This was an exceptional place to stay at. Well located to the sightseeing spots of Omihachiman. Though there is some public transport, we found it very useful to rent bicycles at the train station.

很棒的住宿經驗, 這次主要是去滑雪, 而住宿地點離雪場開車不會很久, 附近也有超市可以購買食品, 廚房提供完整的餐具和廚具, 使用的空間也很足夠. 總之如果去到近江舞子或志賀, 這裏絶對是很棒的選擇.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house is either brand new or recently renovated, and it shows—the design is absolutely stunning. Every detail feels modern, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. The space is open, bright, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you could need for a perfect stay. Beyond just being a great place to stay, I was truly inspired by the design—I would love to live in a home like this! If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-equipped, and relaxing space, I highly recommend this place and it’s excellent and nice host. Can’t wait to come back!

The house is located in a small town without much attraction, right by the road. In winter, heating can be a bit challenging since the house is quite large, with a few air conditioners, a fireplace, and two kerosene stoves. The bathrooms tend to be cold. That said, the house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and convenient for cooking. There are a couple of local stores nearby where you can get supplies. The place could use a bit more of a homely touch, but overall, it can be a good deal for many travelers since it has a lot of beds.

This was the perfect place for us to use as our “home” when exploring Kyoto. Easy walk to Kyoto station and the trains. Super clean apartment, with very new and modern decor. Host was very friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend for your trip to Kyoto.

We had a great stay! The space is clean, well-equipped, and in a wonderful neighborhood with good restaurants and sights. Jun was a very responsive and helpful host. I recommend the space and would book it again.

Wow! If you really want a luxury experience in Kyoto this is the place to be! The sauna had to be my favorite part of our stay! We also appreciated the drinks provided in the fridge and would definitely love to stay here again the next time we’re in Kyoto!

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

Sumi's apartment was perfect for us- comfortable bed, plenty of room for 2 people, close to restaurants and convenience stores and the Keihan line trains. It was filled with thoughtful touches and necessities to make our stay more comfortable. Sumi was incredibly generous with her time, providing us with detailed information and suggestions, allowing a very late night check in time and a lift to the station at the end of our stay. When we had a medical issue she organised the necessary pharmacy items we needed and took us to the hospital and waited with us. You could not find a kinder, more helpful host. Highly recommend this accommodation.

This was my third time staying. I have another booking upcoming . It is a sizeable apartment with everything I need to live in Kyoto. the location is perfect for my activities. Sumi makes sure I do not want for anything. the river is a block away, Keihan train is a few minute walk. I look forward to my next stay.

Ken was awesome. Amazing communication and awesome location within 5 minutes from major train lines and 10-15 minutes walk from a bulk of the touristy things and restaurants you'll have on your list. The shower was different but functional. No complaints. We really only used the apartment to sleep - didn't spend much time there. It was too cold to use the patio but it was a decent size and had a nice view of the river. Ken gave some great suggestions and was extremely responsive.

This is an excellent place to stay with a comfortable bed and thoughtful furnishings. Sumi is an excellent host who provides so much useful information and is always willing to help. She even dropped me at Kyoto station after I checked out. I loved the view from the window and the fact that this place is in a quiet neighbourhood but close by to many amenities and restaurants. Perfect host and stay.

This is one of the best Airbnbs I ever stayed in. Spacious room. Excellent location. All the bells and whistles you may ever need and some more. Sumi is an excellent host. She met us at the building entrance when we arrived, led us to the apartment, walked us through all the rules and equipment, and explained where and how to commute from the place. After the checkout, she kindly offered to drive us to the Kyoto station, which was very convenient. I would stay there again if I happen to be in Kyoto.

We had an amazing stay here for a month! The flat is in a great location for getting straight into the Gion district, visiting the temples or walking across the ricer and into the main market and shopping streets of Kyoto. The flat itself is super spacious and has absolutely everything you could need, well stocked with toiletries/towels/detergent etc. Sumi was super helpful with a ton of up to date information - every week she would leave us a bundle of information on what markets were happening or celebrations being held (we found lots of places in japan had irregular opening times). She also made it clear we could ask her for absolutely anything but other than that gave us a ton of privacy. It felt like the best mix of staying at a hotel and a private flat. 200% recommend staying here if you are visiting Kyoto!

地點絕佳，搭公車超方便，又有超商，房間乾淨整潔，樓梯有點陡，搬行李有點吃力，但不是缺點，下次有機會一定會再來住

The place was clean and neat, within walking distance to many different food places, shops, and train stations. Peaceful and quiet at night even though it is near a lot of tourist spots. Second time booking this place as it’s the perfect location for what I needed during my trips to Kyoto.

WOW! We were glad to get May's place in Kyoto for our family of of four, but we were really surprised when we got there. I'd it is much better than the photographs suggest! Much nicer and roomier than we expected based on the photographs. The place is great! The location is great as well with lots of interesting local restaurants, bars, bakeries and cafes on side streets and a short walk to Daimaru, Nishiki market and all the big brand shops. And May was a great host that met us in person and was really helpful when we needed medical care. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

Excellent place and exactly as advertised. Short walk to many buses and Kyoto station. We were travelling with a baby under 1y and needed a crib as well as a kitchen, laundry and space for the baby to play. The place fit the bill perfectly and was a great spot for what we needed. The staff were so helpful and responsive and arranged a crib for us. My only other comment is you definitely hear footsteps and noise from above. It’s not terrible but if you are light sleeper something to consider or bring ear plugs. Our concern was waking the baby or vice versa, us being to loud for others. Minor comment but otherwise perfect and we would stay again and hope to !
