Lake Escape on Sam Rayburn

Our second spring stay at Lake Escape, we love it! The deck is our favorite. Grilled steaks on the propane grill and enjoyed the beautiful lake view. Slept great in the quiet neighborhood and beds were very comfy. The big kitchen has everything you need and we love the setup. This may be our spring tradition every year!

Cottage in Quaint East Texas Historic Town

The interior of this beautiful home was amazing. A lot of the historical charm was preserved along with newer updates to the kitchen and upstairs. The home is within walking distance to the downtown square. San Augustine is a charming little town. Bob and Cathy were very quick to respond to any questions I may have had during my stay. Also the courtyard was a good size and fully fenced in to allow my pups to roam freely and explore. I would stay here again if I’m ever traveling through SA in the future.

Incredible view! My family of five had the best week relaxing, fishing, and just spending quality time together. Molly was an exceptional host. Can’t wait to come back!

This was our second time staying here. The home looked just as nice as our first time staying. Great location, close to Cassel Boykin. Sonya was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

The cabin as well as the view of the lake are both gorgeous! Looks exactly like the pictures and the hosts were extremely helpful and kind. Will absolutely be recommending this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat🩵

The cabin is small but we all had enough room. I would have like a few more amenities. Namely a toaster oven or at least a toaster since there is no oven and hand soap. Overall we had a good time fishing, kayaking and playing card games at night.

Beautiful place to stay, close to public boat ramp. Kenny was very responsive and went above and beyond to answer any questions that we had. It was perfect and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Waterfront Sam Rayburn Mid Lake

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier host than Jim, who clearly wants the best for his guests. That's very apparent by the care taken to keep the property so beautiful. While enjoying morning coffee, we watched a Bald Eagle soar in from the lake like a fighter jet and perch itself on a pine tree for about a half hour. It was extremely vocal and had the other birds in the area on high alert. Not something we see every day in our neck of the woods. We are already planning to return with the family. The home was very spacious, clean and well kept. There was not anything that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided or available. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Jim! Fisherman’s Retreat with Patio at Lake Sam Rayburn

We needed a quiet get away in the middle of no where and that is exactly what we got. It was peaceful and nice right in the middle of the country. Rich was incredibly helpful and responsive. We have family that lives near by his air bnb and plan to return for our annual trips. Thankyou so much for a great space!

I couldn’t possibly explain how amazing and convenient this place is! If you’re looking for a place to bring your family this is the way to go! They have EVERYTHING you could possibly need here. Coffee pot and all! My husband liked the coffee part lol walking distance to boat ramp and swimming beach and bbq place! Outside kitchen could fit like 20 people to eat with family or friends. Not to mention you can get in contact with the owners at any time you need! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

Waterfront Beauty on Lake Sam Rayburn!

The place was perfect for our group. Donna the owner was proactive in making sure we had a good check-in and had everything we need. The view was absolutely beautiful of the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was updated and appliances were new. The property had so much room outside and we enjoyed our time around the fire pit. We will be booking this property again when we come next year!!

Dayna’s place was quaint and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay despite the storm and loss of power. Our hosts were extremely responsive during the loss of power. They directed us to battery operated lanterns and flashlights. The neighbor came to check on us and ensure we were all safe. Would definitely stay again.

Amber is a great host. She’s very responsive and helpful. The house looks as nice as the pictures shown. They have all kinds of board games for kids and adults. Also, they have a kayak, tubes and a water pad for the water in the back yard. The kids had a blast with them. I would definitely book this place again. I would recommend this place to any small/large groups.
