San Carlos : locations de vacances dans des tiny houses

Las vistas, al menos en temporada seca, son insuperables. Hay vista completa al volcán Arenal desde el ventanal de la cama y desde el porche. Karen es súper amable y muy agradable. Nos ayudó con varias excursiones y nos dio consejos muy útiles sobre cosas que hacer por la zona. Siempre estaba atenta a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Estuvimos muy a gusto y si volvemos es un sitio que repetiremos sin duda.

Keith is very heartwarming, open and friendly. Knows the neighborhood and always around for whatever you need. The dogs and cats were very cute as well and they put a lot of effort in hygiene because our room was very clean. The view and swimming pool were amazing and we enjoyed watching the stars in the hot tub one night (Keith was very persuasive, and we weren't disappointed!). We would strongly recommend it for everyone looking for a relaxing place with very good energy! Keith's place is a bit outside of Monteverde, but it's actually so easy to get to any of your planned activities. We had a small 4x4, but I think during the dry season another vehicle could suffice as well (it certainly wasn't the worst road we've seen in CR). We went to cafe Om on our way to Samara (after checking out) and had one of the best vegan lunches ever in a very nice setting with the purest ingredients and kindest people, so we would also recommend this if it fits your itinerary.

The home is tucked into the mountain. We were greeted by Williams' huge smile and made us feel welcomed. The porch overlooks the valley. The view is incredible. The family is precious. Our daughter loved playing with their children. The family has a coffee farm that you can walk a trail to view. We lived sitting on the porch, listening to thr birds and immersing ourselves in nature. Our last morning- a rainbow was in the valley. The family is helpful and kind. We would be thrilled to stay here again if we make it back to Monteverde. (Their coffee is pretty amazing too)

Teresita and Eli went above and beyond. We were a group of 14 and rented out all their cabanas. As you can imagine we had lots of questions. They took the time to recommend activities and even booked on our behalf. Also, all of their food recommendations were great. The cabanas were beautiful and had everything we needed.

We had a fabulous stay at the Magic Villa. The place is amazing and accurate to pictures and descriptions. We liked that it was out of town enough to feel secluded but close enough that it was only a quick drive. The location is very private and peaceful. It is right next to the Sloth’s territory which was a great tour and very convenient. Jason was also an extremely gracious host and very responsive. We can’t wait to stay again!

This is our second time back at this air bnb and we could not be happier. The breakfast provided by the abuela and abuelo is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. The host is responsive and helpful with any and all questions and you can tell there is a lot of care put into these cute cabins and beautiful surroundings. This is a place we will continue to come back to for years to come.

Our stay here was a dream - we truly cannot recommend it enough. The host was very communicative and very helpful throughout our stay and all the instructions for the listing were easy to follow! The house had everything we needed and we appreciated having a proper cooker/stove as well as all the appliances we needed to cook anything. The house is very cute and had tons of character, with so many things to explore within it and so many places to chill and hang out! The views the house offers are unbelievable. We could not believe how lucky we were to see unmatched views of the sunset, and the stars in the night are utterly magical. We spent a whole evening lying in the hammock on the balcony, and were lucky enough to see shooting stars! We will definitely stay in Casa Cielo again and would recommend this listing to anyone who wants to experience a few days of pure magic in the leafy mountains of Monteverde. A truly unbelievable place.

The perfect location for visiting La Fortuna. The place is so cute and such a unique location. David was super responsive and flexible with our ever-changing travel plans.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! José was an incredible host—super attentive, kind, and always available. He checked in, shared great local tips, and made sure I had everything I needed. The place is beautiful, spotless, and perfect to rest, meditate, and disconnect in the middle of the mountains and nature. Even though I only stayed one night, it was absolutely magical. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was that my husband, from Miami, coordinated a surprise with José—and thanks to him, I received a bouquet of flowers at the Airbnb. José went above and beyond to make it happen, helping with every detail. That kind of care is rare and made everything feel truly special. Highly, highly recommended. This place and José’s hosting are out of this world!

