Unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben unseren Aufenthalt im sehr grosszügigen und geräumigen Haus von Ville sehr genossen. Wir hatten noch nie eine besser ausgestattete Küche! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, das Haus liegt im Wald, 3.5 km vom Ort Pyhä entfernt. Aufgrund der Fotos sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass das Haus alleine im Wald liegt. Allerdings hat es mehrere Häuser in nächster Nähe, aber die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und der Zufahrtsweg ist kaum befahren. Die Langlaufloipe ist rund 400m entfernt. In und um Pyhä gibt es viele tolle Winteraktivitäten. Ville war ein toller Gastgeber. Er war immer für unsere Fragen erreichbar und hat sehr schnell geantwortet. Ein Hinweis für zukünftige Mieter: in der Grundausstattung heisst es, dass Handtücher und Bettwäsche inkl. sind. Dies ist aber nicht der Fall und kann für EUR 30 pro Person gemietet werden. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten!

Kohde oli jopa parempi ja tilavampi kuin kuvissa. Laskettelemaan meneminen vaatii auton, mutta se ei ollut meille ongelma. Kohteessa on kaikki mitä voi tarvita. Meitä majoittui 2 aikuista ja 2 lasta sekä koira. Suosittelen. Tulemme uudestaan!

What a lovely stay we had here! The log cabin itself is stunning and beautifully furnished - super cosy! We stayed here in midwinter so we were surrounded by a gorgeous winter wonderland. Excellent location, set back from the road but very close to supermarket and places to organise your outdoor adventures. Very close to Ruka ski resort. Rami’s communication with us was brilliant, we didn’t need to ask him anything as everything was covered.

We stayed in this villa last year and after that we’ve always known we’d come back. Lovely, cosy, homely. There’s everything you need, to relax, to cook, and to enjoy the quiet beautiful wintry surroundings. Make sure that you use the sauna. A real treat after a cold day in the slopes or hiking. And make sure that you have the fire on in the evening. Adds a bit of a romance to your stay and, obviously, makes the villa beautifully warm. Enjoy your stay everyone! We will be back.

The most incredible host from booking right through to leaving. I had issues with my payment which Hans was so lovely about, he set up decorations and a little surprise for my husband on arrival as we were there for his 30th birthday and booked dinner reservations for us. Nothing was too much hassle for him, he always replied very quickly and i felt confident that if we had had any issues he would have sorted it out straight away for us. The accommodation was magical! It was so peaceful amd cosy, just felt like we were tucked up in our own little corner of the world. The views over the lake weather we were in bed, the hottub, or sauna were incredible and watching the aurora dance overhead was just better than I can describe. Unser Aufenthalt im Livo Lake Cottage war eine Erfahrung der Extraklasse. Die Ausstattung mit Sauna, Kota und Grillecke am See macht die finnische Kultur erlebbar. Das Haus ist mit großzügigen Glasfronten ausgestattet, durch die man sich wie mit der Natur verschmolzen fühlt. In einem Umkreis von einer Stunde kann man eine Rentier- und Huskytour oder eine Schneemobiltour machen und die faszinierenden Nationalparks erkunden. Die tanzenden Polarlichter lassen sich am besten vom See vor der Haustür aus in vollkommener Dunkelheit und Stille beobachten. Auch der Austausch mit dem Vermieter Sami verlief einwandfrei. Auf unsere Nachfragen hat er innerhalb weniger Minuten mit einem hilfreichen Hinweis reagiert und uns sogar über die Polarlichter am letzten Abend informiert. Nach vielen Reisen in die unterschiedlichsten Länder der Welt können wir sagen: Unser Urlaub im Livo Lake Cottage war eine absolut einzigartige Erfahrung, die Finnisch-Lappland zu einem absoluten Sehnsuchtsort gemacht hat.

We had an amazing stay! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes from the Ruka Ski Station, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

This place really made our trip very special and Janne and Eini were the kindest hosts I have had at an AirBNB. It was wonderful that they included ski passes; it saved us on private ski lessons, rental equipment, and let us use all the lifts and the gondola to get to the top of the slopes or even just to the new Base Heat and Eat. It was a great location that wasn’t too far from local restaurants but secluded enough to not be in the crowded areas. Having the sauna and fireplace and beautiful house was great to unwind from jet lag of our first couple days or fun filled activities later in the week. We saw the Auroras/Northern Lights twice from the house. Once faintly while we were in the jacuzzi and once from the from yard, completely bright and stretched across the sky. It was truly an unforgettable stay.
