Saint Monans : locations de vacances avec cheminée

We stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The cottage had a beautiful Christmas tree beside the log fire. Absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is one of the best we have ever stayed in, it's absolutely stunning and I feel the pictures don't really do it justice. The beds, pillows and linen are excellent. We would certainly all stay here again. Thank you, Lara for a warm welcome. We all loved your homemade cake too.

Lovely clean home, very quiet and peaceful. We loved the hot tub too, so easy to fill and heat. The garden seating areas could do with a spring clean, lots of cobwebs, moss etc but still a lovely quiet place to enjoy. The village is small but has everything you need for a short stay. The pub has lovely food and very friendly staff and locals!

Das Haus von Heather ist wunderschön und mit absoluter Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alle Räume sind in ansprechenden Farbkombinationen großartig gestaltet. Ich habe meine Tochter mit Mann und Enkel eingeladen und wir haben uns sehr wohl und schnell wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Energie in diesem Haus ist sehr friedlich und wohltuend. In der Küche ist an alles gedacht. Der Garten ist ein Traum! Wunderbar gepflegt und herrlich anzusehen. Besonders gefreut hat uns das im Boden eingelassene Trampolin, auf dem ich mit meinem Enkel viel Spaß hatte. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Am liebsten wären wir alle direkt dort geblieben.

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

A lovely quiet cottage in the middle of leith. Will definitely book again.

We spent a lovely holiday in your house. We highly recommend it if you go skiing in Glenshee Ski centre. It only took a 40-minutes drive. The parking is easy, just in front of the house. Also the location is good. It only takes a few minutes to get to the supermarkets and restaurants. If you want to dine in or cook, it is also well equipped in the kitchen.

This is the third time we have rented Ashleigh’s amazing home - first for our Son’s wedding and twice for our family ‘Fake Christmas’. It is the PERFECT place to prepare and serve a large family dinner, spacious, great equipment/utensils and comfortable. The house was decorated beautifully with a gorgeous tree, Christmas bed linen and other decorations. Ashleigh even left little treats for our Grandchildren! Her attention to detail is second to none! I truly believe that we couldn’t find a place anywhere more suited to our needs. Ashleigh is extremely attentive and responds to messages quickly and informatively. Nothing is too much trouble. I cannot recommend Ashleigh’s home highly enough. It ticks every box, amazing host, fantastic space and brilliant location. We can’t wait to come back!

Considering how important this building is historically it’s amazing that they let people stay overnight and cook in there! It’s very peaceful except on two evenings a group led by a reenactor were rather enthusiastic beneath the window! Only lasted ten minutes and it wasn’t later than 8.30pm. The bathroom gets rather chilly after 11pm when the heating goes off! A minor inconvenience and there is a real gas fire in the bedroom!

Our stay was wonderful. The price for being in the center of all the action in Edinburgh was incredible. Susie was very helpful and responsive throughout the lead up, during, and after our stay. It was the perfect home base for walking around the city. Unfortunately our schedules didn’t line up to meet in person, but Susie was unbelievably sweet and dropped off some pastries for us in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this home more - it had everything we needed and was a quaint/cozy spot to crash or recharge after all the activities Edinburgh has to offer. Will definitely be looking to book again if back in the city!

We had lovely stay at Gareth’s apartment. It was a brilliant location with just a 5 minute walk away from any popular attractions in Edinburgh. The apartment itself was spotless and even came with essentials like milk, sugar, coffee, and tea. We would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Edinburgh.

Lovely apartment. clean & just like the description. very close to shops, cafes & restaurants, all within walking distance. Close to train station. The only downside of the apartment was the 4 flights of stairs, which were exhausting to the un-fit. We were aware of this on booking though, but if a lift could be installed then this property would be almost perfect. would definitely recommend a stay.

Het was een fijn appartement voor een goeie prijs. Het ligt in een schattig klein dorpje met een leuke pub, restaurant en bakkerijtje. Een leuke stop voor als je de coast hike aan het doen bent!

We were delighted with the spotless , comfortable accomodation. Plenty instructions ,history, advice where to eat etc Artie the dog was very pleased with the treats , And so were we with the chocolates

We really enjoyed our stay the apartment was lovely, very clean and tidy with a homely feel. The views from the balcony of Deans Village were beautiful. Close to coffee shops and restaurants and easy to walk into the city centre or catch an Uber on a lazy day. Ross was also very responsive to any queries we had. Highly recommended

Departamento confortable, muy bien equipado. La ubicación es excelente si se desea conocer la ciudad vieja de Edimburgo, cercano a la estación de tren y a las calles principales. Charlotte es muy atenta . Lo recomiendo.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house in Fife! We were a big group of three families, and the space was perfect for everyone. The house is spacious, well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large group, and the dining area was perfect for family dinners. The location was also great – close to local attractions and beautiful coastal walks. The outdoor space was perfect for the kids to play, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway with a large group. We hope to return again!

The place is amazing! So warm for such a big space because downstairs was all under floor heating, very modern with a lovely rustic feel. Spotless, lovely and clean. The beds were MASSIVE and so comfortable, the showers were brilliant. One of the nicest places I have stayed in, definitely worth the price.

当我们进入庄园的那一刻，简直不敢相信自己的眼睛，简直太美了，无以伦比。我围着房子走了几圈，对于我这样一个爱好摄影的人来说，居然觉得难以用自己的摄像镜头来诠释眼前的美景。周围很安静，房子的前面是牧场，养了很多羊。房子后面有一个花园和草坪，不远处是一条河流，河的对岸有山峰与田野。 一切都美不胜收。在这里，你可以享受美景，静静的思考、冥想。早上起来，还可以见到大尾巴的红松鼠以及不知名的鸟儿。 主人Fiona是一位端庄而美丽的女士，非常热情的给我们介绍了房子的历史和她的家庭，并送了些小礼物给我们。我们也送了Fiona中国带来的普洱茶。我用苏格兰盖尔语称呼了一下Fiona：“A bhean bhòidheach”，然后我们都开心的笑了起来..... 第二天，Fiona还很早起来给我们做了美味可口的羊角包，让我们感受到了主人的热情。清晨，我们还看到了大尾巴的红松鼠，非常可爱！ 一切都是如此完美，我们甚至取消了去苏格兰高地其他地方的行程，就这样静静的待在庄园，享受那甜蜜的静美。 为此，我也拍了很多照片和大家分享，也愿以后来这旅行的人们，能够爱它，能够保护它！

Great area for a short stay!

Ferhan and his wife are great hosts. We enjoyed a beautiful family Christmas. They decorated the house and set up the Christmas tree for us. The property is very well taken care of. Great place for a large family gathering which is why we selected it. House and garden a real hit for both human and canine guests. Garden in particular had lots of options, particularly for energetic children. By closing the main gate it can easily be secured. Location is within walking distance of St. Andrews along the foot / cycle path, though this involves crossing a busy main road. We enjoyed coffees / lunches at Balgove Farm Shop and good old traditional fish and chips from Cromar in the town. Cairnie Fruit Farm (near Cupar) also worth a visit - good cafe and adventure playground, with the benefit of fresh berries in season. All in all a good choice, if a little expensive

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.