We love this tiny house! First, it’s beautiful, clean, and very comfy. We were surprised that the house is bigger than we thought from the photos. It’s set away from the road in a landscaped area with many orchids and other tropical plants with two small creeks on both sides. It’s quiet and private yet walkable to a grocery and bakery. The kitchen has everything one needs for cooking, the bathroom is clean and lovely, the shower hot and with good pressure. The beds are super comfy as are the linens. This beautiful spot was a real treat for us!! And the hosts are responsive and super friendly. We highly recommend!!

Joli appartement type container sur pilotis dans les environs de Santa Elena qui domine les maisons du village. À l’intérieur, tout était parfaitement organisé, à recommander.

Logement très intime même s’il y a en 2 sur le terrain. Balcon très intéressant avec place assise confortable et petit « bol à punch » pour se tremper les pieds! Confortable à l’intérieur, la douche est superbe avec ses multiples plantes! Je recommande vivement!!

Eine wirklich traumhafte Lage, mit traumhaftem Blick- vor allem zum Sonnenuntergang. Auch die Ausstattung und der kleine Vorgarten ist sehr gemütlich. Wenn man nicht gerade einen normalen PKW sondern etwas stabileres fährt, sind die letzten 3km zur Unterkunft auch deutlich entspannter. Der Weg lohnt sich aber so oder so.

So quaint and quiet. Very short distance from so many types of food and drink. We stayed here on our way to la fortuna. I had one of the best nights of sleep in week in that bed! It’s a tiny bit tricky to find. But Google maps takes you to the right spot and the hosts directed and helped us get right in! Many butterflies and birds around!!

Andy ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat uns bei der Planung unseres Aufenthaltes unterstützt und war sofort zur Stelle, wenn es mal kleine Probleme gab. Andy hat mit dieser Unterkunft eine wahre wohlfühl- Oase geschaffen. Abseits des Trubels kann man hier die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Pool sowie die gesamte Anlage sind traumhaft angelegt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen :)

We had an incredible time at Jeffry’s home! It was one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed at!! Jeffry left marshmallows for us to roast which was such a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, shower was clean and felt luxurious. His place truly felt like an oasis and we wished we could have stayed longer!!!

Wonderful host and amazing views! We added on the night walk and dinner at his family farm. It made for such a memorial night.

Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. Le centre ville de la Fortuna est accessible à pieds ( commerces, supermarché, restaurants) tout en étant dans une rue au calme. Communication et échanges faciles avec le propriétaire.

Jocsan nos trató como familia, y ya he recomendado este lugar a mi familia que visita Costa Rica regularmente. Dormí muy bien con el sonido de la naturaleza y me encantó ver un perezoso el primer día. El jacuzzi fue increíble, todo estaba súper limpio, y apreciamos cada detalle. Hasta la próxima!

Loved our stay :) close to town but secluded enough that you feel like you’re in the jungle and away from the noise. Great spot!

This was the most unique Airbnb we had stayed at, we loved our time here! In addition to the unique layout and location, Vero and Mau have clearly put so much thought behind all the details to make it a perfect stay. They were also super communicative and gave us great recommendations on restaurants, and connected us to a private driver (Brandon) who was wonderful. They were transparent in disclosing nearby construction, and while we definitely noticed the noise, it didn’t bother us as much as it might others. And ear plugs and eye masks are provided by the hosts to help mitigate the disturbance. Would absolutely recommend this special Airbnb!!!!

Angie and Elidier’s mountain spot is paradise, amazing 20th anniversary❤️ Exceeded all of our expectations😍 Very clean and even the smallest details were thought of😁 Bed is very comfortable 😴 Hot tub was amazing after a day of adventure and hiking 😎 The hike trail around property is beautiful, heard howler monkeys on our walk and in the evenings from patio🐵🐵 Hope to return one day🙏
