Fantastic experience! If you love nature, this house is the place for you.

Eight of us had a fantastic Christmas in this beautiful home just a short walk to the beach. The space is open and modern, with ample seating areas, lovely decor (lots of white) and comfortable bedrooms freshened by ever-whirling ceiling fans. The pool was clean and inviting, the outdoor lounge chairs had wheels so we could rapidly zip out of the rain or turn to face the sun, and towels were replenished daily (we had no idea daily housekeeping was included - what a luxury!). Max helped us arrange for absolutely everything in advance - round trip transfer from the airport, quad and scooter rentals, grocery shopping and a (darling) chef for every dinner. He was always instantly available via text to answer questions and offer recommendations or advice and he couldn't have been friendlier!! With four days of rain, we did not explore as much as we'd have liked, but the accommodations and truly pleasant interactions with Max and staff allowed us to RELAX and enjoy the down time regardless!

Thank you, Eric, for hosting our stay. Your place checked all the boxes for a perfect vacation: clean, safe, and, most importantly, very relaxing. Every morning, I poured a cup of coffee, and before I knew it, I found myself standing in the surf, taking in the magnificent views of Playa El Portillo. There was more than enough space for our group of eight (including three children), and we never felt crowded. From the moment we booked until the moment we left, Samuel was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. We’ve stayed in this community a few times, but this place was by far the best, and we look forward to returning again.

Karina was an outstanding host. She was incredibly responsive and proactive. Her place is super cozy, very safe and the kids had a blast in the pool before and after beach days/excursion. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to it confidently to anyone. Merci Karina!

Las Galéras a des plages parmi les plus belles où nous sommes allés dans le monde. La maison est tout à fait conforme aux photos, la vue magnifique et la piscine nous a paru plus grande que sur les photos. L’emplacement de la maison est plus loin des autres résidences touristiques du village… on entend par ailleurs tous les bruits (musique, église ) d’un quartier populaire. Nous n’avions pas de voiture et c’est très facile de marcher quoi que moins agréable de marcher dans les environs surtout en soirée. Nous avons apprécié le personnel:gardiens, aide ménagère qui nous a cuisiné un succulent repas traditionnel. La communication avec l’hôte est très facile et nous avons pu bénéficier de la souplesse des heures d’arrivée et de départ.

Anyone reading this review, just book it you would be amazed, I dint know where to start, is just amazing period, book it!! And you’ll be surprised!

For starters, thank you Emanuela for hosting us at your beautiful Villa. The Villa was more beautiful in person, immaculate, and it came with delicious complimentary breakfast. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately. She even brought us Champagne on New Year’s Eve. Which I must say, what a view to watch the fireworks from the top of the mountains and bring in the New Year! Guillermina, the cook was AMAZING! We paid her extra to cook dinner and the food was spectacular. She was accommodating, happy to service us and never rushed us. My family felt super comfortable around her!! Another point to mention, the morning view while drinking coffee and at night the stars were so visible! We highly recommend Villa Sunrise and we will be returning!

I cannot say enough kind words about Jacques and his team and the experience we had at Villa Sabina. I celebrated my birthday with a large family group. First of all, the communication from the time of booking, all the way through check out was great. Jacques and team always answered in a timely manner, and even on weekends. Prior to our arrival, they provided not only a long list of local recommendations, but he also helped arrange transportation to/from the airport, helped arrange scooter rentals, and even helped arrange for massages at the villa. The pictures were exactly how the home looked upon arrival. I was a bit confused about the layout via pics, so for anyone wondering, all the bedrooms are enclosed, but all common areas are open air. Last thing to mention is the house staff. Josefina and Confessora were an absolute joy. We ate their cooking for every meal and we all loved every single dish. I would absolutely stay here again! Also, great walkable location to bars, etc.

Had the pleasure of staying at Arnaud’s beautiful home and it was an unforgettable experience. The property itself was stunning and served as ideal for bonding with my friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. Despite being in a quiet area, it was just a short distance from everything we needed. Arnaud was exceptional – responsive, kind, and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to all the amenities of Las Terrenas.

Fabulous home. Pool was wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked great when needed. Electricity wasn’t as expensive as we thought. Area was nice and safe. Host-Valerie was very responsive and helpful. 6 minutes walk to the beach. But the best part about the trip was Maria and her traditional Dominican home cooked meal. Wow! Make sure you do this at the first of the trip because you’ll want her to come back and do it again. It was amazing. Make sure you get the fish in coconut sauce. Delicious!!!

