Kako’s place is wonderful typical Japanese house. You will find it everything you need and can feel there really like at home. Surrounding is very calm and typical for Kyoto standard living locations. It is definitely worth to be there and we hope to be back. Bus is very close and also metro and train are easy to access within 10 mins walk. Highly recommend the place

We stayed at Shino’s place for 6 nights ， Excellent place and wonderful host! Central to everything around. Walking distance to the train station, in a quite neighborhood. The most comfortable tatami I have slept on!!!:) Shino and あおい is very responsive to our questions and showed great hospitality! Will definitely choose this place if I go to Kyoto travel again !

We stayed three weeks in Hiroe's house and it was wonderful. Hiroe is a fantastic host. I have been visiting Kyoto for forty years, staying in various places but this was the best. I hope to be able to return in the future and I highly recommend Hiroe's house, a very quiet place not far from public transport and the supermarket. Thanks Hiroe!

非常喜欢町屋，很棒，带爸妈住了三晚，他们都说很有家的感觉，三晚完全不够，还想再好好体验町屋的古朴。 交通方面，我觉得京都更适合公交，町屋和206的一站很近，比地铁更方便。到达的晚上十点多了，稍稍有点难找😁因为巷子口太窄了，不过跟着谷歌地图就好。 隔壁就是平安神宫，离开的前一晚和当天暴雪，我们就去平安神宫转了转。京都，一周也不会腻，下次下去还要好好体验町屋。

Kimi and Marilyn were very friendly, helpful and responsive hosts. Their place was just as advertised. They kept it really clean and the house was very complete. It was in a great location as it is easily accessible by bus, train and only a 20 minutes walk to Kiyomizudera. There were also plenty of restaurants close by. Kimi and Marilyn were really nice to come and meet us on our last day to check in with us. We are a big group of 9 and are very happy to recommend this place to future travellers.

Great location, so close to the Kyoto Station. Lots of restaurants around and within walking distance to a big shopping centre. Fantastic accommodation, would stay here again!!!

Our group of 4 enjoyed the only 7 min walk to central Kyoto station. It was spacious for all of us and was affordable when comparing surrounding airbnbs. Some things to be aware of is exit light in the bedroom is bright, construction is happening behind the building (usually didn’t hear much until 830) and the room layout is shogun style. Despite all these, we enjoyed our stay!

Alojamiento muy lindo y tranquilo. Todo es muy silencioso. Si buscas un lugar tranquilo y lejos del ajetreo de la ciudad este lugar está perfecto! Es muy agradable andar en bici por los alrededores lo recomiendo mucho! Hay tiendas cerca y restaurantes muy ricos. Tats fue muy amable.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was spacious yet cosy, got plenty of light, had a nice street view, was tastefully furnished and fully equiped (we didn’t cool but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped), and spotlessly clean. It was also very convenient to shops, restaurants and public transport, and was a refreshing break from hotel stays. May was very helpful and welcoming (she was even waiting for us on the street when we arrived!).

Nice traditional Japanese apartment with kitchen and bath in a quiet residential neighborhood. Quite close to Kyoto University (walking/biking distance). I had a comfortable stay for a week. The hosts Asami and Daniel are outstanding! They went out of their way to help me with everything. Will definitely consider staying here again.

A beautiful small Airbnb with all amenities in one of the best neighbourhoods. Lots of small eateries which serve delicious food and Nishidai market, Gion etc is at walking distance. Perfect place.

The apartment had everything you needed, it was very clean and in a quiet area, very close to the subway station. They always responded very quickly. I definitely recommend it.

Super Unterkunft, tolle Ausstattung, super Lage, sehr zu empfehlen! Wir waren mit zwei Kindern und zwei Erwachsenen für knapp eine Woche in der Unterkunft. Wir wurden vom sehr netten Ehemann von May persönlich an der Haustür begrüßt. Er hat uns die Wohnung gezeigt, Empfehlungen für Restaurants gegeben und alle Fragen beantwortet. Die Wohnung und Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem. Die Gastgeber reagieren auf Anfragen schnell. Die Lage ist sehr gut, es gibt viele Restaurants, Konbinis und einen Supermarkt in direkter Nähe. Man ist zu Fuß in 20 Minuten am Nishiki Market. Der Kodomo Miraikan, ein Indoorspielplatz für Babys und Kleinkinder, ist auch zu Fuß zu erreichen und sehr schön. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder!

Excellent location and host! They even let us drop the luggages a little earlier. The apartment was clean and everything went smoothly.

Overall my stay at this airbnb was great, not too far from the bus stop, about 5-8 mins of walking. Most importantly a 7/11 at the corner of the block. Also a 8-10 minute walk to the store strip such as disney, apple, uniqlo, nike ect. The host did provide towels and wifi which is great. You have access to an elevator so no need to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Izumi was a wonderful host . He always responded quickly to my emails and had great suggestions for things to do in Kyoto. My first night there he took me on a tour of the neighborhood and pointed out land marks like the sakagura. Later we did a bicycle tour of Kyoto together visiting shrines like Tofukuji and Sanjusangendo. The staff at the restaurant next to the airbnb were also very helpful and considerate. Izumi made my 3 month stay in Kyoto a memorable one and I hope to keep in contact with him in the event of my return to Japan.

7人で泊まりました。広く家のようにくつろげ、年配の両親も満足してました。広いダイニングでキッチンの食器もそろい何も困ることがなかったです。河原町にも近く、車できましたが駐車場にも困らない便利な場所でした！

Great location. Lots of space. Good communication, very responsive. Bath was nice, and view out of the windows was a nice feature. Sometimes we could hear the noise late at night from the bar across the hall, but it wasn’t too bad. Definitely recommend.

시조역에서 걸어서 15분 버스로 10분 다행히도 버스가 많이 다녀서 집에 오는건 무리가 없었습니다. 지도보고 찾는건 어려움을 느낄 수 있으나 건물에 바로 ka house 라고 써 있어서 바로 찾을 수 있습니다. 5분도 안되는 거리(버스정거장 바로 앞)에 세븐일레븐 편의점이 있습니다. 집 위치가 주택가여서 아주 조용했습니다:) 집 크기는 아주 작습니다. 캐리어 3개 피기가 좀 어려움이 있습니다. 하지만 짐을 꺼내고 접어 놓으면 괜찮습니당! 청결도는 100%만족이고, 친절함도 100%입니다. 교토 여행의 만족이 숙소 덕분에 한층 더 올라 갔습니다.

Ideal para jóvenes. Muy limpio, cómodo, en una zona excepcional. Hemos pasado diez días maravillosos. Muy recomendable.

아주 좋은 숙소. 가족 혹은 친구끼리 머물기 좋습니다. 현지 감성을 느끼고 싶다면 추천합니다. 다만 나이가 있는 분들은 계단을 오르고 내리기 힘들거 같습니다.
