a dog bed! We will definitely be coming back.

Another successful stay at Keith's place. we were visiting family for Thanksgiving and Keith was very accommodating and provided heaters for the chilly weekend weather. Always great to stay at this spot!

Just wow! I arrived and asked about a local store or restaurant and Laura offered to prepare something for me. She made a delicious pasta dish that was perfect! Lovely people and I highly recommend this cozy break from the rush of life. I would look forward to staying here again when in the area.

Great property, just as described and like the photos. The fire pit and arcade machine were both a big hit. Highly recommended.

The space is cozy and inviting, and the fireplace? Pure magic. We lit a fire and instantly felt at home. We had the best sleep—so quiet and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave! Everything was so handy—the Barn coffee shop, the brewery, and the pizza restaurant up the road made exploring effortless. We are in love with this spot!
