Masako was the friendliest host we've ever had, she picked us up from the train station (even though we got in at like 11 pm), she showed us the local restaurants on the way to the airbnb, gave us a quick walk through of the place to show us where everything was. she even helped my son with his shoes and to wash his hands. she is always responsive and so incredibly kind! The airbnb was so nice, about a 15 min walk from 2 train stations eith plenty of food options. its like walking into a fully stocked house. so nice! will always recommend her airbnb!

離京都車站很近，離永旺商場也很近。房源乾淨整潔，真的很有日式家庭的感覺，進入房源能聞到淡淡的木頭香，老闆娘很親切、友善且熱情，我們要退房當天還去參觀老闆娘的另一個六人房型的房源，這個房源是日式榻榻米，另一個則偏現代，真的很推薦大家來京都旅遊時，來這住一晚。

The house is located in a small town without much attraction, right by the road. In winter, heating can be a bit challenging since the house is quite large, with a few air conditioners, a fireplace, and two kerosene stoves. The bathrooms tend to be cold. That said, the house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and convenient for cooking. There are a couple of local stores nearby where you can get supplies. The place could use a bit more of a homely touch, but overall, it can be a good deal for many travelers since it has a lot of beds.

We loved our stayed in Keiko's guesthouse for our first time in Kyoto! if you are looking for an authentic Japanese home to stay in, then this is the place for you. This meant there was comfortable floor futon beds for sleeping, minimal low to the ground furniture in the living room, and a small kitchen which is somewhat separated from the rest of the residence (this was originally designed this way due to fire risk reason when it was built probably about 100 years ago). We loved the neighborhood as it was a quieter residential neighborhood yet had tons of little shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We found ourselves roaming the neighborhood to find our favorite spots. It's also quite walkable to many places including Teramachi area, Nishiki market, and the Imperial Palace. Keiko was extremely responsive and friendly when coordinating our booking and getting us any info we needed during our stay. highly recommend!

Ken was awesome. Amazing communication and awesome location within 5 minutes from major train lines and 10-15 minutes walk from a bulk of the touristy things and restaurants you'll have on your list. The shower was different but functional. No complaints. We really only used the apartment to sleep - didn't spend much time there. It was too cold to use the patio but it was a decent size and had a nice view of the river. Ken gave some great suggestions and was extremely responsive.

A beautiful, cozy apartment in the heart of Gion district Kyoto. Location is excellent. We enjoyed seeing geishas and meikos regularly on evening walks just outside the apartment. It was close to hiking trails, many sightseeing destinations, trains, restaurants, etc. In the heart of everything. And yet super quiet, being on 4th floor with no neighbors (above or on sides) in an alley. Only downside is that the kitchen is very efficient, single burner, no counter space, etc. But you should be mostly eating out anyway. Also there is a red light at night in the main room from the fire alarm—we had to cover it with a jacket to sleep. Not sure what other reviewers thought was deceptive—it was as I expected, and honestly the view is phenomenal. Yes there is a parking lot but you can hardly see it and beyond that are the beautiful Kyoto hills and tops of temples peaking out. Tatami room was wonderfully cozy. Furniture and linens were quality. Stayed super warm inside. We miss it already!!

This is a great place to stay when you are visiting Kyoto! It is right in the center of Gion and in a perfect location to be able to walk around at night and get to experience the city. The area felt very safe to walk around at night. The room was very spacious and comfortable, exactly as advertised. The beds were really nice and as an added bonus, there were plenty of outlets for everyone to be able to charge their phones! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!!

Ken’s Airbnb is perfect for those who want to explore Kyoto. The location is great with walkable access to the market, shrines, and more restaurants and bars than you can count. Ken is a wonderful host who made great effort to make sure we were enjoying our trip.

Depending on your style of travel, Kyoto can be an overwhelming place. Seibido Inn felt like a safe house away from the touristy madness, yet still close enough to access the major destinations easily. Some of my favorite parts of my stay were the quiet walks home.

We had the best stay Kyoto. It was the perfect location - walkable to train stations and popular attractions. The home was a beautiful mix of modern and traditional with more than enough space for our group. Hosts were very kind, helpful, and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

这次和好友一起去关西玩，在小黛家住了三个晚上，真的很棒，典雅的日式榻榻米别墅，内部装饰的也很漂亮，住在里面非常有代入感，别墅位处京都富人区，环境非常好，虽然不在市中心但配套设施很好，地铁和便利店都是极短的步行范围内。然后，小黛姐人真的超级好！很热心，入住之前不厌其烦的在微信上回答我各种问题，到京都当天更是开车来山科站接我们，然后给我们详细的介绍京都应该怎么玩，怎么坐车，还让我们碰到问题随时微信上联系她，最后一晚还拿出珍藏的红酒招待我们，给我的感觉不是房东，而是多年的好朋友在日本招待我。

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.

建物、お庭、設備など、随所にオーナー様のお上品で素敵なお人柄が表れていて、大変美しいお宿でした。 ご説明やご対応もとても丁寧で親切でした。 金木犀の香りが漂う絵画のようなお庭でのBBQと焚き火が楽しくて格別でした。ご用意いただいた朝食もすごく美味しくて、最初から最後まで全員が大満足な旅ができました。 機会があれば、是非また訪ねたいと思います。
