Only recommendation I would have would be to fix the front door. It sticks terribly and is difficult to open/close. Requires a great deal of force.

Perfect find for our last minute getaway after Thanksgiving. Very clean and inviting and just what I needed while working some zoom calls while there. The internet was very reliable. Easy to get in and out of. Super happy with this choice of stay! Owner was wonderful to coordinate with.

The place was perfect for our group. Donna the owner was proactive in making sure we had a good check-in and had everything we need. The view was absolutely beautiful of the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was updated and appliances were new. The property had so much room outside and we enjoyed our time around the fire pit. We will be booking this property again when we come next year!!

We had a wonderful time at this place. I am originally from Zavalla and being at this home reminded me of my childhood. The lake was so peaceful. The stars so bright at night and so quiet. We were even able to see a couple eagles hanging out by the lake. The house was so beautiful and relaxing. Definitely will be staying here in the future when visiting family.

Our family rented this beautiful property to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house and surrounding area was beautiful and the views were amazing. The home was super spacious and clean. We will look for this home again for our future travels.

Cathy is a great host and seemed genuinely wanted to make our stay pleasant. She was very responsive and friendly. The house was very charming in a quiet & peiceful area, but at the same time not too far from stores. Overall our small family had a great time, and we plan to be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Evans place! Very close boat ramp. Easy check in and Evan was very quick to reply when I reached out! Highly recommend his place for a relaxing get away or even if you have a fishing tournament, there is parking for two trucks and boats. Quiet neighborhood, very secure, very nice (and helpful) neighbors! If this is available next time we come to Toledo Bend, we will book again! Thank you Evan!

My family and I just got home from our trip to Sam Rayburn where we had a great time. Abbie's place was awesome and we started fishing before we even unpacked the car. The house was perfect for the 4 of us but could easily fit 4 more. We had brought our 2 dogs and were able to easily keep them penned up with a baby gate. Although the wifi is a bit slow, we were able to watch shows on our prime account easily. overall great stay, and plenty of fishing fun.

We wanted a low key family gathering. We had accessibility to fishing, stores, and the kids loved a fire pit with s’mores. If only the weather had been more cooperative. It’s evident that the owners read the reviews because there was lighting and patio furniture had been added. The shower upstairs although small had great water pressure and hot water. We were cold upstairs until the last night when we figured out there was a separate unit. The house could use a few updates but all in all a very successful lake visit we’d like to go again when it’s a little warmer.

Fantastic place to stay! Lots of room for extra vehicles and boats, very close to boat ramps! Plenty of room for people to sleep and just overall very clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.!

This was a very spacious and beautifully kept property . I have traveled many times to this area and this spot was by far our favorite. We will stay again !

Our family of 7 adults gathered here for Thanksgiving. The bedrooms are roomy with comfortable beds and linens. The house, grounds and dock are all designed for you to relax and enjoy the lake. The weather was super windy so we weren’t able to spend as much time on the lake or the porches/decks as we would have liked. Fortunately, the house is an excellent spot to just hang out - huge wrap around windows put you in the middle of the pine trees with a panoramic view of the lake. The neighborhood is easy to walk and we also took a short drive to hike the Trail Between the Lakes. The kitchen is big and well-equipped so we had plenty of room to cook together. Everything worked and allowed us to enjoy our time together.

Stayed for work. Felt right at home. House was very clean. Had a good week of sleep on a comfy bed. Clean sheets and towels. Just wish I had more time to fish. We got a couple of cat fish. Convenient store at the front of the camp was nice. Would stay again!

Great location with easy access to the lake. Very relaxing atmosphere with multiple locations inside and outside to connect with other guest. This is located in a residential area with permanent residents so keep that in mind when booking and be respectful of quiet hours. Wonderful place to spend time on the water with family and friends to relax. The host was fantastic and very accommodating.
