Our expectations were far surpassed at the amazing amenities and views and the entire experience we had here at Karen’s Rental from the gracious caretaker, Wilson letting us in, later than we expected to arrive, to the amazing views and everything we needed from snorkel gear to washer / dryer. We felt so at home and welcomed by the staff and by Karen, who was extremely responsive. She took care of our every need and we even had a fridge with beer and wine ready for our late arrival ( for an extra fee, of course, but for very reasonable.) we spent the day soaking in the views snorkeling on the amazing coral reef just steps from our cabana and the pool is absolutely breathtaking. Every bit of our stay here was spectacular. We cannot say enough good things about it.. We will cherish those memories forever.. I will even mention how Karen sent us menus from the local restaurants, and the Belgian bistro down the road was excellent and very reasonably priced. This was a fabulous stay !

Didn't have to worry about a thing! The rooms were fully equipped and very spacious with everything we needed, and the essentials were all high quality. Super convenient. 👍👍👍

Our stay at Angelica’s villa was incredible! It felt like a hidden Bali escape in Valencia, surrounded by stunning mountain views and nature. Angelica was an amazing superhost--so kind, welcoming, and responsive. She gave us the best recommendations, including Latino Restaurant by Marco, a friendly Spanish chef. It’s a hole-in-the-wall gem serving insanely good Spanish & Thai food—a must-try! The villa itself was perfect, peaceful, cozy, and beautifully designed. Waking up to breakfast in the pavilion with a breathtaking view was the perfect way to start the day. Angelica’s adorable golden retrievers (Baltimore & Paris) made the experience even more special! This place is a true hidden gem, offering relaxation, nature, and warmth. If you're looking for a unique getaway with top-notch hospitality, this is it! Highly recommend—best stay ever! 💖✨🏡🐶 We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay and our host was so helpful. The location is pretty far from town and we didn’t plan on that but with a scooter you can get around easily. We had the best driver while we were there. He took us to the whales sharks, into town for groceries and to dinner. We stayed 3 nights and he was so helpful. Super place to stay as she is Great host as she made it outstanding and was just what i needed in starting my permanent stay as much better then any hotel as it may require transportation or pedicab but so close to everything whether the Dumaguete, or Bacong and even Valencia while being nestled in area filled with markets, places to eat etc. Great way to have western amenities of air con., hot shower, kitchen with pretty much all you need and be nestled in nature as pictures show everything as even as a disabled guy i was able to navigate well plus the security was fabulous with gate and locks. Highly recommend whether single, cpl. or small family.

Great communication and 24/7 security and caretaker. Caretaker was very hospitable and no problem to tough to resolve. House was clean and tidy and great view over the sea. Unfortunately both my wife and I are light sleepers and the main 4 lane highway is between the house and the sea. Traffic was 24/7 so we got little sleep and thus left a day earlier.

This is my second time staying at Darlene's apartment and everything was great again. Great location close to everything by trike that you can catch right in front of the property. Will definitely stay again when we go back to Dumaguete.

I had a lovely stay at Nerfe's place in Dumaguete! The condo is cozy, clean, and in a secure location, which made my first visit to the Philippines a smooth and enjoyable experience. The instructions for check-in were clear, and the condo itself had everything I needed, including reliable WiFi. Nerfe was an exceptional host! She was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She provided great recommendations for tours and helped connect me with a driver (shoutout to Erick!) to visit Balinsasayao Twin Lakes and other scenic spots. Despite not feeling well at the start, she ensured everything was set up perfectly before my arrival.
