Ilxom’s a truly gracious host. He and his family are warm, kind and cook up seriously delicious local meals. I slept on the wooden seats in his courtyard every night, and he made sure i was comfortable, giving me thick linens and ensuring it was well lit. His cats are friendly, his kids are cute and his suggestions for local sights always exceed expectations. For avid hikers, there simply isn’t a better place to stay to explore the Zerafshan mountains. Staying in his home was the highlight of my Uzbekistan trip. I will be back to stay in his guesthouse as soon as the opportunity arises. Katta Rahmat Ilxom.

Begzod's house is very well located: you can walk to the main attractions of Samarkand. But also, local taxis or the Yand-exGo app will take you wherever you want (remember that there is no Uber, Bolt or Cabify here). The Madrasas and mausoleums are something spectacular... Begzod's house has an excellent central heating system under the floor, so in winter you won't feel the cold. Near the house there is a mall, restaurants and a supermarket, fast food and traditional food. During my stay I had a couple of problems, which Begzod solved quickly and I am grateful to him. One day, and due to the low temperatures, the gas system failed for the shower. That same afternoon there were 2 technicians installing an electric water heater to solve the gas problem. It is very nice to see a host who strives to provide a prompt solution to maintain a comfortable environment in a lodging. If you go to Begzod's house you will not regret it.

Had a great stay. The host even allowed me for early checkin and the place have a washer which is very essetial for long travel. The kitchen is clean, with complete equipments such as electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator. Overall, great for a short stay in Samarkand.

Me encantó estar en el alojamiento de Ixtiyor. Todo muy limpio, cómodo , buen desayuno y la piscina deliciosa. Sólo que para ir y volver del alojamiento hay que tomar micro si no usas taxi. Pero, es ideal para ir a descansar, relajarse y pasar las altas temperaturas del verano. Muchas gracias por todo. Además, muy buena comunicación y siempre muy atentos. El personal muy amable. La señora del servicio de desayuno y aseo es encantadora. Gracias!
