⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drei traumhafte Monate in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Die Ruhe war himmlisch und die Lage direkt am Meer unschlagbar - fast täglich sind wir schwimmen gegangen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses war perfekt für uns. Und das Privileg in so einem Haus zu wohnen war für uns aussergewöhnlich. Danke Roxana. Als Gastgeberin warst du sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hast alles wunderbar organisiert. Diese fantastischen Wochen werden unvergesslich bleiben und wir wollen gerne wiederkommen!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Lauren's place is a true slice of paradise! It's perfectly sized for a couple in a nice secluded area tucked behind one of the most desolate, beautiful beaches we'd ever seen with our own private walkway to get there. The yard is huge and gorgeous! You can hear the ocean waves from the yard making it a super peaceful retreat. The kitchen was very well stocked for us to cook meals and even make fresh batidos every day! Junquillal is a beautiful beach and is a 45 minute drive (or less) to Tamarindo, but a significantly quieter area if that's what you're looking for. We'd highly recommend the place and would love to stay again!!

I noticed this Airbnb 3 years ago and it was the reason that encouraged me to visit Costa Rica. After seeing this Airbnb unit the first time I knew I made no mistake visiting this beautiful part of the world. The unit is Rustic and more functional and desirable than I have expected. Surrounded with natural greenery, singing birds, and friendly neighbors. The drive to it was intimidating at first impression. But it added to the charm as a I got off the beaten pass. It lead lead me onto the Guiones Sur sandy beach. Then into a hidden rural dirt road which guided me into the my 3 night stay… I wish I could have stayed longer. If you stay here you must experience the sun setting down. Walk out to the beach approximately 4:30pm and wait for to the sun to set over the Pacific Ocean horizon… it’s magical. I shall return. Pura Vida!

This place was by far the shining star of all of our stays. We ended up staying here for 3 nights. If you are looking to just unwind and reset this place will kick start the pura vida in you. The place was spotless and welcoming. The host gave us local recommendations and they had been spot on perfect. Fishing and strolling the beach at this place was by far our favorite daily activity. I would recommend that if you come to stay that you stop at a grocery store first and stock up on supplies so you don’t have to leave. The nearest decent grocery store is about a 20-30 min drive. Overall I cannot wait to come back and enjoy this place again. I will be dreaming about it for months to come!

The hosts live within the same compound (different home), but were extremely friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed meeting them, along with a great stay.

Great outdoor space with the outside grill and well maintained pool. We had a fantastic time enjoying the great pool space. Kitchen was well equipped. A car is a must. Things are close but not walkable. Thanks Jose for being a great host.

Das Haus ist perfekt für einen Strand Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns nach einer Rundreise durch Costa Rica hier noch erholt. Adrian und die Haushälterin Roxana sind sehr hilfsbereit. In der unteren Etage ist die große Küche und oben die 4 Zimmer. Alles in allem gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren gemütlich und durch die Ventilatoren auch bei wärmeren Temperaturen ok. Der Strandzugang ist auch toll. Ab und zu hatten Pferde vor dem Zaun als Gast, kleine und größere Echsen und freche Bunthörnchen.

Where to begin with my applause for this place! Lovely abode, tucked away in a little jungle oasis but a mere 10 minute walk to the beach & bars etc. Bikes on site which is a fun plus, beach chairs, cooler, scuba gear and more fun toys to enjoy at beach or in the great pool that was so refreshing to jump in after a salty beach day. There is also a washer and dryer that works great, countless different towels to use for pool, beach and showers. The bed was extremely comfy, the bedroom stays nice and cool, the shower has hot water and the porch is a beautiful way to spend an afternoon or evening. Communication is super quick and helpful. We will most definitely return, and bring friends and family to enjoy this wonderful spot. We love Villa Espeval!

I really enjoyed the condo, which is situated just a minute from the beach. The check in process with Hilda was easy. The condo is well equipped with all the necessities and has a great view of the ocean. The location is secure and there are monkeys living in the trees behind the condo. I would certainly stay here again!

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for walking to the beach by day and restaurants by night. The pool area with loungers and outdoor dining space was where we spent most of our time. The amenities were great - stocked kitchen, a rooftop workout zone, lovely showers, comfy beds, a cozy den for watching hockey, and outdoor post-surf showers. We were even visited by friendly howler monkeys in the trees right outside the casa. The owner, Steve, and the property manager were both very responsive and made for a smooth and relaxing time in Nosara. Pura Vida! We’ll be back!

Absolutely beautiful place. Exactly as described. The layout of the place is unique and really fun. Has 4 private bungalows with a central kitchen and living room. The owners were honest about a slight ant problem (it’s CR so we rolled with it) but wasn’t an issue with the bedrooms and we kept our food all in the fridge. We had a problem with our A/C in one room turning off over night and a lock on one room breaking. Jonathon was very responsive and came over to fix both almost immediately. Beds are comfy, lots of space and the pool was a great touch after a long day at the beach. The beach is about 0.75 miles away (walkable) unless you have mobility issues. Bring flashlights! Super helpful walking back at night and to spot wildlife. Secure parking.

