There is so much that can be said. From check-in instructions to location, it was great. Even though we had a jam packed weekend with a Middlebury graduation, it was nice to return to such a serene location. Everything was explained in great detail. With the temperatures that weekend being so frigid, with us Floridians, the heating system made it oh so comfortable. When we were in the house, we enjoyed watching the locals ice fishing on the lake. Maureen went to great lengths to detail the use of everything in the house. If we ever have the opportunity to travel back up in the summer, would love to have use of the space and enjoy the lake.

I stayed at Greg‘s house two long weekends in September and October. I went with several friends and then I came back several weeks later with my family. big beautiful house in a lakefront setting with a really nice fire pit overlooking the lake. Gregg allowed us to use a row boat which happened to be at the property, but usually kept at another house nearby. I did some fishing from the row boat but was unsuccessful. The kitchen is well appointed, and there is a really nice propane grill on the deck. My kids loved the ping-pong table and foosball table in the basement. You should bring your own drinking water as the well water has a sulfur smell.

Thoroughly enjoyed it perfect thank you so much for the extras that hardly any Airbnb provides! My husband says thank you so much for all the wood you provided it saved him from hauling it. We left our kayaks in North Carolina because they would make too much noise however we were surprised to find kayaks and fishing poles available for renters! You really should put that in your ad, may have been the decision point that we would’ve chosen for you It would be nice if all Airbnb were as accommodating as you guys were . based on the extras ! Hopefully nobody in the future takes advantage of you.

We had a wonderful time staying here at Lake Schroon for our girls' getaway weekend. The location is perfect and very peaceful. I loved walking down to the beach every morning to view the sunrise over the mountains. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing and even went into the water. We had a blast going out to a karaoke bar on our first night and then cooking in the second night with a fire pit complete with s'mores. There are restaurants within the area and fun shops too. Jack and Lorraine were friendly and very responsive and helpful too.

Jon was easy to work with and always helpful. Everything is as described. We skied Mt Gore and it's a nice 15-20 minute drive in beautiful countryside. I imagine the place is extra beautiful in the summer in front of the lake. We were there with lots of snow. Jon's plow guy was prompt and courteous and helpful. Overall it was a great stay.

This was my first time visiting Lake George and Mikes place was the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful beautiful surroundings all while being very accessible to downtown. The home has a lovely cabin decor and is very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone coming up to the area and will certainly book when we return

Really enjoyed our stay there! The house was equipped with everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner! Fun place on the water for our kids and a peaceful vacation.

Ervina was a wonderful host. She was friendly and very accommodating when we had to make a last minute trip. Her place was very clean and had everything you need for your stay. It is in a quiet and great neighborhood and we would definitely stay here again.

Cannot recommend Audrey or her space highly enough. It was beautiful, private, spacious, with so many amenities. She was so gracious to stock the fridge with a few items since we were getting in late. It was overall a wonderful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

We had a lovely stay. The place was exactly as described, walkable to everything you could want in town. The place was clean, organized, and everything was clearly laid out and labeled. The fireplace was great for warmth and helped create a cozy environment. The kitchen was helpful, and the place had thoughtful touches that made it feel cared for like the extra blankets, heated floors, and bathroom toiletries. One thing of note, we stayed in the winter and a combination of the snow on one side and a large utility truck on the other made it feel quite tight pulling into the designated space on the driveway. I imagine at any other time guests would not experience this, and it would by no means deter me from staying again when up in Vermont!

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

We had a great stay at Kristin‘s flat, it’s so charming and tastefully decorated- every little detail is thought of and provided, including the Nespresso capsules. The location is ideal, quiet but still very central to Church Street, the lake and the colleges. It was perfect, a great find!

Jeremy was proactive reaching out to give us a warm welcome before we arrived! He gave us his cell phone number in case we had any concerns, which we had none! His place was very clean and inviting and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back over the summer!

My husband and I just spent four days at Cheri’s place and we loved it. It was immaculate, quaint, and furnished with all of the comforts and amenities needed for a restful stay. Everything looked brand new. Cheri was extremely kind and responsive! The location was great, too, for walking to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this spot for a romantic, relaxing, and fun get-away.

Clean and beautiful place to stay near downtown Burlington! The lake was literally a block away and just a short walk to all of the restaurants and shops in Burlington. Lisa gave clear instructions and was responsive throughout our stay.

John’s place was set in a beautiful location and both John and Valerie were friendly and attentive. Would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway!

The main intention behind our visit to Banjo's Cottage was to disconnect and it proved to be absolutely perfect for doing just that. Cozy decor, manageable layout, well-stocked kitchen, no TV, beautiful grounds, convenient location...Lesley and her family provided it all in spades. We read books, completed a puzzle, took in the stars and enjoyed the silence. 20 mins south of Middlebury, and just over an hour south of Burlington...this place offers prime seclusion, as well as easy access to areas of interest. Lesley is always responsive and eager to accommodate. Special shoutout for ensuring we were fully prepared to stay somewhere new with a 13-month old. Pack 'n Play, highchair, outlet covers, toys and books...all generously offered upon arrival. Reading through the log it becomes apparent that this place holds a magical quality to all those who visit. We definitely hope to be back some day.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The views from the cabin are beautiful, and you can’t beat the location directly on the lake. The lake views from inside, the screened in porch, and the backyard were awesome. The kitchen had supplies to make breakfasts/basic meals, the space was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We used this cabin as a home base for visiting Burlington, Waterbury, and Stowe and found it easy to navigate to and from the highway to these larger cities.

Our stay here was great! We enjoyed hanging by the fire pit and that everything we needed was on site. We also loved using the kayaks across the street. The cabin was great, had all the basics for the kitchen and had some fun games which we played!

Lisa’s cottage was amazing, we had an amazing time. It was beautiful and peaceful, we will return in the summer months to enjoy the lake too. Everything is exactly how it is described. Peaceful and private and enjoyed the company of her 3 dogs which were so excited to meet us. I love the spot and will reserve again when I return to the great state of Vermont. If you love peace & quiet please reserve this cottage, it is the best. Thanks Lisa for being a great host and being very responsive.

We had an amazing time! The host was incredible. We drove from Boston and got there 2 hours ahead of schedule. Reese let us go in even though check in was at 3. He was so nice and welcoming. The place is beautiful, peaceful and very private. The cabin had way more than I thought. You could really spent a long time there because you basically have all you need. He even had coffee and tea which was a pleasant unexpected treat! I would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to coming back. Great communication with host. Easy to find. Easy to get in. Highly recommend!

A cozy, charming place and our host, Abigail, that greeted us was very friendly and very accommodating. The cottage is adorable and in a great location. We felt very welcome and right at home. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you, Abigail and Owen!
