Cynthia and her team were amazing. From the moment we booked until we left, the communication was prompt and helpful. The place is Heaven on Earth! The views are amazing and very private. There are gorgeous paths on the property with exotic plants and wildlife. The hosts have everything you will need, including aloe for sunburns, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, towels, coolers, etc. This is probably the nicest and most well appointed rental we have stayed in. The location is quiet and only a short drive to restaurants, the market, marina, beaches and hikes. However, being at the far end of the island, everything is scaled down and there are fewer people. We found uninhabited beaches and some of the best hiking ever. If you don't like crowds, this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Owners were super nice and easy to work with! Caretakers, Joe and Sally couldn't have been more helpful. My family would love to return to this special house!

A lovely week for our family vacation to St John! Fair Winds is very private, cozy, and comfortable. The VIEW IS AMAZING. We stargazed every night and felt the trade winds cool us off after an outdoor shower in paradise. The kids loved staying in the guest house while us parents stayed in the main house bedroom. Thank you, Margaret for meeting us in Coral Bay and leading us up the mountain so we knew exactly where to go!

One of our best family vacations ever! Cynthia's house is beautiful, super comfortable and has stunning views. The beds were very comfortable and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets outside. The house was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. The property manager even brought us a delicious banana cake warm out of the oven! We loved the location in the more quiet part of the island - a true getaway! But renters should know that there are not many restaurants so cooking at home is best. Also the driving is challenging and the roads are very steep, so you need to be prepared for some challenging driving - but definitely worth the effort!!! The book of tips from the hosts was also very helpful - great tips on best beaches to visit. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds. We especially liked the beautiful view,the hot tub and outdoor shower, and waking up every morning to the sunrise view in front of us. The house was very private,and we appreciated the town of Coral Bay, much quieter and less built up than Cruz Bay. At night the view of the stars from the deck was incredible. The drive to the house is not for the faint of heart, we appreciated Margaret showing us the way the first time up, and we got used to it as the week went on. St John is so beautiful. We had a great week here celebrating our 25th anniversary!

Lynn’s place was perfect for us as 2 couples visiting St. John. Close to everything and with beautiful views, we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was also really well-equipped which was much appreciated!

Emily’s place was a perfect getaway. You can’t beat the view of Coral Bay from the deck. The cottages were very clean, well kept, and had absolutely everything you could need. She was very helpful in providing directions to the cottage and was very easy to communicate with. We have stayed in several other Airbnbs on the island and this was by far the best! We hope to be back next year. Thank you Emily for a perfect week! 10/10

One of the best Airbnb's that I've ever stayed in and I travel alot. So many of the little things: 1) easy listening music playing while u enter 2) fully equipped kitchen 3) washer/dryer 4) smart TV 5) comfy bed and pillows 6) great shower 7) AC in the bedroom 8) antique decorations that just work 9) hot tub 10) lots of seating areas. The most impressive part is the open concept, location. It's like a tree house! Waves crashing, 180 degree water views, serene, private. You literally leave all the doors open, all day lone. Ocean breeze cools it all. You're essentially cliffside, in nature, so there are lots of mosquitos and bugs, but it's not so bad and you can get bug spray. COMPLETELY worth it for the view. Wifi went out, and they had a new router installed the next day! Ben and Zebedee are great. HIGHLY recommend.

Siamo stati benissimo da Andrea, un posto con una vista stupenda in un'isola stupenda. L'alloggio è ben posizionato (meglio però una jeep per raggiungerlo bene perchè il viale di accesso ha una notevole pendenza), molto carino, con una terrazza bellissima, completo di tutto quello che serve per una bella vacanza. Great stay. Recommended and definitely will stay again. Very private, the view is amazing and 2 AC units which help the apartment stay cold during these extremely heat days. A 4x4 is needed to reach the apartment in rainy days. I don’t think the golf cart could reach the unit. Keila is a great host and communication was great. Thank you for everything.

We loved our stay in the Seaside Cottage at White Bay Villas. The cottage was located perfectly, a short walk to many iconic Jost Van Dyke bars and restaurants right on the beach. The cottage was spotless and furnished with absolutely everything we needed. The team at White Bay Villas was incredibly kind and helpful. They made our stay perfect! We would definitely come stay again.

