The cedar shack was absolutely perfect for a family traveling together! Four beds and three baths was ideal for allowing privacy when desired yet the open floor concept of the kitchen, dinning, and living rooms provided the perfect opportunity to spend time together, especially with all of the fun games Becca provided!! The back yard was great for a nice bbq and the gated deck was amazing for dogs or children! Everything we needed for our stay was provided and the location was perfect. Becca was an exceptional host, and very accommodating and responsive! We walked to the beach multiple times. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. All of the amenities, restaurants and attractions were very close by as well! I would absolutely recommend this hike to anyone staying in the OBX area! I know we would love to be back in the future! Thank you again for everything!

This is the second year we’ve stayed at the house in the winter and it was just as fantastic as we remembered it. It’s seriously one of the most boujee and beautiful beach houses. You feel right at home, everything’s clean, and you have every kitchen appliance you’d ever need. The hot tub is especially nice - it’s so dark at night in Duck you can see every star while you lay in the warm water. Several times we talked from the house into Duck which was easy, and it’s right across the street to visit the actual beach. Internet speeds are 25mbps for the remote workers. While we were there the new fiber company was laying conduit, so hopefully they’ll get an upgrade soon. Not a single complaint I could make. The hosts are fantastic. Answer every phone call. They stopped by with a gift for being ok with a single construction bag in the driveway for the pool. They’re awesome, it looked perfectly fine but they went out of their way anyway. Book it!

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at Remember Bark When. It was perfectly situated in a private and peaceful setting but with easy access to a beautiful beach. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and our kids loved the games and set up in the basement. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax. There is a small park with a playground and basketball court within walking distance that also made it great for families. The house is a perfect location for exploring Kitty Hawk, Duck, and other nearby OBX towns. Ariana is a great host and her house provides everything you need to enjoy a stress free beach vacation.

Stayed there with my family..its a beautiful place to stay and we felt right at home..everything was so clean and tidy ..so if you what a nice quiet place to stay this would be a great choice..plus the fish were biting good in the canal behind the house

You can tell Aaron has put a lot of work into redoing this property. All of the facilities worked perfectly, and we never had an issue with the property during our 36 days stay. The back yard is peaceful! Aaron was always responsive and helped us with all of our questions that came up!

An exceptionally good find for the area; both in value and luxury. It's in a quiet neighborhood within a very short walk to the beach. We arrived and immediately felt at home. It was UNIQUELY clean and amazingly well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and cookware you need. The downstairs has a chill area to congregate if you get a (totally common) bought of rain. The host was amazingly quick to respond and very accommodating. I'll absolutely be back!

Was a lovely place in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay over Christmas and was a much needed vacation. Madeline was very helpful and responsive. Would love to book here again sometime!

The Bikini Bottom is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quick getaway with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay. Great location, walking to the beach, restaurants, and all things were within a drivable distance. Upstairs neighbor was quite delightful and makes delicious cookies. Shower pressure was quite amazing and always hot in a flash. My bestie and I had a wonderful time and would definitely rebook in the future.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

So nice we stayed twice. And will stay here again in the future. Convenient location to the beach. Very quiet. Great value! Looking forward to our next visit to Frisco.

We loved our stay at Heather and Tom’s home. It was definitely “home away from home.” So relaxing and peaceful, just what we were needing. The king bed was comfy and we enjoyed sitting on the deck as well. We’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnbs, this is by far the cleanest. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

The OBX Beach Box by Sarah was a perfect spot for me and my partner’s weekend get away. The instructions that were given were very simple and easy to follow. Just a cute cozy place. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was just as described, no surprises. It was very clean, new looking and well stocked! Our host Katie was the best host experience we've ever had !

Monica was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and seemed truly invested in making sure we enjoyed our stay and had a great visit to the OBX! Her place was very clean and just right for our needs, would return!

Wonderful place to stay! I haven’t been to OBX since I was a kid but I’ll definitely be back after staying here. Lots of space and the bed was super comfy! Literally my only personal complaint was with the lights not being on in the super cute (and huge!) backyard but was able to get that sorted out to enjoy my last night. Definitely recommend!

Longacres is a special place. It’s definitely rustic and my teenagers weren’t excited at first. But when it was time to go home, they didn’t want to leave. The outdoor shower and sleeping porch are amazing. My husband and I used them in all weather from the 70s to the 40s. The electric blanket kept us cozy on even the coldest nights. Staying at Longacres felt like glamping. You might have to deal with a few wasps or spiders, or you might run into some cobwebs. But the birds singing you awake every morning, the sun shining in through the tree, the wind whispering in the pines, and the blue sky over head during a shower make those bugs and cobwebs totally worth it! The location was a great jumping off point for all OBX adventures. Anne was a responsive host and quickly dealt with a minor issue we had. I hope we get to come back again sometime!

We really felt home away from home. Very cozy and welcoming property. We had everything what we need. We found great seafood market 4 min away. We cooked fresh catch for dinner every night. We like hiking, and biking. So many good trails around. We did a lot activities first part of the day and afternoon was great time at the beach. We will come back and recommend this charming place for a couple.

10/10! I enjoyed my stay so much I've already booked another stay there! The home was very clean as was evident by the prevalent smell of air freshener and fresh-smelling cleaning products. I have a very sensitive nose, so for me it was a bit much, but the issue was quickly and easily resolved by letting in the fresh ocean air. The home was extremely well-stocked and the bed was very comfy. The host was responsive and friendly, and the location is perfect -- very idyllic and peaceful.

This was the perfect spot to stay! It was VERY clean, walkable to Publix & the beach. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. It was everything we needed for our stay!!!
