House of Photography–downtown, charming, and fun!

The house is absolutely beautiful and snuggled away in the perfect place in downtown. The host were spot on and amazing and I will most definitely be staying there again if the opportunity arises!

Canadian Cedar Cabin: Lakefront at Toledo Bend

Ashley, thank you so much for sharing your place with us for a few days! My kids and I had such a terrific time! We were able to spend lots of time together, play games, fished (and caught) from the bank, we even swam right out front. The home included everything we needed plus the added bonus of good wifi!!! We will be back!

Bear Cabin

Our stay at Warren’s Bear Cabin on Sparks Lake in Nacogdoches, TX was wonderful and we highly recommend it. The “neat as a new pin” and very well appointed Bear Cabin is lakeside (great for fishing/hiking along the bank or just relaxing on the deck) in this bucolic setting), nestled on the slope of a rolling hill overlooking Sparks Lake; secluded and peaceful. Warren was an amazing host, very attentive and responsive. We will definitely stay again (if available) when in Nacogdoches; a rare and enjoyed find.

The cabin as well as the view of the lake are both gorgeous! Looks exactly like the pictures and the hosts were extremely helpful and kind. Will absolutely be recommending this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat🩵

This place sits Quietly outside of town. House was very clean and cozy. We Truly Enjoyed our quick trip hoping to return again. Owners are very Quick to answer and questions. Would Definitely Recommend.

Waterfront Sam Rayburn Mid Lake

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier host than Jim, who clearly wants the best for his guests. That's very apparent by the care taken to keep the property so beautiful. While enjoying morning coffee, we watched a Bald Eagle soar in from the lake like a fighter jet and perch itself on a pine tree for about a half hour. It was extremely vocal and had the other birds in the area on high alert. Not something we see every day in our neck of the woods. We are already planning to return with the family. The home was very spacious, clean and well kept. There was not anything that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided or available. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Jim! Lake Escape on Sam Rayburn

Our second spring stay at Lake Escape, we love it! The deck is our favorite. Grilled steaks on the propane grill and enjoyed the beautiful lake view. Slept great in the quiet neighborhood and beds were very comfy. The big kitchen has everything you need and we love the setup. This may be our spring tradition every year!

Stag Leap Harts Landing - A lovely forest getaway!

Our weekend stay was great. The cabin was secluded and private. I love the woods and we were surrounded by beautiful trees. The trails were a blast as was the walking trail along the creek. We opted for the golf cart and glad we did. Was able to explore the whole property and scope out the other cabins as future places to stay. Sabrina and Kirby were very responsive. We had an issue with the first golf cart but I text them and in minutes they were there with another. Was a blessing because we had a chance to visit with them which is something you don’t get often with hosts. Great people!! Hope to do a family trip with our sons and their families in the future.
