Maaaaaannn listen, I Love Love Looooove Fran & Ronel! My first time here 🥹🥲They were amazing hosts from beginning to end. They set up a beautiful “happy birthday” bed spread for my grandmother! We never had a dull day. This place is gold 🌟🇻🇨 Exactly what you see and then some!! What you don’t see in the pics is the breathtaking panoramic views from the balcony. The location is literally perfect! it’s private but well centered. You’re a short walk away from it all; restaurant and spas, bus stops & the supermarket, a nice dip in the warm blue waters of Indian bay, local fruit stands with the juiciest fruits ever; Golden Apple, coconut, mangos, papaya, watermelon,etc. THINGS YOU MUST DO: the ferry to Bequia• Eat from Allan’s bakery in Kingstown & Take some home with you!• Dark view falls• Fresh seafood from Four Shells!• show love to Troumaca✨ All in all, EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING , 10/10, EVERY Vincentian I met was kind & fed me with a smile. Desserie was a fabulous host. She accommodated our every need. The house was really beautiful and clean. We felt at home. Everything we needed was included. There were plenty of lovely white towels and large beach towels also. In the outside space there were plenty of seating areas for different times of day. We loved our 4 night stay at the cottage. It’s exactly like the photos, extremely comfortable and in a prime location on the waterfront. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops and beaches. Kerry was extremely responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. Extra special big thanks to Carlton who looked after us in respect of transport both during our stay at the cottage and afterwards, when we had moved to our second accommodation - friendly, super reliable and his service helped to make our stay even more enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic hosts & gorgeous accommodation. Lee & Jamisha go above and beyond. We arrived late on a Sunday evening & Lee did not hesitate to recommend a local restaurant then he went and picked up our meal for us whilst we settled in. They answered all our queries no matter what time of day we asked & happily helped us arrange some trips & transport. The local people are really friendly too. We felt completely safe & at home. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We’ll certainly be back again!

Monica’s home was exactly as described. She was a very pleasant host and ensured that we were greeted by a fair and friendly taxi driver to bring us to the home. We had the pleasure of staying at both spaces offered in her home and we thoroughly enjoyed them both. The home is perched on the side of a hill and surrounded by lush green vegetation. The indoor/ outdoor living spaces are amazing. The view of the sea and Princess Margaret beach are also remarkable. There is a bar/restaurant, Jacks, right at the bottom of the hill and makes for an easy dinner or for relaxing on the beach. One would think that being close to a bar would be an issue but it is not…it is very peaceful and quiet, not a raucous establishment. It is an easy walk to the main part of town along a path on the coast. We really enjoyed our stay on Bequia and the hospitality of our host. I would highly recommend “shades of blue” for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Here’s the scoop: Location is beautiful, as it is pictured in the listing. Kitchen was cute and contained everything you’d need (we cooked many meals in it). There are tons of lizards which is very entertaining and they eat the bugs which inevitably make it in the building. Now for the less glorious aspects, since it is up in the mountain, and not near any beach, grocery store, etc, everything is either a short 10-15 minute car ride (or taxi, but we found it very difficult to get taxis for such short trips, recommend renting a car imo), or ~1 hour walk hike. We ended up doing a lot of walking the days we were there, which might not be for everyone. Also we should’ve headed Rachel’s advise about the sand flies, we didn’t get bit the first day and stayed out too late the next, and woke up to tons of bites all over us, weirdly they don’t hurt in the moment, but are itchy the next day. Overall, a wonderfully relaxing Airbnb and island, just plan accordingly. (Also go to Bequia!)

Exactly what we were looking for - the view was absolutely amazing - the sounds of the ocean and the occasional sailing vessel added to the landscape. Friendship Bay beach almost felt private and was enjoyable to walk or snorkel from. Host(s) were terrific and easy to contact. Local bus almost at the doorstep and taxis plentiful. Would not hesitate to recommend. Note: there are definitely uneven stairs both to the unit and again to the beach. A bit of a workout but doable for able-bodied folks.
