We had an unforgettable stay at Mr. Koen’s villa at Melia Tortuga Beach. He went above and beyond to make everything easy and smooth for us, including putting us in touch with Mr. Silvino, a fantastic local taxi driver who picked us up at the airport and was always just a message away. He and his nephew really made our trip with great tips and insights about the island. The villa itself is simply stunning. Right in front of the beach with a breathtaking sea view. It’s spacious, well equipped, and the private pool is a real highlight. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and ending the day with a dip in the pool was an absolute dream. This place is an incredible spot with excellent VfM, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re leaving in just an hour, and we’re already talking about coming back. Thank you, Mr. Koen, for everything! P.S. Please consider tipping local workers. The minimum wage in Cabo Verde is only 13,000 CVE/month (~120€), and tips make a big difference.

Já tinha estado em Santa Maria e esta experiência conseguiu ser melhor. A casa é igual às imagens mas não estava preocupada com este ponto porque queria mais aproveitar a cidade. A localização é das melhores, em frente à praia e a três minutos do centro. Lugar super seguro, andei sempre de madrugada e até sozinha e nunca me senti insegura. Ao mesmo tempo é um sítio sosssegado e um ambiente familiar. Adorei tudo e aconselho muito! Voltarei em breve!

We have had the most fantastic stay at Luis’ apartment. 😻. For us it was the perfect location in ALL of Santa Maria. Located right on a sandy beach literally a few steps away with stunning views, there’s a little sea harbour and pool for swimming just 10 yards around the corner. However the apartment remains private and quiet. Perfect for relaxing. It is a very short stroll to restaurants and shops, and there is a taxi rank out front of the complex making it super easy to get to and from the airport and also as a pickup and drop off point for excursions. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed including nice beach towels and books. The upstairs veranda is where I spent most mornings having a coffee and watching the sea. There is also pretty bougainvillea (?) growing around the entrance to the apartment. We wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else.

Rafael was very supportive. We were there with a baby and asked for a baby bed and baby chair. We got both. We had a really nice stay. Thank you!

Sehr schöne Meersicht, gross und hell. Wir waren als Paar da, wenn mehrere Parteien sich die Wohnung teilen, kann es wohl recht ringhörig werden. Als wir ankamen, war die Wasserpumpe defekt und wir hatten zwei Tage kein fließendes Wasser. Ines und Rui haben das aber zeitnah geregelt und die gute Nachricht für alle nach uns: Jetzt ist eine neue Wasserpumpe verbaut und es sollte kein Problem mehr auftauchen. Wir mochten auch Santa Maria sehr und haben uns prima erholt. Gerne wieder mal, auch in dieser Wohnung.

Het appartement ligt op een mooie locatie vlak bij het strand en in het centrum. Wat wij ons niet hebben gerealiseerd is dat SAL een party eiland is geworden en de muziek tot 6 uur morgens doorgaat. Als je doof bent of een feestbeest bent is dit een fantastische locatie ben je dat niet dan zou ik oordopjes meenemen. Dus absoluut een aanrader, het appartement heeft goede bedden, de badkamer en keuken zijn prima en de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is goed. Als je geen moeite hebt met muziek in de nacht zeker naar dit appartement gaan.

Lovely villa right on the beach. Wonderful views, peaceful, well appointed, spacious and extremely clean. Both Susana and Doudou were very friendly and kind, and enhanced our holiday experience. The villa is very well situated for walking into the centre of the town and lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby too. Although the interior may require a few touch-ups here or there, these were minor and did not in any way detract from the quality of the property and our enjoyment in staying there. It felt like a home from home but with the added bonus of sunshine, warmth and incredible sea views! Would highly recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at Nina’s apartment in Santa Maria! The location is perfect. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell Nina really cares about her guests – communication was smooth, she was super helpful with local tips, and made check-in a breeze. If you're heading to Sal and want the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cape Verde, Nina’s place is it. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment with a beautiful location right by the beach. The veranda was a real highlight, offering a great view of the lush garden, the pool, and the sea. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it. Nina was a fantastic host – very welcoming and easy to communicate with.

A fabulous apartment, small complex with pool and direct beach access - just as described. Peter was a great host - met us on arrival and gave lots of helpful local tips. The apartment was spotless, very comfy bed, and had everything we needed for our stay. Really recommend it and Santa Maria is beautiful! Thank you 🤩

O estúdio proporciona todas as comodidades necessárias para uma estadia confortável. Dispõe de alguns itens extra que são muito úteis: temperos e especiarias, chá, detergente da loiça… A máquina de lavar roupa é particularmente importante para estadias mais longas. Tem um espaço exterior muito convidativo. A localização é a melhor de Santa Maria, perto de tudo, mas calmo o suficiente para relaxar: em cima da praia, piscina excelente com espreguiçadeiras sempre disponíveis. O condomínio é muito tranquilo, tem privacidade e os seguranças são atentos e simpáticos.

L’appartement est très bien situé. Il se trouve à proximité immédiate de tous les restaurants et commerces. L’appartement est conforme aux photos et à sa description. Il est fonctionnel et très propre. Les chambres sont climatisées et les lits sont très confortables. Nous recommanderions l’appartement à des proches et nous y reviendrions avec plaisir.

Espaço ideal para férias calmas fora da confusão do centro turístico. Caminhada agradável de 15 minutos até ao centro pelo paredão junto ao mar. Tranquilo e seguro.

Loved Marco’s place. Great flat with full kitted out kitchen. Slept really well. Lovely neighbours. Fab coffee/ ice cream shop downstairs, loved sitting there in mornings watching the beach. Always taxis passing to take you to kitebeach which is 5 min drive. Lots of restaurants around and town is 5 mins walk , beach across the road.

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The location was great - directly facing the beach and the pool. Walking distance to everything in town. The beaches down past the pier were wide and offered great swimming with sandy bottom - no rocks. Stefan (local rep) came by when we first arrived. He took 15 minutes out of his busy day to walk us around town and show us the location of things. Very nice man. 2 bedrooms on ground floor with two beds up in the loft above.

Ich habe den Urlaub sehr genossen. Jeder vom Bobby-was-here Team ist super freundlich. Ich bin sehr früh angereist und durfte sofort in die Wohnung, was mich echt gefreut hat! Auf Fragen habe ich schnelle Antwort erhalten und wenn etwas fehlt, wird es kurzerhand besorgt. Schon vor Reisebeginn bekam ich hilfreiche Informationen u.a. über Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und funktional eingerichtet. Es gab sogar einen Haarfön, Duschgel, Spüli, Salz, Zucker, Öl, Tee und eine Flasche Wasser. Der kleine Garten um den Pool herum ist wirklich schön. Aber das beste ist die Nähe zum Meer. Auch im zur Poolseite gelegenen Schlafzimmer habe ich jede Nacht das Meerrauschen gehört. Herrlich!

Alojamiento perfecto para pasar unos días, muy limpio y con todo lo necesario. Tuvimos una incidencia con el wifi y lo solucionaron de seguida.

Britta was so attentive and kind. Fantastic hostess! The apartment was good, with a nice view over the ocean. Nice apartment complex with pool and close to restaurants.

logement exactement comme décrit. le propriétaire fut très réactif, et malgré le fait qu'il y ait eu une coupure d'eau généralisée sur l'île, il a réussi à vous obtenir de l'eau, et relativement rapidement. la literie pourrait être légèrement plus confortable, mais c'est un détail.