This beach house was absolutely charming—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, just a quick 7-minute drive from the ferry terminal and close to restaurants. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive, providing all the information I needed right away. Alfred was beyond helpful and kind—he even took me to the car rental place, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His warm hospitality truly made my stay even more special. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and comfortable space. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at this St. John gem! If you're looking for a private, authentic island experience, this is it. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making us feel right at home. The house itself is a charming rustic island home with breathtaking views. We loved having two separate living spaces, perfect for our group of two couples. The provided coolers, chairs, and floaties were a fantastic bonus, and we truly felt like we were living like locals. Plus, it was wonderfully affordable for all the amenities and views. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Garden of Eden! Lorraine and Hannah were very helpful with instructions on getting to the house (I wouldn’t recommend this in the dark as there aren’t really house numbers on the island!), and with recommendations. Definitely bring snorkel gear as many of the beaches are great spots to see turtles, rays, fish etc. The cottage had everything you need for quick meals, and the local grocery had main staples (though obviously more expensive than in Saint Thomas and definitely the mainland). The pool is exactly as shown in photos and is a great place to relax and enjoy. There was even a yoga mat in the cottage - and the porch is a great spot for morning practice while looking at the sunrise. Overall, the experience was great. We hope to be back!

Incredible energy, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and secluded from the rest of the world. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to escape on a small island, look no further. Grab a golf cart from Rachel’s rentals and enjoy the freedom of exploring water island! Ingrid was a delight in helping us with anything we needed. Everyone that was working/staying on the property was like minded and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back:)

St. Thomas was great but meeting Mida was my favorite part of the trip. She did more than she was suppose to do. Her personality was a true blessing during this trip. If you guys have de opportunity to book with her, don’t think it twice. After that trip I won a mom in st. Thomas.

If this place is available - book it! We're so glad we stayed here at the cottage on the hill! It was so quiet and very private, yet only a few minutes walk into the hustle and bustle of town. The view from the deck is beautiful. Especially enjoyed watching the large iguana that hung out a few feet from the deck. We didn't have any problems at all with bugs or mosquitos. The cottage is spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Loved the bathroom and shower area. Nice small kitchen. Cooked a meal on the single electric burner. Washer dryer was a nice surprise. Beach towels a bonus. Yes it's a walk up hill from the town, but it's fine. The Dolphin supermarket made getting supplies very easy as you walk past it. You'll need to buy drinking water. Leela kindly had plenty ready for us on our arrival. A little tricky finding the cottage stairs when we arrived. But Leela provides good directions. The stairs take you up up past lush vegetation, it's like being in a tree house.

Skipper cottage was exactly as advertised. Rustic, Cosy, peaceful and easy walk to town (especially with Sylvia's shortcut). Also easy parking which was very helpful. Sylvia's was so responsive and shared lots of insider tips. She also provided beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling equipment for our many beach days. ⛱️

Besides the difficulty to get there because it’s in the hills it was a great place for a relaxing getaway and the view is amazing well worth the stay and will definitely return.

Jan and Billy - your home was even better than the photos- Waking up to that view every morning looking out on the ocean were moments that I will remember forever. Check in, our entire stay and check-out were easy - The beds were very comfortable- ice machine was a nice touch- loved the filtered water and shower was hot! Thank you for your flexibility when our flights were changed- we were so comfortable in your home and we hope to return some day- ❤️

Beautiful place, very clean and well-equipped. There's barely a water view but cottage did not advertise itself as such. A bit of a drive to things but that was balanced by the peace of the location. I'd certainly return in the future.

The stay here was so beautiful, peaceful, and felt right at home. I really enjoyed the surroundings area, long walks, easy check in, and the cooler filled with beach supplies. Kristie was always responsive to every inquiry or concern. I recommend walking to the street light to catch a safari to avoid taxi rates everyday. But other than that, everything was perfect.

This place is absolutely amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The driveway is an epic adventure, but once you do it once, it’s no big deal. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary, and it was the secluded, romantic getaway with the most insaneeee view we could have wished for. We’ve stopped bragging about it to our friends, because we wish we could keep this hidden gem all to ourselves. Hannah was very responsive and if she ever thinks about selling, I will happily take it off of her hands. We will be back!
