Had a great stay this Airbnb, wonderful views and beautiful home. We used this location as our home base for exploring Lake Atitlan, and we were very happy with the choice! Beautiful home, well thought out, and had everything we needed. We made use of the Hammock and the Fire pit, and swam in the lake on one of the mornings, always nice to have things to do at your Airbnb! The lake water is calm with clearer views in the mornings, but it gets choppy in the afternoons with a bit more clouds. Fantastic views of the lake, peaceful and epic mornings! Couple things to note 1) You definitely need in good physical condition to stay here, as there is a steep path from the road. 2) There is a spiral staircase to get to the second level, would be difficult to carry heavy luggage up if someone is not physically strong. Last thing, because of the location, if no car, Tuk Tuk rides to Pana with Juan (WHO IS AMAZING BTW) cost 500Q each way. But overall, this location was worth it! Thank you David!

Una propiedad hermosa, tranquila, con muchas actividades por hacer, impresionantes vistas, fui con hijos, nietos y mama y todos lo pasamos muy bien. Jessica, Jose, Anali, Edyberto y el jardinero hacen un excelente trabajo alli, son personas super atentas, educados y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos con gusto. Si quieren ir a conocer pueblos si deben de rentar lancha. La casa estaba limpia y la matienen muy bien y nos cocinaron muy rico todo lo que les pediamos, Me gustaria regresar pronto 100% recomendada

Nuestro descanso de semana Santa, fue increible, la casa es bellicima, el ambiente familiar. La vista al lago y los volcanes, lo mejor. Una magnifica eleccion, pensamos regresar. El anfitrion don Juan, una persona super agradable, servicial y sobre todo, apoya en todo momento. Una casa 100% recomendada. Las fotos se quedan cortas con tanta belleza que uno encuentra. Muy acogedora

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

My family and I loved this place! The house and the yacht club grounds are beautiful and we had fun using the pool. Vanessa was the best! She showed us around when we first arrived, got us groceries that we had forgotten, and cleaned every morning. Would definitely recommend this house!

Amazin architecture and nothing but green all around. This place is very peaceful and has everything for a few days of comfort :) loved it and would definetly stay again!

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! You won’t regret booking this place. The grounds and place are stunning. It’s an oasis in the midst of the bustle and grime of the Panajachel streets. You can still hear some sounds from the neighborhood, but between beautiful trees, gardens and the privacy you can really relax and unwind. The hosts were responsive and helpful. It is a bit of a walk to the main areas of Pana but we liked being out of the way and it’s easy to catch a tuk tuk if needed.

A well-equipped, clean apartment just one block from the main square and a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. Communication with the host was easy the entire time. San Lucas doesn't have much tourism, but that's what makes the experience more valuable. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed the rooftop with amazing volcano views.

Samuel y su esposa fueron muy amables. Me brindaron apoyo con el traslado de mi equipaje y Samuel estuvo pendiente de cualquier cosa que pudiera necesitar. Además me dio recomendaciones de restaurantes, tours, bares y otras amenidades. El apartamento queda en el centro de la actividad, así que todo queda cerca. Disfruté la estancia y la preciosa vista al lago y al final decidí quedarme una noche adicional.

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, el lugar nos hizo sentir como en casa. Nos sentimos tan cómodos que decidimos extender nuestra estadía un día más para seguir disfrutando de las amenidades del lugar y la vista de Panajachel. Silvia siempre estuvo pendiente de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Sin duda, esperamos regresar pronto para seguir disfrutando de este rincón tan especial.

We enjoyed the location and accuracy of the house. Host was very helpful. For the price it was great. It could use a fan, really stuffy inside at night. The pillows were really big or paper thin. We just didn’t sleep well here but it wasn’t a thing really to fix it. Quiet place with a shared driveway inside gate. Would return.

Jättebra värd som var hjälpsam och svarade snabbt på alla frågor. Hon hjälpte till att koppla ihop oss med en chaufför som kunde ta oss från Guatemala City till San Pedro smidigt och säkert. Boendet var precis som beskrivet. Badrummet är verkligen i minsta laget, men det funkar och det var som vi läst i beskrivningen innan. Läget är kanon! Man kommer bort en bit från huvudgatorna så att det blir lite lugnare, men man har ändå gångavstånd till hela staden. Vi är supernöjda med vår vistelse!

This place was so perfect! We wished we were able to stay longer. Magdalena greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a tour, and even gave us a fresh loaf of bread and eggs for breakfast. The home is incredibly cozy, photogenic, and has amazing views from the terrace. Magdalena was very responsive on the AirBNB app, and helped us organize a private shuttle transfer from Antigua to San Pedro for a very fair price. It is a bit far from the main/touristy areas of San Pedro, but we had a very easy time finding tuktuks (taxis) to take us there or it is a 15-20 minute walk. HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in a unique stay!

This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! The view is incredible. You can see the lake and volcanos+ the town below. I loved sitting outside and just relaxing. The home is really clean and has everything you need including a nice kitchen, snacks, yoga mats and blocks, extra blankets and books. There’s definitely bugs since everything is so open but they didn’t bite or bother me so it was fine. The 10min hike is a bit challenging esp if you have backpacks/luggages. Definitely have their recommended driver help you get to the Airbnb when you arrive and drive you up and down the steep hills during your stay. The hosts were amazing. They were really responsive and great at communicating!

This is our second stay at The Artist's Loft and it was just as peaceful as the first time in 2017. The view is breathtaking and I feel the best view of Lake Atitlan. The house is spacious, sunny and airy. I enjoyed the firm bed. The staff, Dorca, Milka and Nathanael were helpful and responsive. We enjoyed reading on the deck and had almost all our meals there. I became friends with the parrot Victoria and became attached to her. Everytime I saw her she made me laugh. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

We stayed for a month and had such a lovely stay. The location by the lake is amazing, the sunrises, daily yoga on the deck are somethings I will cherish forever. Negra, Paloma, Cometa, Patos, Chocaltey are some of the most loving dogs we ever met. I’m sure we would be talking about years later. Our daughter loved spending time with the dogs and goats, and it seemed safe to let her wander around by herself, thanks to the dogs which would always accompany her. Edgar and his son were very helpful and prompt. They have a lot of work in the farm, but are always smiling and gave us some farm grown bananas, avocados etc. The kitchen was convenient for us to make meals, and the beds were very comfortable. San Juan is a 15-20 min walk on the road or through the fields. We took some Spanish classes, weaving, honey etc. tours and the month went by quite soon. There are insects as the place is close to nature, but nothing concerning. Overall a magical stay we would love to come back sometime!
