We had a terrific four nights at the Boiling House. Everything about the cottage, the village, the amenities, the area, the walks, and everything else, was superb and exactly what we wanted out of a (too) short break. David is great… communications, access, knowledge, etc. was perfect, and we had some nice chats when we bumped into him in town. We’re nothing but really happy with everything and can’t thank David enough for providing such a great experience.

Fabulous stay. It was definitely a home rather than a stark, sterilised air b & b, which we liked. Easy access instructions. 1 minute to the harbour and beach. Great location for visiting other beaches and towns. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Amanda for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. Sam & Mark

We spent Christmas in this wonderfully cozy house. The location is spectacular, lots of great walks near the property. The home was well appointed with throw blankets on the couches, a full laundry room, and soft and fresh towels and linens.

Just got back from a wonderful ‘mini break ‘ at Little Fox Cottage . Great location , perfectly situated for exploring the delights of North Yorkshire . The cottage is very easy to find, and we received a warm welcome from our host Adrian , who made everything seamless from start to finish. He clearly cares that his guests enjoy their stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, and has everything you need. We fell in love with nearby Thornton Le Dale , which is well worth a visit and after a longer than planned walk with our dog , (due to missing the local bus back😩 ), the cottage was the perfect place to unwind , chill and relax in . Not forgetting the added bonus of a decent pub right next door which served good food and great service. In fact everywhere we went in the area , people were very friendly and kind. We will definitely be back in the future ! X

Beautiful house in the upper part of Runswick Bay with easy access to the beach and Cleveland Way. It was perfect for our family reunion (six adults and 4 children). it’s a large dormer bungalow, maybe a little dated but with modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen which were spotlessly clean. Despite it being the coldest weekend in Britain for 10 years we were cosy with central heating, extra oil filled radiators and wood burners. Susan was the perfect host with good communication and many thanks for leaving us plenty logs. The toys which are mentioned in lots of reviews were great for the children. They even ventured to the bottom of the garden to the play area which was fantastic but too cold to stay long. We would love to stay in this house again maybe in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful garden, eating al fresco and taking in the views of the bay and Kettleness in the distance.

This is the kind of place that makes you wish you could give 6 stars. Alex was superb as a host and her cottage was lovely, cozy and within walking distance of all you could want

Josh's house was lovely- lots of space and thoughtfully well-equipped. Josh was great at keeping in touch and ensuring we had a good stay. It was warm and comfortable and we would definitely return to such a special place.

Stylish cottage in a quiet location and only a few mins walk from the high st. Only thing I would suggest to improve is providing more toilet roll (no spare rolls) and some tea/coffee/sugar would have been nice to arrive to. There is a Morrison’s less than 5 mins walk away so it was fine though, it didn’t spoil our stay and would stay again.

This is in a great location right in the middle of of the old part of Whitby next to the Captain Cook museum with views of the harbour. We loved it. The flat is spacious and warm and comfortable. It was particularly lovely to have biscuits and milk on our arrival and supplies of dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid and toilet paper.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely & cozy lounge equiped with fridge, cooker and tea / coffee making facilities and on suite accommodation. Overlooking the lane down to the beach. A delight to stay, ideal location and we hope to stay again soon.......

Great host and lovely place to stay. Great facilities with a well equipped kitchen. Mark was only just a text away which was of great help. Massive thank you for our last minute booking due to our last place cancelling on us.

What a gem of a place! Perfect for a long weekend in Durham and we definitely hope to return. Lisa sorted parking permits for us and changed our booking dates - she couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The place was clean and warm, with some lovely treats to welcome us in. Recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely fabulous apartment with superb sea views. Well equipped with everything you need, modern comfortable furnishings, well equipped open plan kitchen, lounge with two comfortable chairs in the bay window to make the most of the seafront location. Close to a nice seafront cafe and a sandwich shop and walks along the beach.

Sutton Hall is more stunning than the photos. Great accommodation with flexible bedroom set up comfy beds and pillows, plenty of crockery and glassware to have a lovely meal. The grounds and facilities really add to the place - lovely pool, gardens and hot tub. Easy booking system and private use. Perfect venue for friends meeting up or families to enjoy some quality time together. Fully recommend a stay at Sutton Hall and easy reach of lots of fabulous walks and villages.

Stephen’s cottage is truly a gem! Situated in the perfect spot, it offered breathtaking views that made the weekend even better. We were lucky to have amazing weather during our stay, which was a wonderful bonus. Stephen went above and beyond with clear directions, a handy information booklet, which included recommendations for walks around the area, which added so much to the experience. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. A special highlight was the friendly visit from a gorgeous cat on Saturday morning, followed by a charming stroll through the beautifully maintained garden. This stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend!

Really warm and friendly hosts! Staying at their place felt really cosy and nice - having a functioning fireplace and a hearty breakfast makes it feel as if at home.
