Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

My family and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at this charming cottage. The space was perfect for our group to catch up and recharge our batteries together. The interior was cozy and inviting, especially with the fireplace going one evening. We loved relaxing in the Jacuzzi tub after our days exploring the local wildlife - we saw ducks, geese, and even some deer! The cottage had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and feel at home. On our last day, we walked up to the local pub for a delicious Sunday roast lunch, which was a perfect way to cap off our relaxing weekend. I’m so glad I booked this Airbnb for our family getaway - it was the ideal spot for us to reconnect and enjoy quality time together. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to stay.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

Lovely cosy cottage located close to all the shops and restaurants in Holt. Cosy beds and sofa. Great to have a drive to park the car, and easy to get to lots of great locations for walking and the beach. We didn’t use the hot tub as it didn’t feel like it was in a private enough spot, but this is just personal preference. Great hosts, thank you so much.

Thankyou so much Henry & Anna for the most beautiful, magical stay at the bodney cottage! We celebrated my partners 30th & it was so special - the most peaceful, romantic place even better than the photos! Watched the shooting stars from the hot tub, the house was so cosy & warm with the fire place an absolute dream. The best air BnB we have ever stayed in & would be thrilled to visit again!! The property was in superb condition, spotless and immaculately clean and presented. All fixtures and fittings were of great quality and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, containing local cakes, biscuits and so forth. We met Cindy and her husband Mark when they came to service the hot tub and they are delightful people. We spent time chatting during which they recommended restaurants, one of which we used (Buckinghamshire Arms) where we enjoyed Sunday lunch. Overall, a great experience, top notch Airbnb.

Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely surroundings. Dog friendly too. Great to see such well cared for and happy hens wandering around too.

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. 20-30 mins from every major place you could want to go. Cosy and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Private and secure, a real Norfolk countryside stay! We loved our stay, everything we needed was provided and Scott gave us all the information we needed to allow easy check in. We can’t wait to come back again, hopefully for longer next time. We had a lovely time at Nick and Liz’s cottage with our kids. It was a great base to explore around Norfolk. The view across the fields was really peaceful. Liz was really helpful with local recommendations for pubs and places to explore.

Just loved everything about this little place. The property was spacious yet cosy. Everything anyone could need was provided and parking just outside the door was so convenient.

A lovely place to stay and explore this part of Norfolk. We enjoyed having the beach right behind the cottage and regularly saw a seal close to the shore. It was so handy being able to walk back to the cottage to grab food and drinks or pop to the beach first or last thing without getting in the car. Having bikes was great as we enjoyed cycling to Sea Palling. Beds comfy, sofa with farm scenery was great for chilling, good WiFi, dog friendly and a secure garden - this cottage had it all.

What a lovely place to spend Christmas Day! I’m so glad I came across Imogen’s place. It’s ouR last Christmas here in the UK and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place :). Thank you so much for making us so welcome and for putting a tree up for us too! :).

A beautiful bolt-hole away from everything including the internet with stunning marsh views and dark skies. To see Marsh Harriers was wonderful. Wood burner kept us cosy and the enclosed garden was heaven for our dog. Walks to the two pubs in Surlingham (one at Coldham Hall closed during the week off season) and easy drives into Norwich and surroundings. An outdoor shooting club right next door operates on Thursday am and Sunday mid-morning so you may want to plan to be out then - large red flags show when it is happening. At other times it is SO peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and began to miss a bath and washing machine, but not a problem for shorter stays. Old Hall Farm Shop at Woodton, the Wildebeest at Stoke Holy Cross and the new Michelin star at Caistor Hall as well as foodie Norwich mean eating out possibilities are endless. Pip left delicious eggs from her own hens.

Thank you both so much for an amazing weekend away. We cannot speak highly enough of the cottage, the garden, the scenery and our wonderful hosts. The cottage itself is beautifully presented. Everything is immaculately clean and tidy, all provided equipment and consumables are of very high quality. We really appreciated the welcome gifts and snacks! We loved seeing the chickens and Merlin the dog (so cute), as well as the abundance of birds in the garden area each day. This is the perfect setting for a peaceful break away. Diane and Colin were very welcoming and kind. We'll definitely be back in future.

We had a lovely family holiday at Creek Cottage. We were 8 adults, and the cottage was so spacious and well equipped that it had everything we needed. The views are wonderful, and the peaceful area is close to lots of villages, beaches, and good places to eat. The communication with Val was excellent, and we appreciated the nice touches of fresh flowers, wine, and biscuits. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect location to visit nearby National Trust places and the coast. The property is a cosy but spacious cottage with the facilities you would expect at home. Diana was responsive and helpful in answering our questions. The information pack supplied in the cottage was very good and the welcome pack of ‘goodies’ much appreciated. We would happily stay again.

We had a very nice three nights stay at smithy cottage which is in an ideal rural location near to Norwich and the Broads. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Tanya is an excellent host and provided a welcome pack of wine, a range of nibles, cereals, eggs and milk.

Beautiful surroundings, loved being around all the nature, felt very private and tranquil. Would definitely recommend it to friends in the future and would stay here again when visiting Norwich

A huge thank you to Sarah and Ian, who made our stay a fantastic experience! Beautiful cottage, amazing views and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah, wonderful hosts! The private hire swimming pool is definitely an added bonus! And of course the open fire!

We had such a lovely stay in the cottage! It’s a beautiful and peaceful spot. The children loved playing in the garden and there were lots of little outside spots to sit and enjoy a little sun. Conveniently close to Cromer and lots of other nearby beaches. We had lots to keep us busy. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and the perfect place to relax and unwind.

My husky Trevor and I stayed at The Round House for 4 nights whilst my fellow pilgrims resided at The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Such beautiful and tranquil surroundings - a real treat for the soul.