The location was perfect for us - brother and SIL just down the street and walkable to great restaurants and the water! Beautiful surroundings and the pool was absolutely PERFECT. Loved our stay! Very responsive host - helpful at check in and flexible!

Great place to spend a relaxing vacation. Douglas was very responsive and the property was in a beautiful location. If you arent familiar with Costa Rica, be prepared the roads and long travel times. The location is in a beautiful location, but doesnt have alot of locations near the property. We were looking for that so it was perfect. Douglas' instructions and recommendations were very helpful and we really enjoyed the pool on property. We also had private chefs and massages on site which were great.

This has to be one of my favorite stays. I really enjoyed coffee with the birds every morning. The pool was great the house had everything you need and more. I absolutely loved the location and how easy it was to walk to the beach. It’s a great place to relax unwind and catch a beautiful sunset. I would recommend 10/10.

We loved staying Aaron’s home, it felt like an oasis with a beautiful garden and private pool. It was only a few minutes walk to Playa Guiones, with walkable distance to surf board rentals, cafes and delicious restaurants. The home was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and lots of storage. We felt welcomed and well taken care of at every turn, muchas gracias Aaron!

I almost want to keep this gem of a location to myself, but I have to recognize this host and property for being one of the most amazing travel destinations we've been to. We've honestly travelled around the globe, and there is nowhere we'd rather be than Elizabeth's private paradise. The tranquility, peace and beauty cannot be overstated. Elizabeth communicated wonderfully and we wanted for nothing. Her caretaker (Chayo) was there when we needed him and disappeared when we did not. He and the maid were fantastic. If you really want to feel like you are at the end of the world, but can get what you need, this is the spot. We'll be back. If you do end up going here, try not to tell too many people about this beach. It is magical. Oh, and a good 4x4 is needed. Don't even try to get here in a regular car! :)

We are still on cloud nine after an absolutely SUBLIME stay at Casa Alegre! Chiara was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our entire stay, and the house and surroundings were exactly as magical as described. We chose to rent a car at the airport as we planned to do a lot of exploration during our stay, and getting around was not a problem at all as long as you plan for slower traffic pretty much everywhere. If we ever plan another trip to this part of Costa Rica, we would stay here again without a second thought.

Our stay was absolutely AMAZING! The host was so hospitable, friendly, helpful, and super responsive. Anything we needed was attended to immediately and we felt so comfortable. We will definitely be coming back and would 1000% recommend this place to anyone.

The location is excellent, it’s right in Samara Center. You can walk to the beach in about 2 minutes. Only thing to note is it’s not exactly a house, it’s a hotel. It’s three separate rooms, the one in the center has the kitchen and living room. If your a big group with couples, it’s great. All in all the place is clean, in a great location, and very friendly staff.

Absolutely Paradise! We couldn’t have been more impressed. Heather and her team were super easy to communicate with, and everyone at the resort is top-notch! We can’t wait to return. Pura Vida!

Wonderful Condo. Hosts are very kind and understanding and the location is perfect for those looking for a relaxing getaway. being able to walk to the beach very quickly is a huge plus.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Casita von Sofia und haben dort fast 2 Wochen verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich fantastisch, nah an Restaurants und der Strand ist direkt hinter dem Gartenzaun. Auf dem Grundstück sind noch 2 andere Häuser die teilweise bewohnt sind. Man ist also nicht ganz allein aber bekommt wenig von den anderen mit, uns hat es nicht gestört. Es ist alles recht einfach eingerichtet aber es reicht völlig aus, alles war sauber und die Betten bequem. Die Küchenausstattung ist wirklich super und man hat alles was man braucht, es gab sogar eine Packung Kaffee als Geschenk. Toll für kleine Kinder ist dass die Terrasse komplett geschlossen werden kann! Wir haben jede Sekunde genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise. Sofia hat auch zuverlässig und schnell auf unsere Nachfragen reagiert. Absolute Empfehlung!!

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Casa del Sol. The house is spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well stocked with all you will need to cook or make frozen drinks. The patio by the pool was so peaceful and pretty. The Howler monkeys in the back jungle were a delight to hear and see. Phyllis was so helpful with questions and booking our Chef for Christmas dinner at the house and with a private airport transfer for one couple. Diego the house manager had the gate open for us when we arrived and walked us through the house and was in communication the 10 days if we needed anything. The location is peaceful. We rented our own vehicle and there are many places to grocery shop or eat out at within minutes of the house. Many pretty beaches close by. Playa Azul is a pretty beach full of driftwood and we could hear the waves rolling in from the house. Such a special place and we highly recommend Casa del Sol and Phyllis!