A number of things were remarkably good for us - our Christmas Eve dinner at Mosquito at Porto (I think that’s what it’s called), a great restaurant which is closeby; there was a lot of bustle in town in Terrenas, but just beyond Playa Bonita offered a different vibe and is a lot of fun; the availability of other local excursions and renting a fun Polaris; the easy walk to the beach from the house; the pool and garden with its bbq grill; being able to order from the Bodega; a friendly and accommodating housekeeper. The house was also very attractive and well maintained and equipped, and extremely comfortable for our group. Emanuel Marte is a great host and was readily available before and throughout our stay.

To start, this is the most BEAUTIFUL Airbnb and the location is perfection. The house is impeccably decorated with a warm and welcoming vibe. We loved the peacefulness, open air breezes, beautiful gardens, ocean views, and walking directly into the warm ocean. Betty is the most gracious and helpful host we have ever encountered. Not only did she make recommendations, but set up our excursions, taxis, chef for the week (Fernando’s food is to die for), a beach dinner for our last night, etc. She and her staff go above and beyond to ensure you never want to leave! The house manager and caretaker ensured we felt right at home, including picking fruits for our kids and cooking squash for an upset tummy! The town is a quick taxi ride away and we loved the authentic and non-touristy vibe of Las Terranas. The people are warm & friendly and we felt safe everywhere we went and felt safe with our kids (9, 7, & 6) running around on the beach. Truly a magical vacation!

Love this place. Great location off Ballenas beach. Quiet (most of the time), peaceful and comfortable. Pretty outdoor area, with a warm pool and colourful vegetation. Kitchen is fully outfitted, and easy to use. Good beds and lots of seating inside and out. Property manager and regular staff (cleaner, pool and gardeners) all friendly and efficient. The owner is responsive and helpful, and communication was easy. We’ve stayed here before and have already booked for next year. A great choice… you’ll be happy here!

Hôtes très disponibles, accueil irréprochable et gentillesse sont les maîtres mots. Emplacement au top entre les 2 plages toutes proches et à proximité immédiate de la rue principale avec les commodités. Le logement dispose des espaces et du confort nécessaire, il s’agit d’une habitation de typologie traditionnelle où il n’y a pas de rupture directe entre extérieur et intérieur de la terrasse au séjour cuisine mais totalement sécurisé par des ouvertures avec grilles. Triple espace terrasse très agréable Merci à Michèle et Gérard pour leur accueil et leur engagement envers leurs visiteurs.

We had a wonderful stay in Las Terrenas. Jacques was so responsive and helpful, Carmen was amazing and was so accommodating and caring for our large group. There is so much to do in Las Terrenas—it is a hidden gem and we would love to visit again. Highly recommend renting ATVs so you can explore, the beach area outside of the villas is so fun!

Fue una experencia totalmente increible, hermoso, excelente contacto con la naturaleza, picina hermosa, excelente limpieza, excelente seguridad, mesa de jugar billar, mesa de domino, camilla para masaje, gimnasio. Excelente trabajo del encargado manuel, un joven comprometido con su trabajo el buen servicio al cliente. y muy dedicado, amable, decente, cortes y muy util para todo lo que necesite, realmente manuel se preocupa por el huesped Volveria a este lugar y lo recomiendo totalmente.

In a word-delightful! We had such a wonderful stay at Isabel’s gorg home. The property, with lounge area and perfect sized pool and super private surroundings made for a perfect getaway. House caretaker, Udi, met us when we arrived and made us feel immediately at home. We took at 5 minute walk to grab dinner and a cocktail-perfect! 5 minute walk to beach, restaurants, and delicious cappuccinos. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms are gracious. Isablel was helpful in arranging transport from airport too! We felt safe and secure with the 24 hour friendly security staff in the complex and left well rested. What a great trip. Thank you!

Great place, very modern and comfortable. Parking for 2 cars and the house is equipped with everything you might need.

The experience was amazing! Marine was great, kind and generous! She even let us stay a few hours more! I would definitely would come back and have another beautiful experience

Noelia, est une hotesse parfaite , elle se soucie du bien ëtre de ses locataires. Le logement est bien situé , près de la plage et a 1 km du village et du marché de poissons. La villa est calme et silencieuse , étant entouré d'un mur de verdure.Nous avons appréciés le mois passé chez Noelia , et j'ai accueillit mes enfants et petits enfants pendant une semaine .Tous ont aimés leurs séjours .
